AirportSim Update: Gratitude, Squashing Bugs & Ensuring Smooth Landings

Greetings Ground Handlers!

First and foremost – Welcome! We’ve seen many newcomers step on the tarmac in the last 24 hours, and we’re short on words to express how thankful we are that so many of you showed up.

With this huge influx of newcomers, we were quickly faced with the fact that a storm of pesky bugs infiltrated our 4 beautiful airports. Bugs that our many hours of testing didn’t manage to catch, impacting your experience in a bad way. And that is something we can’t and won’t accept.

The second it dawned on us, our team swapped out their marshalling wands for keyboards to squash ‘em once and for all. And with great results!

The first patch getting rid of the worst bugs is already lined up – and it will touch down later today paired with detailed patch notes.

On a serious note: Thank you for all your support, and we want to repay the trust you placed in us. We’re dedicated to working on fixing any bugs that may occur. So if you find any, please join our Discord and report them. That way we can tackle them as soon as possible. We’re an indie studio, and for us, this is a marathon, not a sprint. We’re here, we’re ready, we’re constantly working on improvements, so bear with us! We’re trying to create the best possible experience for you and, together, we can get over any hurdles that are in the way.

Keep an eye on our socials for more updates.
