Steam Beta Update #6

Changelog



1.Made it easier to place selection areas around trees.
2.Fixes for the UI updating when certain objects are interacted with.
3.Fixed some issues with the build menu and the way it handles data at runtime.
4.Made spider stairs work differently then humanoid stairs(Can now build on dirt/grass).
5.Map Saves no longer cause any delay.(Even for very large maps.)
6.Changed the method in which objects move in the world.(This is for future features.(POW))
7.Provided a major fix to items being updated in the modern inventory UI.(Will be much more responsive and should fix any issues from before.)
8.A few optimizations to the way torches function.
9.Items will now properly drop according to the direction you are facing.
10.Beginning of the implementation of job priorities.(This means a unit will be able to have more then one job. This feature will not be complete until version 0.3.0 at minimum.)
11.Changes and fixes to many sounds.
12.Reduction of the games download size.
13.Port 30301 is the default hosting port please make sure this is open for hosting local and live games.

After a long process of restoring the system before the update the server is now once again live.We will be posting a new update log within the next 24 hours please stay tuned.

[Server Status] Extended Downtime

Due to the recent update the OS manufacture produced there is going to be extended downtime to revert the update. We will inform you here but do not expect this to take over 1 hour from the time of this post. 12:00 AM CST 12/13/18

Official Testing Server Maintenance



Hello, there will be a short downtime for the official dedicated testing server between 9:00 PM CST and 10:00 PM CST. This downtime is for software security updates and general server maintenance.The server might appear live before this time. Thank you for your understanding an patience.

Steam Beta Update #5

Letting everyone know about the shadow update that proceded #4. This was a fix to the client that resulted in a white screen being displayed rather then the launcher. This was addressed in the update.

Beta Steam Update #4

Another update for all of you with pre early access beta keys. I hope you enjoy.

  • 1.Added silk floors and bridges for spiders.
  • 2.Fixed for some runtime errors.
  • 3.Removes respawns for armies to reduce rate of NPC population increase.(Not sure why I made army NPCs respawn in the first place.)
  • 4.Changed initial wood and seed cap to reflect other caps.
  • 5.Fixed an issue with trees sometimes having the auto selection deleted right before it has finished being destroyed.
  • 6.Fixed an issue where units who already were below 0 exhaustion would no longer auto sleep.
  • 7.Added support for spiders and dragons auto sleeping.
  • 8.Massive decrease in server side CPU usage during extra long hosting sessions.
  • 9.Added needed resources to building menu descriptions.(Long needed.)
  • 10.Enabled the destroy tool, reclaim those resources!(You can access it from the build menu)
  • 11.The server/client is now LAA which should help in some cases for long server run times.

  • 1.Fixed an issue where switching to certain jobs would break the mining job till a relog.
  • 2.Fixes an issue where you can only set certain jobs one unit at a time rather then for all selected.
  • 3.Crafting now properly only has units set to that job type go work on the job.
  • 4.Internal improvements to crafting in preparation for a crafting GUI
  • 5.Major fix to crafting where a crafted item would not get a quality level.
  • 6.Fixes for spiders breeding.
  • 7.Fixes to cages and removing a units items while its in a cage.
  • 8.Improvements and fixes to NPC guarding AI.
  • 9.Balancing changes to fishing as well as initial fishing and bone cap set to 250.
  • 10.Fishing now gives 1 cooked fish and 1 bone per successful attempt.
  • 11.Intelligence now effects experience gains.
  • 12.You can now toggle a classic style stat menu with the options menu.

Beta Steam Update #2

Development is steaming along with several updates for server side and single player gaming. Addition of a secondary style UI known as classic available under the options menu. Major fixes to NPC AI and improvements to NPC guarding AI logic.

Balancing to fishing and a limiter for initial resources gained through fishing 'Later on you will be able to research improvements to fishing tech and equip better fishing equipment to your units.`.

Furthermore intelligence now plays a factor in a units skill gains equation. Beyond this I am currently working on other adjustments to balance game play through long play testing.
