🎁 Early Access Player Rewards – Claim Your Exclusive Bonuses!

For those who haven’t heard yet, we’ve been running a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the final push toward launching Alterium Shift this year. This includes the physical editions so many players have been asking for!

From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to reward those who supported us in Early Access—long before we ever launched this Kickstarter. It took us some time to figure out the best way to handle this, particularly with verifying game ownership, but now we have a solution!

If you purchased Alterium Shift in Early Access before or during the Kickstarter campaign, you can now verify your ownership using the form below. Once confirmed, you'll be added to our fulfillment list to receive your rewards around game launch time.

👉 Validate Your Early Access Ownership Here

📌 Note:

  • An email is required to distribute rewards.
  • Rewards are only available to players who owned the game before Kickstarter Steam key fulfillment (post-campaign).
  • Ownership date will be verified through Steam.

Minor Update 1.4.2

Update

This release features a change to Pyra’s first mission. We’ve heard the feedback that the intro feels slow and has too many “fetch quests.” While we intended this as a way to underscore the annoyance it would cause Pyra, it ended up annoying our players.

To address this, the Mayor will only give Pyra one of the following quests:

  • Deliver letters to plains guards
  • See Clay for his delegated tasks
  • Visit Sage to do their tasks

We hope this will make Pyra’s storyline feel less laborious in the beginning so players can get to the action sooner. Enjoy!

Known Issues

  • 3D monsters show as white squares in the Bestiary - all except the Rock Golem - we are working to add all the proper static images for a future update.
  • Running away from some battles still shows the results screen for some reason
  • Opening the overworld map causes monsters to respawn - also sometimes causes a battle to trigger immediately.

Patch Update v1.4.1.5

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Temple watergate sound was louder than sound settings
  • Fixed: Editing sound controls from main menu would cause ongoing “click” sound when navigating or moving player.
  • Fixed: “Continue” option would not show properly on fresh installs if the player did not have any Atlas saves
  • Fixed: (Visual) Equipment and Accessories would not show effects on Health/AE
  • Fixed: Audio settings changed from main menu would change back after loading a save
  • Fixed: (Visual) Character profiles would show wrong for supporting party members when loading alternate saves (such as the Hermit showing as Pyra)
  • Fixed: When loading a save from in-game, player movement could still happen while the screen was fading out

Patch Update v1.4.1.4

  • Added a new persistent Device Settings separate from cloud saves for things like resolutions and the cloud save setting itself.

    • This will be used for any settings that are meant specifically for your device rather than to be shared across devices.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Cloud save toggling wouldn’t properly reload data from the appropriate app data location (either from the cloud, or the machine)
  • Fixed: Bestiary data wouldn’t stay “stored” after quitting and reopening the game

Updates

  • Running away from some battles still shows the results screen for some reason
  • Opening the overworld map causes monsters to respawn - also sometimes causes a battle to trigger immediately.
  • When cloud saves are enabled, the bestiary data does not properly update over time due to an issue with how the persistent store is loaded and stored in the cloud vs. on the computer

    • The bestiary data will update appropriately when cloud saves are disabled.
    • We are working on a fix to correct this and ensure the persistent storage updates appropriately to the current cloud save settings.
