Version 1.06 Update
- Paris Map - If you intitiate certain story events with Cafe Principe or La Place Royale before visiting those locations for the first time, their intro incidents will integrate this information more smoothly.
- Cafe Principe - Fixed an issue where, sometimes, visits to Cafe Principe randomly ended early.
- Story - Fixed an issue where, sometimes, the Epilogue ended early during Alex's segment.
As a general note, past play throughs will not be counted in unlocking of achievments, as that data was never being tracked up until this point. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Version 1.05 Update
- Parties - Gifting wine to the host of a party will no longer cause a random peril increase
- Story - Five brand new random political incidents have been added to Chapter 2!
- General - Various incident and typo fixes
Version 1.04 Update
- Save System - Limited the maximum amount of possible player saves to 40, to preserve system stability. This should also prevent new cases of the error that caused some players to be unable to load their saves.
- Servants - Added several more servant interactions to various incidents throughout the game, to improve their usefulness.
- Story - Enhanced several sections in the epilogue related to Armand and his... plans.
- General - In the case of certain errors, the game will give you the ability to email your save data to customer support so we can help you more directly.
- General - Typos and minor animation fixes.
To go into the saves issue a little bit more: When we first designed the save system, we didn't put a limit on the amount of saves that players could have. However, it appears that we seriously underestimated the amount of separate save files some players would have. Once players started getting into the area of 300+ save files, issues started appearing with our game's ability to properly create and maintain the integrity of the file. This sometimes manifested as players being unable to load their saves at all, as the game was trying to load corrupted data. To that end, we've limited the amount of separate saves a player can have at any one time to 40 (not including the autosave), which is still a lot of files.
Any players who have more than 40 saves will be prompted to delete some of their saves before they can make any new save files. We're really sorry about any inconvenience this might cause, but it's turned out to be necessary to prevent file corruption, and potential loss of game progress (which is something we clearly have to place a high priority on preventing).

We've been thrilled to read your adventures in Paris thus far! We've got an exciting little announcement for you today. We're participating in Gamescom 2021! It's still being held digitally, so instead of setting up a booth in person, we've upgraded our demo.
The new and improved demo has the same content, but has been more polished to reflect the quality of the final product. If you think your friends will enjoy Ambition, the improved demo will give them a great first taste of Paris!

Patch: Version 1.01
- Le Trompette du Peuple - Fixed background music and ambient sfx in Pierre's office
- Calendar- If a player invites someone on a rendezvous and that character fails to respond to the invitation in time, the player will no longer be penalized for 'missing' an invitation
- Parties - Reduced instances of the error where buying a party host wine raises the player's peril (this is still under investigation)
- Story - Characters who leave Paris or die will stop inviting you on Rendezvous (this fix will only affect new play throughs, sorry)
- Incidents - Removed an extraneous piece of floating text, as well as a bad character bark in 'Clandestine Meetings'
- System - Frame rate has been limited to 30fps to stop the game from hogging video cards and processors on certain setups.
