New Minotaur's AI


In the new update 0.6, we added an improved Minotaur AI. In fact, not even improved, but a completely new AI. We removed the old code and made a new one from scratch. Now it is more realistic and predictable. And not only that, now you can hide from it! Turn off the flashlight, hide in a dark corner and do not move, if you are lucky, he will not notice you. Also with this update, we finally close the first level for changes, only fixes and balance.

Hi! Next big update should be released on the 31st of january. But, we have some shedule changes. We are going to split this update into three parts:

  • Second level updates. More objects, mobs and achievements. We are getting close to the final look of the level.

  • Spring festival event.

  • Infinite mode update.

0.5.8 update is out!

Hello! So we released the first update from our new development cycle.

  • New second level (alpha version) As we said, we are doing the second level from scratch. Only now, instead of doing it for a very long time, and then immediately releasing it ready, we decided to release it in pieces. In the first update: a new terrain, some basic mechanics and achievements. It is still far from what is planned. And to be honest, you can hardly call it playable, but it's better than nothing.
  • Alternative (fast) ending. Now the game has the first of 3 possible endings. Although it is short, but getting it is not so easy)
  • Difficulty levels in story mode. Now you can choose at what level of difficulty you want to go through the plot: easy - the labyrinth is smaller, the monsters and the Minotaur are weaker; normal - everything is as planned; hard - the labyrinth is bigger, and the monsters and the Minotaur are stronger. In easy mode, the player does not receive achievements, and in hard mode you will receive a special achievement. Also now leaderboards are divided into difficulties.
  • Switchable view bobbing when running, walking, etc. Some players have asked to do this because they are getting nauseous.
  • Fixed a ceiling bug. Optimized and improved sounds.

In the next update, we will have an event prepared in anticipation of the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), and will also completely redo the endless mode.
