Patch Notes for Update 11/5/2018



+ Added NPC skeletons to the inside of Cathedral

+ Added Caged One to Cathedral

+ Added new map and 3D minimap to Cathedral, these changes should help guide new players with some suggestions about what is possible in the game

+ Additional, map-wide rendering optimization

+ Reduced the cooldown on Nighttide

+ Duffed damages on Cursed Dagger, Cursed Sword, Cursed Hammer

+ Fixed glitch where new players have no sound

+ C and X screens blocked from popping up on spawn and death screens

+ Added invite hyperlink to Discord button on the death screen *

+ Added new gathering mechanic: Bottles. search Cathedral City for bottles and break them for a randomish loot drop

+ Further optimized object rendering

+ Fixed many of the problems around Aart's Tomb and Desert Vault

+ Added the first of the Friends. These helpful undead ancients will help guide new players, and will eventually trade for various materials.

+ Added a large city around cathedral. for now, the gathers in this area are ridiculously buffed for PVP night

+ Adjusted Oldgrowth trees to be easier to climb and gather on

+ Massive map wide rendering optimizations

+ Changes to shrines, pre-patch shrines will no longer work but will drop massively buffed loot when they are broken

+ Shrines now create a gather flare in the sky when looted

+ Created a new capsule for the Steam store

Hey Guys,

Ded and I initiated the process of becoming free to play on steam. We're really excited about the possibilites for Animyst if we start getting more people trying the game out, and generating gameplay and feedback at an accelerated pace.
If you purchased the game, just comment here or join the discussion on our Discord and we will reward you with rare game assets.
One thing this means is we will be looking to develop aspects of Animyst that are paid for, including aesthetic items and possible subscriptions with perks. We will never charge for anything PVP related, everything you can already do and make in Animyst will always be a part of the core game and much much more as well.

Patch Notes for Update 11/18/2018



+ Items stacked in your hotbar will now only drop one in the stack. This means that you can load up hotbar slots with stacks of your favorite spells, then be combat ready after you die without reequpping everything.

+ Bank storage has been regionalized!

+ Added vast new forest area, increasing map size by 20%

+ Added two new rally points, Tempal and Green Hole

+ Added new crafting material, Underbrush, gatherable only in the forest

+ Changed the model for the oldgrowth tree

+ Added green grass and more reeds to the entire length of the canyon

+ Made a new map image (X) to reflect new spaces, and new rallies. This image is tilted campared to previous maps, this is in preparation for a proper GPS locater to be added

+Added two new clothing items, both of which require underbrush to craft

+ Added a completely new boss fight experience to a ruin in the forest area

+ Added a few missing item icons
