So after coming back from an extended family visit we have gotten back to work with another patch.
* Super Soaker should now show up in inventory regardless of gender.
* Zombie Buildup has been slowed massively.
* Quest generation has been changed to reflect time spent in the world.
We are also planning to release a free DLC in early April that will allow for the recruitment of faction based allies and to that end we have changed the inner workings of the faction system. Soon you will be able to have aliens, mutants, and zombies on your team.

When we were building this game we were also developing a sister game with the same engine, 'Moonstone Tavern' - That game was completed at the same time but rather than launch 2 games at once we decided to stagger their releases. We've now put that game onto Greenlight, so if you enjoyed this one and fancy playing it's sister game set in a fantasy world, then we would really appreciate your vote.

As if zombies, mutants, and aliens weren't trouble enough, everyday humans are now causing trouble on the streets.

'24 Hours 'til Rescue'
Our friends over at 'Braincraft Gaming' have been working on a game based off the 'Apocalypse Hotel' engine - Normally limited to mobile games this is their first foray into PC gaming and I think they have created something special.
WARNING: This game is incredibly difficult. If you find the later stages of Apocalypse hotel difficult you will not enjoy this game. It is a rogue-lite style game which features permanent death - That's right folks - if you die, you die. It's more about beating your high-score than completing the story (I've scored 516 - if you want to try to beat me)
I personally really enjoy games like this, and like Nethack, but make sure to read the warnings on their page before purchasing. I have released it on Steam for them and hopefully they will be releasing a mobile port sometime in the next 6 months... take a look at their page for more details!

Patch 1.1.3
This patch balances mid/later game play by:
- Slowing down the rate of zombie buildup to a maximum of 15 per buildup session.
- Lowers the enemy skill damage at higher difficulties.
- Lowers the chance of difficulty increases.
- Increases the chance of mercs.

Patch 1.1.1 [zombies expanded]
Firstly I'd like to apologise for the many unanswered PMs over the last few days. My wife and son have the flu so I'm playing nurse as well as trying to work. I promise I'll get back to you all over the next week.
Anyway... the patch...
This patch expands upon the randomly generated zombies. Firstly, it increases the sprites used in zombie creation from 20 to a whopping 50! You will now see medical personnel zombies, police zombies, fire service zombies, and more. Secondly, the zombies spawned will now spawn with a more diverse range of speeds, health points, skills, and sight range.

* Fixed an infinite loop bug with one of the maze difficulties.
* Gun oil is now 60% easier to find.
* Increased the chance of some low level zombies giving higher fuel payouts.
* Increased the chance of some high level zombies giving lower fuel payouts.
* Fixed a small chance of crashing when entering an enemy space ship.
* Streamlined code for random generation.
* Increased grenade range to 7 from 6.
* Fixed an error where companions sometimes disappear.
* Repaired some code causing stutter on XP machines.
* Companions are now slightly more resilient.
* Fixed an error where 'blood rain' would sometimes occur inside the hospital.
* Hospitals are slightly less challenging. High level Z's are less likely to spawn.
* Increased the rewards for having mechanics and scavengers.
