Patch 1.0.9 - Genetics Project

Patch 1.0.8 - The Grenade Patch

Patch 1.0.8 makes several changes to the game along with various bug-fixes and difficulty balances.

1. New items
* Grenades: craftable, lootable, and explosive AOE damage.
* Genetic Boost: boost your level artificially through drugs.

2. New enemies: The Zomtree and The Shade.
* Zomtrees are mutant trees usually found in parks.
* Shades are mutated humans that only come out at night.

3. New ingredients.
4. New Crafting.

Patch 1.0.7 - New Hotel Themes

Along with some minor bug fixes we are pleased to present two, craftable, hotel-themes. The Bunker and The Hive

The Hive is mutant-bee inspired theme: sickly sweet but with the added bonus of producing daily honey to feed your guests.

The Bunker is a military theme with ammo lockers that are restocked daily. Also increases the chance of mercenaries visiting the bar.

Patch 1.0.6 (further blances)

1. Final buildings or hospitals no longer artificially raise the difficulty.

2. Mercs have a higher chance of appearing after day 14

1.0.5 (Companions Expanded)

This update focuses on companions…

1. The third floor of the hotel now has 2 extra rooms making the total 5, and increasing your companion limit to 6 including your dog.

2. Human companions can now, like the player, kick zombies backwards!

3. The ‘go crazy’ command now sends your companions hunting to the furthest corners of any map, hunting enemies.

4. Your dog now learns skills: Acid Spit at level 10, Flame Spit at level 20, and Dark Blast at level 30.

5. General AI improvements

Patch 1.0.4

1. Makes threat level increases staggered by day's survived
< 7 = No increases
< 14 = Only increases to AMBER
< 21 = Only increases to RED

2. Players can now check stats at any time by pressing 'L'

3. Made rarer items more likely to appear by days passed than by difficulty.

4. Fixed the pause screen giving the wrong information for the equipment screen.

Patch 1.0.3 (Complete Rebalance)

This patch completely re-balances the combat system to make things easier.

1: Hyper Fast Enemies:
Enemies that are significantly faster than you are now much less likely to spawn. At threat level 'GREEN' there is a 0% chance of them spawning in exteriors and a 1% chance of them spawning in interiors. At 'AMBER' there is now a 1% chance of them spawning in exteriors and a 3% chance in interiors. In the previous version the numbers were 7% in exterior 'GREEN' and 11% Interior, and 11% exterior 'AMBER' and 15% Interior. 'RED' and 'BLACK' threat levels have also been decreased.

2: Enemy Damage:
This has been lowered by 33% in threat level 'AMBER', 25% in threat level 'RED' and 12% in threat level 'BLACK'

3: Mercenary Spawn:
There is now an increased chance of mercenary spawns at higher threat levels giving you the opportunity to lower the threat through 'fuel' or by getting a terraformer quest.

Patch 1.0.2 (bug fixes)

This patch....

1. Fixes issues with the shop not registering items over 99.
2. Re-balances guest generation.
3. Makes it far less likely for the threat level to rise to RED withing the first 14 days.
4. Only the 'Hotel Toolbox' is now creatable on the toolbox quest
5. Loot glimmer made more visible.

Patch 1.0.1 (Time Adjust)

Patch Contains:

1. Time has been slowed marginally to give slightly longer days (new game required to see any difference.)
2. Text errors fixed in 'Pad' screens!
