We're super excited to announce that 'ArcRunner' is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and Nintendo Switch on April 18th!

Patch Notes: Version 1.1.0.0



We're happy to announce that our latest batch of changes and fixes has now gone live, and this one is packing some big changes! Please see the full list below!

CHANGES:
• Reworked weapon system:
• Weapons now have 3 tiers: Basic, Rare and Epic with randomised stats
• Every weapon has one or more (depending on tier) random Mods taken from a huge pool which change the way each weapon works
• Weapons also have one or more classes of damage which are affected by mods and boosted by certain Augments
• Elites, bosses and reward crates always contain higher-tier weapons
• Added "Acid Concentrator" & "Cryogenics" and reworked "Tesla Coils" & "Weapon Interface" Augments which boost weapons with matching damage classes
• You now earn "AI CORES" by completing the game to keep track of your accomplishments (these will come in handy in a future update)
• You can now see stat comparison arrows when picking up a weapon against what you already have equipped
• Cold Fusion Gun now deals more damage
• Stryker is now much more obvious when ready to fire
• Point Defence and Auto Turret now use a different firing sound
• You can no longer go back to the Nanites screen with a locked class (e.g. Hacker) selected in the Cryochamber
• Player animation is now smoother
• Buffed all heavy weapon damage


BUGS FIXED:
• Adrenaline Store now restores HP on level exit on clients
• Fixed several issues with environmental collision
• Fixed an issue where the player would not spawn into a level after loading
• Fixed some issues where destructible objects collided with environment
• Fixed an issue with the Soldier Shield Blast projectile staying onscreen
• Fixed an issue where the end cinematic did not show the correct player character

GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- Added "Hell" difficulty
- Added "Easy" difficulty
- Faster transition from Soldier & Ninja Melee to Dodging/Shooting
- You can now ping enemies, lootables and items on the ground using the PING option from the Emotes Wheel
- Environmental destructibles take longer to explode
- Added "Settings > Gameplay > Show Hit Markers" option to see damage dealt on enemies
- You now receive 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 Nanites for completing the game on Easy/Normal/Hard/Hell difficulty mode
- Players can no longer join sessions set to difficulty levels they have not unlocked
- Armour can now be seen for all players on the Player Status Bar (top left of screen)
- Re-added reloading while using special ability
- Plasma bow no longer kills Holo Decoys
- Turrets can no longer activate until players have started a section
- Tarantulas cannot shield small spiders until they have all finished spawning
- Slight nerf to Demolisher, Plasma Bow and Bandit DPS


Bugs fixed:
- Fixed an issue with destructibles not displaying explosion circle
- Fixed an issue where starting the game occasionally starts Steam VR
- Fixed some animation issues with the Plasma Bow
- Fixed an issue with the Entry Airlock sometimes not displaying for a couple of seconds in multiplayer
- Fixed an issue where players could be teleported into the ground if too close to a mission reward crate
- Fixed an issue where the Entry airlock would close with a player still inside
- Fixed an issue with Docks crates placements
- Fixed an issue with a Challenge Area in Eden which does not register challenge progress
- Fixed an issue where dropping a weapon from the Inventory wiped its Augment Synergy
- Fixed an issue where you could equip a secondary weapon from the Armoury that you had not unlocked
- Can now see Armour Shards pickups on the Player Status bar
- Fixed an issue with Toggle Sprint after dodging

GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- AI Cores count towards Elite kills
- Active Armour restore on melee perk buffed
- Phase shift buffed to last longer at higher tiers
- Plasma Grenade, Shock Grenade and Electron Web now more powerful
- You can now rebind Toggle Heavy Weapon key in the settings menu
- Pressing Reload while holding your melee weapon swaps back to your last ranged weapon & reloads it
- Dodging with no direction key down is now smoother


Bugs fixed:
- Projectiles now pass through railings more easily
- Fixed an issue with client rarely losing augments & weapons in a multiplayer game
- Fixed an issue with client rarely being unable to open chests in a multiplayer game
- Disc Launcher & Thunderbolt kills now count correctly in challenges
- Fixed some issues with destructible crate placement in the Docks
- Fixed an issue with being downed while melee attacking doesnt show as downed correctly
- Players can no longer be stuck inside a spawning reward crate on some missions
- Fixed an issue with receiving the "Ripperdoc" achievement too easily
- Fixed an issue with the Asteroid Defence and Satellite Strike mission timers not updating on clients in multiplayer
- Unlocked classes & difficulty levels now transfer via cloud to Steamdeck correctly
- Defibrillator now restores correct amount of HP after triggering with higher levels

We are excited to announce that the patch notes for ArcRunner are now available! We want to thank you all for your valuable feedback since the game's launch, and we are committed to continuing to work on and improve the game for all of our players.

The latest update includes a variety of changes and improvements, including bug fixes, gameplay adjustments, and new features. Some of the highlights of the patch notes include:
- Singleplayer and Multiplayer saves are now shared between both game types
- All player classes now move and accelerate faster
- Player jumping is now faster and less floaty
- Removed Mouse Smoothing/Negative Mouse Acceleration
- On completing the game your meta-progress is no longer wiped - however your currently equipped upgrades are reset and you start with 100 Nanites and difficulty set to "Hard"
- Armour Shards are now carried over to the next level
- The Soldier's Energy Hammer is now faster
- Swapping weapons with all classes is now considerably faster
- Reworked the Micro-missile launcher to activate more reliably
- Dodging is now tighter
- The Auto-turret is now more reliable and has a longer range
- The Point Defence cannon now fires faster
- The Thunderbolt lightning gun now deals more damage
- The Plasma Bow now charges up faster
- Increased the total time in Challenge areas to allow 3 players to successfully complete all challenge modes
- Removed Compressed Game Files to fix an issue with the game hitching on some computers
- Demolisher now only needs 50 Elite Kills to unlock in the Armoury
- More multiplayer sessions shown onscreen at a time in the Join Session browser
- Melee-only challenge no longer appears in Outer Core


Bugs fixed:
- Fixed an issue with the host not seeing armoury weapons
- Fixed an issue with Disc Thrower kills not counting towards Armoury unlocks or kill stats in multiplayer
- Fixed an issue with "Weaponsmith" and "Hard Boiled" achievements not firing
- Join Session browser now scrolls correctly with gamepad
- Fixed an issue with "Cybernetic" and "Ripperdoc" achievements not firing
- Disc thrower now triggers enemy health bars on hit
- Fixed issue with Hacker when removing Neural Network Nanite levels
- Fixed an issue when the player opens the Pause Menu while loading a new level
- Fixed issue with Inventory staying on screen after being opened during loading screen
- Fixed an issue with the "wide nozzle" augment on the Cold Fusion Gun
