it's patch notes Monday once again, today with version 0.0.9.3 of ArcRunner!

CHANGES:

  • Removed hacks section with soldier + ninja
  • Increase size of armoury unlock progress text
  • Changed emotes key to "V"
  • Remove all voice chat functionality and audio slider
  • Updated the App Icon in Steam
  • Moved all meta progression (e.g. max difficulty completed) into a new meta_progress.sav file ready for cloud saves
  • Settings category now changes on highlight of button / gamepad selection
  • Added supply crates to Eden
  • Added Steam achievements

FIXED:

  • Host does not get any notification when any client gets disconnected from the lobby.
  • The Delete save slot confirmation window fails to invoke for two save slot after pressing the Y.
  • Eden boss lazer tilted
  • Hacker with cyber legs doesnt have glowing parts
  • "Neural overdrive" text goes outside bounds
  • Plasma arrows now disappear correctly in MP
  • When players are too close to gates in city - doesnt unlock section
  • The Soldier character fails to take damage from enemies during the gameplay after completing final tutorial step
  • 'ALREADY ASSIGNED TO' notification fails to appear for a few functions even if the player use assigned key.
  • The player is unable to view Move and Look sub-options in the controls once the player.
  • The title loses focus on the delete save slot confirmation window after pressing the B button.
  • Challenge lootbox no longer hovers in air on client
  • Client kill count now updates correctly during challenges
  • Issue with focus after selecting difficulty with gamepad + added "back" button
  • Numerous issues with joining during a run and cryochamber
  • GAMEPLAY menu scrollbox now scrolls correctly with gamepad
  • Fixed Steam Cloud Saves issue
  • Specials/Ultimates now disengage on Inventory/Autodoc/etc
  • Fixed: tesla coils augment can stun other players

It's time for yet another round of patch notes!

We are excited to share with you further steps in the development of ArcRunner with version 0.0.9.1!

  • Jumpjets with gamepad - Now stays on until jump is pressed again
  • Ultimate Ability now locked until correct nanite is purchased
  • Non-permanent Armour breaks on entering autodoc
  • When you swap a gun in the inventory now reselects gun (gamepad)
  • Low GFX quality textures do not affect player characters as much
  • Fixed an issue when starting jump unarmed then changing to a weapon mid-jump
  • Special abilities now disable when a cutscene starts
  • Fixed an issue with "Already assigned" control message appearing even when no conflict is present
  • Cannot assign Windows Key to controls any longer
  • Updated all City levels with new floor decals + fixed all lighting issues
  • Fixed issue in inventory where cannot select 3 x Nanite columns

Hello everyone!

We are excited to bring to you version 0.08 of ArcRunner today! Lots of changes and fixes have been implemented with this one and we can't wait for you to see them in-game!

  • Added FOV slider in Settings menu
  • Game now pauses if controller is disconnected
  • Added missing executable file details
  • Multi-player & Single-player save files are now separated
  • Added simpler weapon descriptions
  • Reworked weapon pickup UI so it takes up less space
  • If you die in a boss encounter to any enemy, CHIP now assumes you died to that boss and gives you appropriate hint
  • New Ninja stealth effect
  • New gadget charges UI
  • Added some sound FX on Armoury
  • Added some extra time padding at the end of an Intro Cutscene


  • Fixed issue where player picked up a lootbox item with JUMP
  • Fixed issue where grenade trajectory stayed onscreen after double-tap

Happy New Year everybody,

and happy patch notes day! We've only got a short update for you today as version 0.07.4 includes mostly updated artwork and fonts.

Hey everyone!

It's time for the last patch notes update of the year! With every patch notes update we are getting a little closer to release next year and today we are excited to bring to you version 0.07.2 of ArcRunner!

  • Added Start screen on main menu
  • Outer Core mini-boss intro issue fixed
  • Reduced the chance of heavy weapon drops
  • Improved Assassins in Eden Zone
  • Added Controller Aim Assist - can be adjusted with slider in Gameplay Settings
  • Reworked the final boss encounter
  • Soldier shield now blocks all projectiles correctly
  • Removed "Easy" difficulty mode
  • Can only select the HACKER class if you have completed the game on NORMAL difficulty
  • Players now revive with minimum of 50% HP
  • Ninja now slides forwards a little with Katana attacks
  • Added ARMOURY section after Cryochamber to unlock starting weapons

ArcRunner Version 0.06

It's patch notes day once again!

Happy Monday everyone. It's time for update version 0.06 of ArcRunner including lots of improvements and fixes!

Version 0.06

  • Fixed a couple more areas where enemies would get stuck in the Docks Zone
  • The Inner Core zone now has a "Hub" area where the player has to go into multiple levels to find a
    Quantum Key in order to access the final boss level
  • Fixed issue where player couldn't select nanites with gamepad
  • Fixed issue where player couldn't select autodoc upgrades with gamepad
  • Added gamepad hints for lootboxes
  • Assigning multiple keys or gamepad buttons to the same function now shows a warning
  • Made the Satellite Strike mission a little easier
  • Pop-up turrets will now deactivate when you complete a section
  • Changed the default Hacker gamepad controls
  • Improved the Micro-Nuke
  • Assassins are now a little easier to handle in Eden
  • Fixed an issue where the Elite Assassin had no colliision
  • Added some more UI effects (Cryochamber, Autodoc, etc)

ArcRunner Version 0.05

Happy Monday!

Once again, we are coming to you with a new ArcRunner update! It's a short one this week but it's not any less exciting than the previous ones!

  • Optimised projectiles into C++ for better performance

  • Fixed a multiplayer bug where the client was dealing too much damage

ArcRunner Version 0.04

Happy patch notes day, everybody!

Today, we are bringing you update 0.04 of ArcRunner including a bunch of new weapons and augments as well as some updates to the Hacker!

  • New augments: Tesla Coils and Supershot
  • New weapons: Micro-Nuke launcher and Graviton Gun
  • Tooltip in-game for reporting a bug (F12 hotkey)
  • Emotes and waves radial menu (Hold Z or Right Thumbstick Button to open)
  • New intro movie
  • Hacker now has hover ability by default
  • Hacker now has super-dodge ability
  • Many other Hacker related tweaks and changes
  • New Class selection screen when starting a new run explains a lot more about each class
