Almost two weeks have passed since the release of The Wild Lands, and today we wanted to share some incredible numbers with you.
Since the release of The Wild Lands, we had lots of new players - roughly 20% more players have enjoyed their adventures in Alandia since June 22th;
During the work on The Wild Lands, we reworked over 15% of the original game's code and brought back from beta builds one important gameplay feature;
Over 6% of our past players returned to the world of Alandia after the release of The Wild Lands;
We have processed 100% of user reports sent to our email and fixed 100% of bugs reported to us that way during the time that passed since the launch of the game;
Game's optimization improved by up to 20-30% on some levels - that's counting the fact that some levels became almost twice bigger;
Only 1.5% of players were able to get 100% of achievements, while over 6% already have at least one of them unlocked.
We always tried to base our decisions on what is best for our whole community - not only the vocal minority - and we are really proud of our successes together by far.
There are players who played the game together with their children - sometimes even with their whole families - across the world. Of course we had multiple cases when reviewers and streamers who tried to resell their streamers key - so big thanks to everyone who are actually streaming the game and taking their time to make a video about it - that matters a lot for us!
Thank you for staying with us throughout this journey, and thanks again for playing!

Update 1.1: The Wild Lands - Coming Soon
Today we have an exciting announcement to share with all of you.
We're working on a massive update called The Wild Lands, which will bring new quests, activities, improvements and bugfixes to Foxus. We have been quiet because we were reading your feedback all the time to understand how we should approach this update, and now we're hard at work on it.
New Storyline
Your adventures in Alandia continue with all-new quests and locations. Not only the update features new locations - past locations would be reworked as well. All-new story continues the main story of the game.
Collectables
Collectables system is being largely reworked. For those who were worried, strawberries will make sense pretty soon. Same goes for the amount and placing of collectables on levels.
Achievements
We took our time to think about achievements, and they will be available in The Wild Lands update.
Improvements
Of course this is just a small amount of things we're approaching right now. We're planning a lot of fixes towards collisions, savegames, performance and other game's systems to be included in this update.
The Wild Lands will release in April and will be available for free to all Foxus players.
We hope you enjoy what comes next!
Roadmap
Hi all,
We'd like to see more of Foxus as much as you do, we'd like to improve it together with you - and this is the reason for this post!
Work in progress
Foxus Team is one-man indie - besides several very supportive people who are helping out with the translations - and I'm already doing the best I can.
We’ve now released 3 patches, and hopefully they really improve the experience for everybody, and I've finally got some sleep after working non-stop for the last 40 hours. We are still tracking more issues, and working hard to resolve them in the future updates. Thank you everyone who took their time to share their feedback about updates!
I understand that many players on Steam write negative reviews as a way to motivate developers to keep working on the game. In reality, those measures are having the reverse effect. This is not the case here - I am already super-motivated because I love this game!
I am very glad that you see the potential of the game, and I appreciate your patience and understanding. But please understand that I can't do everything at the once because the game is really massive for just one person.
Roadmap
Now things are starting to get really interesting. While we still have to fix the issues you're experiencing, we have plans for the big content update - which will bring new activities to the game, improve collectable system and add more locations. We just need some time to think about it before diving into it.
So I have an important suggestion for everyone. Let's build our roadmap together. Please post your feedback /suggestions/any issues to the discussion on the Steam Forums. This way we can categorize all the issues and understand which features are critical for you. Also, we'd like to know what kind of activities would you like to see in the game.
The future depends on you. And we hope you can join us in our journey!
Thank you,
Vladimir

Patch 1.02.1

Camera Improvements. You can change camera sensitivity and turn on/off mouse camera smoothing, adjust FOV and switch to follow camera!
Sound. You can also now change sound volume in-game.
Performance. You can now adjust FOV manually to get better FPS.
We're still very hard at work and I am already working on the patch 1.02.2, hoping to bring controller support as soon as possible, so stay tuned!
We'd love to bring more content to the game once tech issues and improvements are all resolved, so your comments, feedback and reviews are highly appreciated!
Patch 1.01
Thank you to everyone who’s been playing Foxus!
Whilst many people are enjoying Foxus, we’re working hard to resolve issues you have as quickly as possible. We've been testing a game with PS4 gamepad for a while and while it should work OK now, we're not supporting controllers yet officially.
Patch 1.01 is live now and it addresses the following issues:
Settings. Basic settings were added to the main menu.
Follow Camera Mode. Follow Camera Mode can be activated via Settings Menu.
Optimization. You can now turn on/off special effects via Settings Menu, getting 10%-20% better performance in-game.
Critical bugfix. Fixed an issue with level event synchronization.
Minor fixes.
At this point, your support is greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
The Foxus Team
Foxus is out now!
Hey all,
The long wait is over - Foxus is out now!
We're still hard at work fixing many things and bringing back features (options, etc.). Thank you all for your love and support!
(If anything goes very wrong - restart the application completely and start over. We are aware of the restart bug, and it should be fixed as soon as possible).
Dev Diary #6: Character Customization
It's Friday and we're back with another Dev Diary!
The release date is rapidly approaching, and we're still working hard on the game. We are pleased to announce a new feature coming to Foxus: Character Customization!
We're still working on this feature, but its already looking good.
If you ever wanted to play as a badass black fox or blue fox or white fox or even pink fox with yellow stripes, then this is your chance!
This is not all. There is one more feature which we promised to show a week ago!
Thank you for all continued support. Let us know what you think in the comments down below!
