Based on feedback from our community, instead of charging 74.99 USD for all the Episodes, it was determined it was best to drop the price to 14.99 USD during Early Access, for only Episode 1, as the success of EP1 will determine if there will be future episodes.

This is more of a pre-alpha Pilot episode, and with the help of the community, we can make it really rock, and continue to release and support future episodic content, and eventually PVP and MMO (This price may change in the future)

Asteroid destruction Major Overhaul, Engine Upgrade + Price Increases

Greetings NDi Community!


Our tech team has been busy and made a major discovery and breakthrough on rendering large-scale asteroids and planets that will be equal or better than the mining destruction shown on Space Engineers and Star Citizen, something we are very excited about!!!


Attention beloved community, the NDi crew has been overwhelmed with the huge undertaking of the potentially massive epic space adventure. In order for us to believe Episode one, we had to reshape with an attack plan focusing on the core mechanics while offering a lighter version of EP1. Some content has been cut or reworked, in order to provide a solid, more well-defined experience.

NDi is dedicated to completing ARM, even though we are only an indie developer struggling financially (actually losing money just to keep the project alive) We still believe in the project and will ship it once it's complete and ready, so that we will attract more fans and continue to build a legacy along with future episodes.

With future episodes in mind, we are adjusting our Roadmap so that we can adaptively add on our other features and storylines that will further improve the overall gameplay experience.




It's not a big secret, but we are utilizing the Unity engine, and now with the latest updates provided will allow for overall increased frame rates and improved graphics fidelity. Expect larger and more realistic looking asteroids to prospect, mine and survive...


During our time, we have once again rethought about how our storyline and narrative will work within our roadmap to shipping Episode one of ARM: Planetary Prospectors. (more details in the link below)





A bit of a heads up, if you haven't purchased the game already, now is a Great deal, because the price will be going up substantially as advised by our CFO, so we can deliver a more polished and well-crafted experience.


Even though we are still in pre-Alpha, early access, we are planning a future Kickstarter and would like your support, even if it's sharing and spreading the word. Early adaptors will still have everything and more, we won't forget about you. We still need your support and feedback.

New Patch coming very soon! MAJOR UPDATE work in PROGRESS & Intel Tests

SPACE PIRATES will only appear in EP1 onward...



Greetings Community, reporting that are team is busy working on a new Major update. Apologies for the delay, as our developers can only work PT as they are working Full-time at other jobs. Our Mission is to deliever a fun and immersive space mining flight simulator.

We want to ask the Community about our space pirates, have you encountered them yet? Did you pay their bribe, or did you try to outrun or engage them head on? Currently the MRRM may still not be powerful enough to fight the pirates head-on. This however might change in future episodes. We will also have it so the MRRM can sneak up behide past its sensors, in order to jack the pirate of its booty.

In other news, we are getting more testing support from our Partner at Intel

The next update we will address the many crashes that have been reported.

We are still looking into the issue, why the graphics don't look as good on some cards, it appears low res and not as colorful.

Launch delayed Re-scope and Focusing on Episode Zero



Greetings Space Miners, due to Community feedback, our limited resources its been decided that the best thing for us now is to deliver Episode Zero the Prologue. Which will be the story about the Space Miners working their jobs just outside of Earth's Orbit. The player learns through a more advanced Tutorial how to operate the MRRM (Mining Rescue Repair Mech) which has been a major complaint from the Community.

Keeping it simple the player will learn to navigate and operate the Mech so they can be trained and properly mine asteroids for minerals. Then use the credits to upgrade the MRRM.

[Spolier Alert]

Near the end of Episode One, Space Command identifies a radio signal anomaly coming from an oddly shaped asteroid just outside the asteroid and debris belt. The asteroid mining crew is assigned to investigate on a xeno- archeological expedition.

The asteroid is massive and is made of some strange synthetic metallic material, that our rock and ice lasers have a null effect on. Even a Level 3 Drill, fully upgraded has no effect on the metallic surface and even breaks with prolonged use.

A last one of the space mining crew members finds a crack in the armor so to speak. Ricky Raye finds an opening that is blocked frozen with ice. The player is then instructed to use the Ice Laser to melt away the blockage, so the crew can journey inside the asteroid.

The crew enters the dark and eerie cavern, as they navigate they begin to discover that it appears to be some markings on the walls from some unknown alien race. Some distance sounds of scratching and crunching are heard coming from the center of the asteroid, which seems to be hollowed out to be a sort of alien temple.

A low pitch hum, followed by the scurrying of something looking like an arachnid scurries off into a crevice once the spotlights reveal around a dark corner...The Captain back at Mission Control then tells the crew to use their Rock Drills on the crevice to create an opening. Reluctantly the crew begins to chip away at the rock debris blocking the path...

Once the rock debris has been cleared, a bright light coming from the center of a shrine with a bright glowing object that looks like an alien amulet, shimmering with different types of lights and colors never seen before.

Ricky Raye "Are you getting this Capt? It looks like some type of ancient alien temple with some type of shiny amulet that is creating the disruption signal."

Capt. "Get in for a closer look! That thing might be priceless, and that means we can all retire early."

As the crew flies towards the glowing amulet, electrical malfunctions begin to increasing effect the MRRM and begins shutting down systems.

Ricky Raye "Boss this doesn't look good, I'm picking up massive electronic interference and some of my systems are shutting down, abort mission??"

Capt. "Negative, get close enough and carefully grab that alien artifact with the CLAW"

The player is then instructed to get close enough and grab the alien artifact with the CLAW attached to the ARM.

Just as the player grabs the alien amulet, a bright light erupts, followed by a portal opening up, pulling and sucking the crew into the portal...

End of Episode ZERO: Prologue


Episode ONE starts (essentially what we have now on Steam Early Access)

The player wakes up in another alien dimension, captured by the alien AI Xterminator Sentry, as they begin to realize and piece back what had just happened.

The crew is captured and forced to be asteroid mining slaves, controlled by the advanced alien AI...now they must discover and work as a team to find a way out fo the mining barge prison. Find and recover the amulet, so they can find a way back to their home dimension, back to Earth, back to see their friends and families.



We really want to hear from our community about these changes, since we are still in Early Access, we have the time to adjust and make the changes.

Live Long, and Mine Asteroids!

ARM Alive! on Life Support after taking some hits! Repairs then Launch

Greetings enlighten Community, even our haters that gave us a negative review, we will hopefully, in time will meet your expectations and then in return your review will become a Positive. As it may sound like a Conspiracy theory, although, why do we only have 23 reviews and how little sales we had since our Launch date over a year ago. Sale or coverage, barely anything, most games get more coverage and exposer in the first Month or so. It's almost like something more NEFARIOUS is going on here, such as suppression of information amongst other antics. I'm not blaming Valve or any company, as we don't have any evidence other than usually low traffic. Maybe in part due to our lack of indie marketing experience, still seems odd from this perspective. Almost like a shroud of media blackout, or perhaps something more sinister, manipulating and pulling the strings...?

Joking aside, It's Actually all part of a more complex charade, meta-connectivity to the Psychological Sci-Fi Thriller motive, rather than attempting cheap, cheesy Horror jump scares. I encourage the Community to startup conversations about types of Psychological storytelling seen in Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid. We have some different ideas on where we take the characters and the different types of relationships they can have with each other, and how they can be socially engineered and manipulated, against or together to achieve goals. Nothing is final in the game, we can adapt and make changes.

NDi's team and work Philosophies are similar and inline with the likes of Valve's leaked Employee's Handbook and Blizzard's credo.


Hence we are still in Early Access, and will continue to be in this stage until myself, NDi Crew and the NDi Community are ready to Launch, be proud of what we made together as a combined united collective to improve the Quality of ARM Planetary Prospectors EP1 making it a smashing hit, with a chance to win some Awards.

As our small Indie Developer Spacecraft, pivots and and readjusts calibrations, sets a final coarse and destination for our road map to Final Launch EP1.

Some of our devs are teaching or working FT at other developers, thus making our progress much slower only being able to work PT at this point in time. We are looking to spread the workload around more, so we can have ARM completed to spec, sooner. We are reaching out to fill roles within the company, that we are sharing with the founders, and the future founders.

Unfortunately NDi has suffered some impacts from false DMCA claims, and invalid Copyright infringement claims, that led to legal matters that unknowingly took way from our development time and resources. Financially due to low sales and lack of exposer, making our sales very low and unable to pay the developers at this time. Instead stock, and IOU's were arranged. Some devs had to take other positions at other companies, plus many other issues that nearly grounded ARM indefinitely. Once our sales increase we will then be able to pay our developers and produce future sequels and other projects in the works.


Some pieces are still missing, some content not complete, with bugs to fix, however, now a clearer, more precise creative vision is developing based on constant community feedback and developer iterations.

Our company NDi's Goal is to succeed in making a memorable gaming Masterpiece that will withhold the test of time, and be mentioned as a Future Classic, in the Smithsonian next to other Video Game works of Art. Patches & another Update on the way Lets get Ship Shape for Launch day!

Hi Community, some of our team members are working hard on polishing the early access so that we can release episode one for our fans.

We have reports some have a bug that has been stopping progress. If you do, please post on the forums or email support, better yet please press the R button to send a screenshot and write a brief report, so then we can track and fix the issue easily.

Our goal is to wrap up the condensed version of EP1 so we can turn it into a sales success, so we can then continue on with EP2 and later future EP3.

Please be patience and stay active in the community and play regularly while reporting bugs.

Patches will be coming over the next few days, and expect the next update sometime in the following months.

The next Update will have a present surprise and might be our final updates before Final release

We need feedback to make the game better, send in your reports and gain awards for helping the dev team.

Major Gameplay & Graphics UPDATE! MASSIVE OVERHAUL!

Greetings community, we have been noticing, complaints about crashes & bad graphics, and now we're getting negative reviews. We have solutions for this, and other bug fixes in the coming weeks. We please ask our community to wait till the next update, as it is not as intended. These updates will be ongoing, for as long as we have support in our community. Even if it takes between 5-10 years to make 9.5/10 then it would be worth it to spend 20 years making interactions to have a perfect 10/10


We will be continuing to work hard on this project, even though some of our team members are only working part time, as they also teach and work full time in the industry.

Please be patient and continue to support our indie team, as we want to win awards and expand our business to include our community.

We want to hear your feedback and suggestions so we can fix or change things so that the game is better and more enjoyable. Work with us by finding bugs and report them with the Report Tool (Press R)

Awards will be given to community members for mining asteroids, finding bugs, suggesting game ideas etc in the exclusive community that works closely with the developers.

Next Major update AI improved HTC Vive support, bug fixes and more!

Hello community, in our next update we will have a newly improved mining barge, HTC Vive Support, improved spaced pirates that will hunt the player down for minerals and items.

The newly improved merchant trader that will craft and trade rare items, depending on the minerals the player collects.

There are still many features, and styles, storyline that we are working with the community to build the most enjoyable experience.


We will support HTC Vive in the next update, allowing the use of the HMD, however not fully supported with room tracking or controls. Current recommended controls are mouse/keyboard and Xbox Controller, or HOTAS.

Our apologies as we don't have someone working with the community full-time, and we are looking for a community manager. If you know someone interested, message us.

We have started talking with some new investors while preparing our Early Access demo to show to Publishers.

Remember early adopters who have this game already, and before we launch ARM EP1 Final will also receive a complimentary Steam key for EP2.

We will continue to support ARM for years to come, Thanks for your support.

UPDATE after ordeal systems Back ONLINE

Hi Community,

It may seem like our ship may have malfunctioned and was blown out of the air, but we have regain control and adjusting coarse set to finalize for Episode one. We had some issues where our developer server was hacked and we nearly lost everything. Luckily we were with a bit of work, we were able to bring back ARM in its new form that has it inside a Prison Mining Barge. We are going with a much darker tone, and giving a miners perspective, that's duty is search and scavenge for minerals while avoiding detection of pirates and other entities. Risk wandering further into the belt for greater rewards, and risk being captured....just a few of the many changes major and subtle that continue to change over time, and with the feedback and input from the community. If you don't like something, make a report and we will fix it. Make a suggestion, and we will do our best to make it happen. We want our community to help shape the game, you want play. Plus we will also be awarding community members for participation and skills contributed.





Players with better video cards can generate larger and denser asteroids, while slower video cards are optimized to only generate a few smaller ones. Like mining in real life, having better tools makes the job easier. This is a feature we continue to develop to provide more and larger sized asteroids and eventually fully destructible planet size asteroids, with atmosphere and some type of civilization. Of coarse this all takes time, and feedback from the community, we much rather take our time and craft a masterpiece.
