Did you know that As Dusk Falls features a Broadcast Mode for Twitch streamers?
Broadcast Mode allows streamers to play As Dusk Falls with their Twitch communities by letting viewers vote in chat on how the story goes.
How does it work?
Your viewers will be able to vote on choices via Twitch chat. Each choice will have a special number - in order to vote, users will have to enter the hashtag + number combo in the stream chat (e.g. #1, #2, etc.). As votes get counted, the viewers' usernames will briefly show up on screen - and the choice with the most votes will win.
You, as the host, are still required to complete all QTEs (Quick Time Events) and you can still override your communityâs choice!
How to set up Broadcast Mode
Once youâve launched the game, select New Story and tick the Broadcast mode option. Youâll be prompted to enter your Twitch name, and once done, you should receive a message that youâve connected your channel successfully! Simple!
Broadcast Mode + Local Co-Op Broadcast Mode is available with local co-op too! If you are playing locally with others, the broadcaster or any other local players can override the Twitch chatâs choices!

The Walkers reunited at the As Dusk Falls launch party
Yes, even our canine star Zeus! Zeus was played by the wonderful Jessie who, with a little help from treats and lots of cuddles, did a stellar job in her debut role!
And like a true film star, Jessie had her own stunt double who was used in most shoots with the cast while she performed her tricks in a private shoot. The amazing 2D team then splice the images together to use within the game.
As Dusk Falls blends hand-painted character frames â captured from real actors, high-quality 3D locations and cinematic cameras to create a unique aesthetic that allows for nuanced emotions and strong character moments.

This update provides a fix for multiplayer, resolution settings and High-res texture download.
Fixes:
Fixed multiplayer issue where players were unable to âGo Onlineâ and join online multiplayer lobbies.
Fixed issue where players were unable to change resolution settings.
Fixed High-Resolution Texture Pack not downloading on Steam.

As Dusk Falls is an interactive narrative for all levels of players, something meant to be experienced with a group. Inspired by prestige TV shows, the team at INTERIOR/NIGHT has crafted an uncompromising tale of family, resilience, and sacrifice. You will learn more about the Walker and Holt families and how their lives were destined to intersect. Youâll make choices within the game to navigate tough scenarios like a hostage negotiation, a robbery, family conflict, and more.
Choose who you want to play with With choice and consequence being a main theme in As Dusk Falls, multiplayer adds a unique twist. Lobbies support up to eight players at a time and can consist of online friends, couch co-op, or a mix of both! It is also cross-platform, so no matter where your friends are gaming, they will be able to join you. The multiplayer functionality in-game allows everyone to vote for the dialog or action they would like to see carried out within the game, and the most popular vote wins. You may not always get your way!
Choose how you want to play There are three modes to choose from in As Dusk Falls: Solo, Multiplayer, and Broadcast. Solo is for the players that want to be in total control of their own story and play through the game without input from others. Multiplayer mode allows you to create a lobby and invite up to seven others to play â online, couch co-op, or a mix. Broadcast mode connects to a Twitch account and allows the streamer to broadcast the game and their chat has the ability vote for options on screen. Votes will get tallied up in real time as they are entered in chat.
Choose your input device We wanted As Dusk Falls to be a story that people can enjoy with little to no gaming experience. This is why we created the As Dusk Falls Companion App, a free app available for iOS and Android devices. The Companion App works as an input device â control actions in game with a swipe on your phone. You must be connected to the same Wi-Fi that the game is running on and the game host must own a copy of the game.
However you choose to play As Dusk Falls, we hope the choices youâre compelled to make in-game spark conversations, reveal insights about yourself, and make you want to replay the story again and again to uncover vastly different outcomes for the characters and explore hidden nuances behind every decision.
