Hello everyone! We're excited to announce the latest developments in Athemore!
Localization Expansion: The long-awaited localization system has been successfully implemented, bringing support for Russian and German languages to Athemore. Stay tuned as we plan to introduce additional languages in the near future.
Codebase Overhaul: Over the past five months, we’ve been revamping the entire codebase of the game, ensuring smoother performance and enhanced gameplay experiences.
Moving forward, we have identified key areas for improvement in the near future:
Optimizing Lighting: Currently, the game renders all lights regardless of player’s view cone, resulting in performance issues. We're actively working on implementing a solution to cull unnecessary lights, which will significantly improve performance and reduce stuttering.
Dungeon Illumination: Regarding the darkness of the Dungeon, we're dedicated to enhancing the Dungeon experience by adjusting lighting to achieve optimal visibility without compromising atmosphere.
Game Menu Redesign: Recognizing the need for a more engaging and visually appealing interface, we're committed to revamping the Game Menu to provide a seamless and immersive user experience.
