Autopsy Simulator

Devlog #14 - WIP and Holiday Greetings!

Dear Pathomorphologists,

We are coming back to you with another Devlog!
We know you're looking forward to it and waiting for more information about release date, demo and other things related to Autopsy Simulator.

We would like to inform you that we will provide you with specific information after the New Year!

Meantime, we want to assure you that work on the game is going great, we are preparing for the stage of polishing the game.

We also want to show you some elements of the new mechanics, as you can see, in some of them the level of detail is increasing, we want the realism to be as high as possible.

Work in Progress

You can see us working on some level art posters

We have improved many objects in the game, for example the autopsy lamp

Here you can see the porter's window

And here is what we plan for it to look like

Fragment of one of the mechanics

Here's a quick preview of how the organs will deform

Of course, that's not all, we have a lot of things to show, some of them we don't want to show - you will see how cool the mechanics are in the game.

Finally, we would like to wish you a verry happy Holiday Season!

Devlog #13 - Lucky 13

Dear Pathomorphologists,

For those of you who have already thrown off your apron, don't put it down, because we have some good news from our dissecting room and you may need it!

Even though it's still August on the calendar, autumn weather is slowly creeping up on us. Well, not only us, because in Petesville, with our pathologist, the first cold rains are also making their mark.

Both, our team and doctor Jack Hanmann, have had our hands full all this time. Photographing corpses, looking for diatoms, centrifuging test tubes, injecting, cutting, stitching, and as a result ... vertical slice!

What else should you know?

Sweaty foreheads, dirty hands, but we are happy to officially announce that we have completed the next major milestone with the Autopsy Simulator project! Since the release of the demo, two more chapters have appeared in the project. We fixed bugs, polished the graphics, but more importantly, we conducted three detailed autopsies and... something unusual disturbed Jack Hanman's everyday life. Curious what happened?

A lot of solid work is behind us, but it's not time for a coffee break yet. We don't stop and keep on creating next chapters, bodies and mechanics to make the game that will be somewhat scary, sometimes disgusting, but definitely a unique experience.

So meanwhile, you new adepts of the art of studying the dead, use this time to get a solid grasp of anatomy, laboratory procedures, and… gag reflexes, so that you are ready for the ultimate test at the autopsy table.
And since we have broken this long sepulchral silence, as an apology, we're opening the dissecting room door a crack and posting some new screenshots from the game. Hope you like it!

Demo playtests are over!

After a week long trip through the dissecting room and learning about human body after death,

playtests of our demo are officially over.

We had over 40.500 players that took part in this short journey with us. We would like to thank everyone for their time, detailed feedback, help and support!
We appreciate everyone who filled out the short survey that we put at the end of our demo. We want you to know that all information is extremely useful for us and may help us make Autopsy Simulator better - and that's all for YOU!

We can't find words that would be good enough to express how happy we are to have such great pathomorphologists as you!

There's no doubt that having you with us in the dissecting room will help us solve even the most difficult cases in the future!

Here are the results of the tests we ran:

Please, don’t take your lab coats off yet… next chance to play our demo will be in February for Steam Next Fest!
