Just a quick announcement here. Update 42 is ready and waiting to be released. For whatever reason, Steamworks servers are not currently pushing the update through. My build however goes through, but this may cause your game to fail to launch if it attempted to install the update. If so, simply uninstall the game from your Steam library then reinstall it and this will fix it. Details regarding this update will come as soon as it is live. Cheers!
Hotfix 41
Hi eveyone! Just a quick hotfix here which was rather important. Somehow in update 40, if a leader was shot and killed in a station then the game would crash. This was NOT good! So this hotfix 41 is the result and it fixes it.
I want to menton there are still areas where empty placeholders exist, example the bars, and science labs to name a couple. These are here simply for future expansions or updates. Many of them maybe removed after the Ship Builders Expansion is released. Until next announcement, cheers!
Update 40 arrives!
Hi everyone! Back with this new update. Took a little longer then I originally expected but more was able to get put in. Most notably is the added temperament for creatures. It's a great change and eases the difficulty of creatures being so hostile all the time. Here are the details...
Avalon v10340
- All creatures now have a temperament and by default will be less
hostile
- Creatures are less likely to be hostile if a player is aligned more to
good (10 or higher). They are more likely to be hostile if a player is
aligned more to bad (-10 or lower)
- Added two new creatures, one for forest and another for alien
- Fixed bug which caused divers, oceanographers, and medics to train 2
instead of 1 in ship academy
- Security droids will no longer fire when far out of range
- Fixed issue in science labs where fossils and soil samples would not
show green price correctl.
- Fossil token icon has been changed to look more like fossils instead
of a poison symbol
- Fixed bug in quad fuel module where it would sometimes be lower then
the basic fuel module
- Fixed issue where upgrading to agricultural module or fuel module when
using shipyard coupon did not add the extra capacity
This wraps it up for now. I also want to mention there are peaks at some of the upcoming things in the Ship Builders Expansion within this update. Example, the items page and other areas you will notice new items indicating ship builders. News on the next update and upcoming Ship Builders expansion
Hi everyone! Here is a preview of what has went into the next update so far. More may make it's way in before the update is actually released. I am aiming for release of this update in approximately 2-3 weeks.

Next, the Ship Builders Expansion is coming along great! I am happy to say many planned features are already implemented and confirmed working. As of now there are 3 new factions/races, ability to take out loans, purchase starships, also more trade items, plus 10 new ship upgrades! Each of the new factions have their own unique starships and fighters. Below is a screenshot of just one of the new races, the Cyclopeans. It has been great seeing the new races in the game.
So this concludes this news update. As of now I don't have a release date yet on the expansion but when the store page goes live I should have an idea. Look for more announcements with even more details regarding the expansion with the next coming month. Ship Builders Expansion announced!

Hi everyone! So here comes some details of the dlc I had mentioned recently. Ship Builders is actually planned to be an expansion, it depends on how much can be packed into it prior to release. Rest assured it is all good stuff! Now on to just some of this good stuff...
This expansion will, for the first time, allow players to actually purchase Alliance ships. Not just any Alliance ships, all the ships from the Alliance catalog will be purchasable from non-combat ships to warships. There will be Ship Builders within stations. These are where players will actually go to purchase ships. Once owned players wil be able to receive benefits from these ships such as items, resources and other things. Anything collected will be transported to warehouses for players to be able to load directly on their ship. Players will also acquire certain expenses from owning these ships such as maintenence and repair. These ships will be extremely expensive but players will be able to, for the first time, visit banks which will allow them to take out loans.
Ok this is all the details I have so far and like I mentioned,it's just some of what to expect in this expansion. Also note the above screenshot of the fleet screen is early and likely to improve and change as more things are added. As more things get implemented and tested I will post more info here as I find out. Happy space travels!
Update 33 is now live!
Hi everyone, just warping in with an update here. I think it turned out fairly well. I managed to pack more into this update then what I originally planned. Full details below...
Avalon v10333
- Enhanced graphics with added shadowing on nearly all objects throughtout the entire game.
- Map Kiosks on space stations have been relocated to the top center just as they are on outposts.
- Arid moons have less flying creatures.
- More NPC types on stations and ships.
- Mousing over X on a planet surface or moon will now indicate that it's an artifact location.
- Mousing over stations, outposts or facilities in space or mini-map will now indicate the type of station or facility.
- Improved shield hit graphic and animation.
- As with all fighter groups, alien swarm fighter groups will now attack if hit by any player laser as intended.
- Other minor graphic enhancements such as flowers on forest or tropical planets and moons.

Update for 2019
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season! Just a quick announcement here of what is going on in the first week of 2019. First and foremost, thanks to everyone who purchased the game during the sales. I hope you all are enjoying it. Next there is another update currently in the works. Then there is one more dlc planned for the game although I don't have much details on it as of yet. Last I am planning a video which will cover how to effectively make a solid gc income by trading.

Autumn update 31 now live!
Coming in with an update here that addresses some issues and improves other things in both base game and some DLC's. Details as follows...
Avalon v1.0.3.31
- Distant planet surface backgrounds have been enhanced and now have more depth.
- New button graphics for main menu.
- Mean faces on scan screen now show dialog as intended.
- While moving on a planet in a rover or walking, simply placing mouse over a creature and right clicking will now fire weapons.
- Forest and tropical planets now have more trees.
Ocean Worlds DLC
- Improved submarine shuttle movement.
Moons DLC
- Moons are less populated for better balance. For example, less locations, lifeforms, artifacts and resources.
Planetary Facilities DLC
- The more medics onboard the player ship, the less the chance of a medical event occuring.
- Medical events and natural disasters will now only occure in space, on planets or stations and not on other screens.
- Fixed crash which occured when finding alien artifacts tokens.

Update 29 has warped in!
Coming back here with yet another update and sooner then I expected. I have never truely been satisfied with the scan screen in the game. It was something that has been on my list to redesign and improve for quite sometime now. Well that is now over because it has finally happened! I am happy with how it turned out and I hope you all are as well? Remember, I am not only the developer of the game, I am also a dedicated fan and player. So this is one thing that explains the numerous updates since the game has been released. So here are the details of this update and it's fairly hefty...
Avalon v10329
- Scan screen has been completely overhauled and greatly improved.
- Fixed animation flickering on some capital ships.
- Players now start with 8 leaders instead of 12.
- Resources, items and equipment found now account for cargo storage or launch bay as intended.
- Cargo bay no longer goes into the negative.
- Alien frigates and corvettes can now attack upon entry into a sector just as any other ship.
- Alien frigates, escorts (planetary facilities dlc) and corvettes now fire light lasers instead of medium lasers as listed in stats.
- Alien escorts (planetary facilities dlc) should now appear as intended.
- Alien escorts (planetary facilities dlc) stats have dropped to 2 hull points but increased to 3x light lasers.
- Lucicron mercer (planetary facilities dlc) now fires 2x light lasers as intended.
- Sylion pod carriers (moons dlc) are now armed with 2x light lasers.
- Fixed issue which caused no resources or artifacts to appear on ocean moons (ocean worlds dlc, moons dlc).

Mostly a cosmetic update here but a good one! Also some other neat things like being able to demand support from a ship. Check it out below...

- Fixed issue which sometimes caused off colors of certain planets.
Planetary Facilities DLC
- Decreased chance of a person getting sick onboard ship.
