Battle of the Bulge is updated to 1.36! And it now has Steam achievements!
We are releasing a new patch for Battle of the Bulge. Among many other minor changes (see below) we have added 31 achievements! Have fun!
Changelog:
- Luck of the Draw scenario repaired for Multiplayer. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to fix Luck of the Draw games that are already desynchronized.
- Axis pre-dawn turns spelling corrected.
- Plane incidental sounds will only be heard during clear weather days.
- Combat previews longer show 2 retreat chances next to another.
- Camera controller improved.
- Settings language selection will no longer overlap the close button.
- Computer opponent selection screen text display updated.
- Multiplayer notification overlay now fits to screen.
- Multiplayer game file size reduced by up to 75%.
- "Sorry we were unable to notify your opponent by e-mail it was their turn." - This error will no longer appear while uploading a Multiplayer turn, since the upload has been successful.
- Downloading a game after an opponent has claimed it will no longer cause a crash.
- Added an Exit to Main Menu button in the Multiplayer Chat panel, so that if an upload error occurs multiple times, the player will be able to exit the game normally.
- Fixed bug when Showing notifications while logging into Multiplayer.
- AI can no longer trigger combat after breakthrough.
- Commando will appear in Briefing only during the day it has been used.
- 1 SS Panzer Division starting strength in the Endgame scenario set to 3.
- The Endgame victory conditions revised.
- Tournament Bitter End score calculation fixed.
- Added a paper label popup with information about the commando phase.
- Fixed application freeze in tutorial when using non-English languages.
- Mobile units are now able to return to their original space in the same turn, if movement rules allow it.
- The game no longer permits an attack across a bridge from more than one space away unless there is already another friendly unit in the target space AT THE START OF THE TURN. (as stated in the rules)

Ah, spring! The perfect season for love, gardening, sport, and vanquishing your enemies in the new BATTLE OF THE BULGE SPRING CLASH TOURNAMENT!
It's true, we are launching a new tournament for Battle of the Bulge, a real Shenandoah classic. The last one was an exciting event, and we want to top that. Three ruthless rounds to determine who is going to be the champion of the Spring Clash (who, by the way, will win a voucher for our store).
The tournament will start with the first round next Monday April 3rd at 12 pm CET / 11 am GMT / 6 am EST, it will make use of our automatic PBEM++ Tournament system, therefore we'll use the Swiss tournament rules. It'll last three rounds - each player will have exactly 4 days of time to submit the entirety of their turns for the match. Each round will last exactly 10 days, after which the next round will begin. At the end of the third round, the player at the first position in the ranking will be proclaimed champion!

The Shenandoah turn-based masterpiece Drive on Moscow is coming to PC and Steam on 27th October! Time to start packing your winter clothes (unless you plan to be home by Christmas).
Drive on Moscow continues Shenandoah's approach to wargaming, representing military campaigns in a deep yet extremely accessible and fast paced way. Drive on Moscow is especially suited for multiplayer, and for the occasion we are bringing enhancements to it, implementing Slitherine's PBEM++ system and the Tournament system!
Drive on Moscow is an immediate, exciting and fast paced strategy game set in 1941, with the German Wehrmacht making a push for the capital of the Soviet Union. It was previously available only on iPad, but it’s being ported to PC and upgraded with many new features for the occasion!
The game puts you in charge of either the Wehrmacht or the Red Army. In the winter of 1941, the key to the war is Moscow. Were it to fall, the Soviet Union would receive such a huge blow that it might not recover. But were it to stand, maybe the Russians will be able to reverse the tide…
Sporting an incredible impulse-based turn activation system, the gameplay revolves around decisive initiative, clever timing and exploiting the weather and the terrain. Weather in particular is crucial: it affects the dynamic map, and even the turns’ duration!
The game is being upgraded with a new Live PBEM system, implementation of Slitherine’s Tournament system, as well as a greatly enhanced AI! Drive on Moscow is being improved greatly in both single and multiplayer. The addition of the tournament system in particular will allow us to organize tournaments in the future: you’ll have the chance to win glory on the battlefield (as well as some nice prizes!).

Battle of the Bulge 1.19 patch!
Hello everyone!
We are releasing a minor patch for Battle of the Bulge, bringing the game to 1.19, fixing a few bugs and implementing the messaging system.
Changelog:
Game fixes:
- Wrong replacements numbers fixed.
- iOS map zoom runs smoother.
- iOS sound problems fixed.
- Mac corrupted icon fixed.
- Mac intro video working.
- Tiles now change their owner correctly if the units are vanquished during night phase, because of isolation effects.
- PBEM urls updated.
- Most of the Multiplayer desynchronizations fixed.
- You are no longer allowed to close the Chat panel at the end of the turn by accidentally hitting "Esc" button.
- You should now be able to see the Combat Legend panel in tutorial.
- Axis units that are isolated at the end of 28th December are now considered destroyed, as stated in the rules.
- Tweaked tournament scores.
- Reinforcements are no longer displaced on friendly but contested spaces, as stated in the rules.
- Air support icon is now displayed in the combat preview.
- Turn indicator during combat bug fixed (this also caused team switch bugs).
- Resign when other player is taking his turn bug.
- Combat half infantry elite defense bonus applies correctly now.
- Tournament scores calculation updated.
Game features added:
- Messaging system.
- Added a desynchronization checker for multiplayer, with the Restart option, which should fix the game state.
