Bear Launch Imminent & Delete your Old Save Data!
Hello Bearthusiasts!
Welcome to Hot Bear Week™ everyone! We are incredibly excited for Bear and Breakfast to launch tomorrow, in less than 24 hours!
While we wait for the green light, we'll need to do a little spring cleaning!
If you played the Bear and Breakfast Demo on Steam during the Next Fest in 2021, or helped test or preview an older build of the game, you will need to delete all of your old Save and Player data from the local folder on your computer.
Where USER is replaced by your actual username on Windows, so it might look like this: C:\Users\BearComputer\AppData\LocalLow\GummyCat\BearAndBreakfast
Once found, please delete everything inside the BearAndBreakfast folder before starting the game on the 1.0 version!

Behind the Sounds of Bear and Breakfast
Hello bear friends!
Bear and Breakfast is 9 days away!!
Thank you for being along for the ride as we rapidly tumble towards the last week before our little bear game launches.
Today, the gorgeous folks from Blipsounds (who designed all the sounds from Bear and Breakfast) have made a behind the scenes video showing off how they made some of the audio choices and sounds in the game.
It's a short but sweet and eternally fascinating watch!
We also have a quick update regarding Controller Support for the game.
We recently realized that the way the game played using a Controller was sub-par to what we'd like the experience to be, so we've decided to keep working on Controller Support for a little while longer. You'll still be able to play the game with Mouse and Keyboard at launch, and we hope to roll out an update with polished controller support sometime soon, within the next couple of months at most.

Bear and Breakfast is releasing on July 28th!
You heard it right! Bear and Breakfast has a release date!
If you didn't already hear the news during Day of the Devs today, we're so happy to announce that Bear and Breakfast is officially releasing on Steam on July 28th! This news even comes with a shiny new trailer animated by the endlessly talented Remus & Kiki. Watch it on YouTube when you get the chance:
Not to mention this announcement comes paired with brand-new key art by visual development extraordinaire Jacki Li, who we couldn't have been luckier to work with.
It's been almost two years since we first announced our lil bear game, and we are so excited to finally share it with you all soon. Whether you have supported us from the beginning or you just started following our game's development more recently, thank you beary much for being there for us.
We hope to see you check-in at Pinefall Resort next month!

Happy Fat Bear Week, everyone! We're celebrating in the best way possible by bringing the Bear and Breakfast demo back to Steam until October 11!
We know a bunch of you missed out on it the first time or just didn't get to spend as much time as you'd like playing it, so we wanted to give everyone another chance to try it out. It's the same exact demo as before—and with the same bugs, but your feedback was so helpful last time the team is looking into fixing these problems for the final release next year. (Don't worry, we're still planning a private beta sometime in the future.) If you're a returning player, your saves from last time should still work, too.
