We’re continuing to improve the user interface for the hand powers to make it more intuitive. After watching some players thrash their arms about wildly, we decided to make the wrist flick action simpler. Instead of having to gaze at your hands, you can now simply flick your wrists anytime (except when you’re holding an object or dragon) to switch powers.
Please read on for more UI fixes:
Powers
Simplified power change to use a simple wrist flick without gazing.
Telekinesis works more like other powers by activating and deactivating with touchpad and not trigger.

Patch Notes for v0.24.0
Fear not -- the baby dragons will no longer swarm you as of this update!
We changed the pacing of the onboarding tutorial in Beast Park by breaking it up into multiple stages and spreading it out over the whole area. The appearances of the dragons have also been spread out so they’re less in-your-face. For those of you who actually enjoy getting face-mauled by cute flying animals, you can still lure them over with the whistle. Speaking of which, the whistle and throwing balls are also now part of the tutorial.
Tutorial
Split tutorial into multiple stages and placed gem spawners in different locations for self paced progression.
A teleport orb will appear after each tutorial stage is cleared; grab it to move to the next stage.
Added whistle to the tutorial, hold it near your mouth to call nearby dragons.
Added more stages to tutorial for smoother onboarding.
Spaced out appearance of gems and dragons so fewer things are happening at once.
Shrunk some dragons down by 5% and changed their appearance order.
Added throwing balls to the tutorial -- grab the ball and place it in your pocket by following the connected lines to make unlimited copies you can throw.
General
Added teleport ring effect on the ground after teleporting.
Adjusted sensitivity of wrist flick for switching powers.
Added faint arrows if hand is not held still enough.
Moved the controller gaze tracking center to the center of the palm for switching powers.
Improved analytics and event tracking
Various bug fixes and performance improvements
Patch Notes for v0.23.0
The two big changes for this update are focused on making your powers more intuitive. We added symbols to identify all the different powers and we’ve changed the default power switching action from swiping on the touchpad to flicking your wrist while looking at your hand.
Powers
Added symbols to each power that initially float over each gem or displayed on the back of each hand.
Added wrist flick for changing powers! Simply look at either wrist while holding your hand still, then flick your wrist in either direction.
During tutorial if powers need to change, the wristband will jostle around.
Thumb swiping to switch powers still works but now requires larger, more deliberate swipes.
Added new poses for Telekinesis when pointing at a target and grabbing from a distance.
Added a line connecting to object grabbed by Telekinesis.
Tooltips for powers appear after looking at a hand for 5 seconds.
Tooltips for powers no longer pop up when switching powers, unless already active.
Beast Park
Updated instructions banner with new controls.
General
Ungrabbed gems will pulse and ding periodically.
Improved analytics and event tracking
Various bug fixes and performance improvements
