New version release 1.2.1

A brand new version has just been released! ːsteamhappyː
Several new epics, a new story episode, and a bunch of additions.

* A new story episode is available!

* Mutator epics
** Mutator epics let creators alter the behaviour of Mitsu's core abilities
** Active mutators will show for the players in the lower right corner, and will optionally play a sound effect when activated
** Can be instantly activated when entering the adventure, or by triggers while playing
** Available only from the 3rd floor
** The jump mutator:
*** Disable jumps completely, reduce the height of jumps, increase the height of jumps, make jumps insanely high
** The sword mutator:
*** Disable sword attacks completely, make swords stun instead of damage, make sword attacks insta-kill enemies
** The Kunai mutator:
*** Disable Kunais completely, make Kunais damage instead of stun, make Kunais insta-kill enemies
** The run mutator:
*** Disable running completely, make running much faster
** The dash mutator:
*** Disable dashes completely, double the length of all dashes, remove the cooldown of dashes

* Instant Shift epic
** Instantly relocates the player to a specific location around the adventure using a trigger
** Can be set to have a normal teleport transition effect, or no effects at all
** Will heal/revive Mitsu
** The shift will not occur if the target location is obstructed or if Mitsu is mounted

* New Halloween themed pickups! You can find them in the Magical section.

* Pickups now have a smaller collision in the editor, letting creators overlap them a bit more with each other.

* Pine gates can now be placed on castle walls, in which case they will turn into castle gates.

* You can now skip the intro clip with a right mouse click.

New version release 1.1.4

This time, we are adding an item that will help creators control the health of players a bit more, as well as nerfing the Marauder somewhat and fixing it a bit.

New Features

* New epic item - Heal pack!
** Sets to heal either Mitsu or a mount
** Can be respawned
** Will not be picked up if Mitsu or the mount are at full health
** Mitsu healing will not show while in mount mode, and vice versa

* Tion Marauder changes
** Health reduced to 5, will now be marked with wrenches
** The Marauder now has a larger explosion radius upon death (which kills anything, including Mitsu)
** Missiles will now only do 1 damage (instead of insta-killing) - But will be fired more rapidly
** A (very short) countdown will now show when the mount calls you to eject
** The instructions panel can now be hidden by pressing X
** Death trigger can now be configured, that will activate once the mount explodes

Bug Fixes

* No more glorious endless explosions when a mount with a respawn color dies

* Deaths from the Marauder will now be correctly labeled on death swords and death messages

New version release 1.1.3

In this version we introduce the first mountable item in Kryll - The Tion Marauder!
Apart from that (and the whole new mount system) there are several more fixes and additions.

New Features

* The Tion Marauder is here!
** This is the first mount that Mitsu can use!
** Dash into the Marauder to take control, the instructions on how to use it will show
** Mounts have a separate health bar, and will not regenerate health via spawn points
** You can link a mount to a respawn color, to respawn it (It will not respawn if it is currently in use)
** The Marauder is extremely powerful and durable, but lacks manoeuvrability
** While inside a mount Mitsu cannot perform some specific tasks (Such as praying at shrines or talking to NPCs)

* Added a few new pickup/decoration items

* It is now possible to use the sandbox even if you have an adventure under construction.
** To do that, press Ctrl+S while in the map (tooltips mention that)
** You cannot enter the sandbox while inside the editor - Only while playing normally

Bug Fixes

* Pasting text into the game (chat / editor textboxes) works again

* Cadmeon which changed its horizontal/vertical direction with nudges would not reset correctly after respawning

* Kunais will now never 'skip' musical notes when activating them in a row

* The world map's info overlay will not show ranks for the training areas

Name changing is now possible!

Due to high demand, we have implemented account name changing.

To change your name, simply log in to the site (You can do that by clicking on the avatar icon in your player panel) - and from the Profile tab you can choose to change your name.

Please notice that you can only change your account name once currently, so it will not be abused. (We may implement extra name changes in the future under certain conditions).

New version release 1.0.9

This time we greatly improved the gamepad support (you can even use the editor with a controller now! Even though the mouse will still be superior for it), and also added a few interesting features and fixes.
Don't hurt too many snow bunnies!

New Features

* Better gamepad support!
** The left analogue stick will now work as well as the D-Pad
** You can now also emulate the mouse using the controller!
*** R-Stick will move the mouse cursor
*** The left shoulder buttons (LT/LB) will left-click/right-click
*** R3 will also left-click
** A controller layout schematic was added to show how to play using a controller
*** You can see it via the 'Control scheme' button in the player panel (at the bottom of the player panel)
** Please let us know if you wish more functions to be mapped to other controller buttons

* Automatic death swords
** Players will now randomly leave death swords about why they died for other players to see
** You will not see your own automatic death swords (you will see the sword as usual, but not the message from it)
** These death swords will not be marked as prominently as the normal death-notes
** There are many limitations to placing automatic swords, so they will only appear sporadically and not overwhelm the world
** Naturally, death-note swords have a much higher priority then these swords

* New tileset - Snowy fields
** You can find it in the epics panel
** The matching snowy cavern was added to the nature background color palette
** Comes with a matching snow bunny!

* The Takara forest and Sapphire caverns shrines can now be placed on any terrain

* The locking feature (The yellow lock on the bottom bar) will now only be available after completing at least 4 adventures

Bug Fixes

* Death notes that players added did not show for them until they restarted the game

* The race music kept playing after teleporting to a new place during an ongoing race

* The "Barrier smasher" achievement was awarded at the wrong time

* The training areas were showing ranks and guestbook posts on the map in certain situations

* Various spelling fixes

More fine tuning and additions, moderation tools, some bug fixes and a brand new intro!

New Features

* Guestbook moderation tools
** It is now possible to delete unwanted guestbook posts
** Deleted guestbook posts will not be completely removed, and will show who deleted them
** Only these people can delete guestbook posts:
*** Players can delete their own posts
*** Adventure owners can delete any post in their own adventures

* New intro clip!
** Will show before the login screen
** Can be skipped by pressing ESC

* Improvements to the map
** We noticed that some players miss the ability to teleport to an entrance of an adventure, so we changed the button a bit
*** It was split to two buttons - 'Teleport to shrine' and 'Teleport to entrance'
*** The art better reflects the function of the buttons
** The map cursor will turn red if it hovers above a place which cannot be teleported to
** The map tutorial now explains about zooming in/out

* Chat behaviour for over-crowded rooms
** An over-crowded chat room is a room with more then 10 players in it
** When entering an over-crowded room, only the amount of players in it will show and not their names
** '/who' will still show the complete list of players
** Enter/Leave messages will automatically be silenced and hidden when the room is over-crowded
*** Opening the chat will still show those messages
** This applies to all types of chat rooms - Local chat, General, Private rooms etc...

* The Below Kryll logo on the login screen now appears... better

* The death count will now show in the player panel

* Shortened the gold for praying indicator at the top right corner

* NPC changes
** Some NPCs were recolored to better reflect their portraits
** The businessman is actually wearing a suit with a tie now
** The scientist's blush portrait was altered a bit

* The tutorial is now called training, and was changed in all the relevant places

Bug Fixes

* Piko plants will show their colors based on true RGB values
** The default green plant color will not be harmed in any way
** The other colors will be much darker now due to the new calculations
*** This was not an easy decision to make, since it changes existing Piko plants around the world - But since we are just before release, we decided to do it for the future!

* Initiating a dialog with an NPC and pressing TAB at the same time will now close the dialog correctly

New version release 0.6.0b

Art, art, art!
This time we have improved the dialogs appearance and portraits of all the characters in the game, as well as a brand new splash screen and logo design.
Even more music tracks have been added, and some more fixes and additions as we get even closer to the release date!

New Features

* New dialogs look and portraits
** Brand new high detailed art for all the characters in the game!
** Dialogs received a major 'facelift', and now look better and their animations are much smoother
** A new 'Expression effect' feature added, letting creators give a bit more life to chosen dialog lines
*** 'Emphasize' will make the character bounce a bit, emphasizing their current dialog
*** 'Get farther' will make the character move backwards, as if getting farther from the person they speak to
*** 'Get closer' will make the character advance forward, as if getting closer to the person they speak to
*** 'Shaking' will make the character constantly shake

* New splash screen and logo!
** The splash screen now transitions better into the game
** We will gradually add all these new assets to Steam, our website, etc...

* Pickup look picker enhancements/fixes
** Added a button that links to the forum post about contributing images and descriptions
** Will now behave normally if opened while in inspect mode
** The mouse cursor will now always be normal when using the pickup look picker

* Music additions
** New sad music that plays while you are dead
** New map music that plays while using the map/search

* Executable only: Music will now be stored locally and not stream from the server
** This addition will NOT update automatically, though it will fall back on streaming if the music is not found locally
** To update your version to get music locally, you will need to re-download the game from scratch
*** In steam, you can 'remove local content' and install the game again
*** If you are using the normal executable version, you can re-download it from the website

* The login screen has been made simpler to understand
** MOTD is gone
** The trailer clip will no longer play there
** New logo!

* Mitsu and the NPCs have been tanning a bit, and are now more saturated

* Changed the icon of the game :)

Bug Fixes

* Being invincible while going into the void will no longer save you from death

* The teaser image will no longer be selectable and copyable
** When attempting to edit an adventure that was already published with multiple teaser images, all will be removed but one

* Open tutorials will now be correctly closed when entering the editor

* The Ticks mode timer continued ticking even while the game was paused

* Incognito mode label was showing after leaving the login screen

* The exploration bonus in the character sheet would sometimes indicate remaining time for the bonus while it was already available

* It is now possible to background-draw on the very bottom line of an adventure (Kudos on the biggest background painting around Kryll, mostro!)
