Crew Medals, Levelling Changes and more - v0.5.2

We just released a new update for Between the Stars!
These are the main features you'll find:
Medals
Now you can award your crew members with medals. The medals will be unlocked through achievements that your crew members reach (enemy kills, looted ships, earned credits...). These achievements are individually obtained per crew member. We have created a lot of medals with different bonuses and milestones. In total there are 58 medals, with multiple levels (bronze, silver, gold).
Captain and Crew level balance and bonuses
We have revised all bonuses and balanced the crew members and their levels. Now, captain and crew will be able to reach level 20 instead of 10. We have readjusted the speed at which experience is gained.
Special skills depending on class in dice combats
We have added special abilities in the dice battles according to the crew member's class. Specialists do 2 points of damage. Engineers provide additional action points. Scientists grant extra shields to the crew when the dice roll is a defensive roll.
New secondary events
We have added multiple new secondary storylines to the game.
New research system
We have modified the weapons research system. Now weapons will no longer be destroyed to research blueprints, instead, blueprint parts will be found in the loot of enemy ships. Any weapon of which we have any blueprint part can be researched, but if we have few blueprint parts, the research may fail.
New UI for planets and station
We have added a new UI for both planets and stations in order to facilitate navigation between their locations.
Russian Localization News
We're glad to let Russian players know that we're currently working on the translation of Between the Stars to Russian. This update translates the whole UI to Russian, and we're working to translate the events as soon as possible!

We've added the medal system. The new system allows you to award medals to each crew member that are unlocked by personal achievements reached by each crew member.

The research system has been modified.
The player can research any weapon if it has at least one blueprint part. Depending on the parts obtained and the capabilities of the scientists, the research will have more chances of success.
Weapons can no longer be destroyed in exchange for a blueprint part in the research lab.
Now there are possibilities to obtain blueprints from destroyed enemy ships.
Now, researches cost credits.
Stations now sell blueprint parts, but not complete blueprints.
The UI of planets, stations and the internal view of the ship has been modified.
Crew members and the captain now have a maximum level of 20.
