New PvP map!



Good day to you, officers!
Today we are bringing in some wonderful news for PvP-lovers.

In nearest future, one more skirmish map will be added to the game!



Today we will give you a sneak-peak at how it looks like.
The new map is called "Mountain waterfall". Its main feature is two absolutely different neighboring climate zones. One side of the map is covered with snow, and the other one has already entered springtime.

The snowy CP is situated in a small Russian village with corresponding architecture.



The spring CP's look is more European, and a picturesque waterfall lies not so far from it.



Third CP in the center of the map is surrounded by the woods, providing a nice cover for your infantry units.



Altogether, landscape features of this map will make the skirmishes on it challenging and appealing to the eye. We hope that you will enjoy fighting on it!



P.S. As a small shout-out to our PvE community, we have something incoming for you, too. Stay tuned to read about the upcoming missions first!

Technical Patch №11



What's new:


1. Implemented time indication to the game chat.

2. Now when we will be shutting our servers down for maintenance works, you will receive an ingame pop-up about it.

3. Now you will be able to skip tutorial even without completing the first mission.

4. Redesigned Unit Info screen.
Now it will be more comfortable for you to see all the characteristics at once.



5. Added Ukranian localization!

6. Custom game and Battle reports have switched places.
Now Custom game can be found in the menu and Battle reports can be spotted on the globe.

Fixed issues:


1. Optimised memory usage.
This should help prevent many cases when you could receive an "Oops! The game is crashed" error.

Demo available!



Good day to you, recruits!

Today we are launching Blitzkrieg 3 Demo Version.


Demo Version will allow you to experience many features from the full version to make up your mind about the game.

What is available in the Demo:



1) 21 full-blown missions (7 for each faction in the game) out of 68 available in full version



2) Access to one of the game's PvP modes - Skirmish (1x1, 2x2 and 3x3)


This classic to RTS mode is the only place where you will be able to receive rewards for winning. The only exception is rewards granted for completing missions.

3) Full unit park of the game


You will be able to command all units from the full version! To receive access to units from Era 2 and Era 3, you need to move up in our ranking system. You can receive new ranks through fighting in Skirmish battles.

4) Ability to fight versus Boris


Boris is our neural artificial intelligence that learns from you, our players, on how to build his tactics! Boris is a very interesting enemy since he never plays the same, yet never uses any unfair information. He plays like a real player!
Please keep in mind that in the Demo version you won't get any rewards for winning against him. But, through these fights, your units will gain experience and you will also get research points using which you will be able to improve your army.

5) Custom game mode


In Custom game you will be able to team up with those you want to play with and against with, choose the map you like to fight on and etc.

We hope that bringing up the Demo Version will make you interested in the game. This is a great opportunity for you to try Blitzkrieg 3 out before purchasing. Try every aspect of the game: PvE, PvP, Boris and Custom game!

Go through the legendary battles of Second World War and be victorious!

Technical Patch №10



Fixed issues:



1. General:


1) Fixed Errorcode_invalidversion error.
2) Fixed Login as Username issue.
3) For some players loading of missions or PvP stuck on 50% sometimes. We got rid of this problem :)
4) Fixed an issue which made the "In Battle!" button work incorrectly sometimes.
5) Multiple sound errors fixed.
6) Lots of work put into the stabilization of the server connection, which should lead to visual improvement of loading times (missions, PvP, even replays), and lags and freezes should be appearing less often.
7) Fixed an issue due to which units were coming in as reserves not in from maximum to minimum level order, but in a random one.

2. PvE


1) In "An unexpected encounter" mission the priority of tasks has been changed.
2) Fixed the issue with infantry units lost counter in "Operation Compass".
3) Fixed an error due to which if you've lost in the second part of the "March on Berlin" mission, "Epilogue", you were automatically brought back to the globe.
4) Fixed a bug in "Operation Dragoon" due to which the coastal gun could not shoot where you pointed it to.
5) Fixed an error due to which if you loaded a save made on the second part of the "March on Berlin" mission you could not receive an achievement for completing USSR campaign.

3. PvP


1) Now if you somehow got disconnected from skirmish battle and reconnected to the game, you won't be considered a loser and be able to play further.
2) Fixed an issue due to which all filter set up in Custom game got lost if you clicked on "Update" button.
3) Now, users, which are in a squad, can not fight in different battles at a time.
4) Fixed an issue due to which a player which did not take his place in a Custom game lobby could not join any other lobby later.

Changes:


1) Now, when fighting versus AI, the side your units will be spawned at will be randomly assigned.
2) The timer was removed at the screen of choosing which units to be taken to battle vs Boris.
3) Characteristics of Sd.Kfz.231. have been changed.

New Skirmish map!



Greetings, officers!

We are happy to announce that we've added a new Skirmish map to the game!



The map is called "Normandy coast".
As it follows from its name, you are going to fight on the beautiful shore of the ocean on the north of France. Fierce fights have already taken their toll on these territories, as evidenced by fallen aircraft and sunken ships. But the war is not over yet.

On this map, one side will receive reinforcements from the ground, and the other from the sea. A long line of coastal defence lies between you and your opponent, where two irreconcilable forces clashed in battle previously. Do not let the efforts of your comrades be wasted!

There are lots of pillboxes and anti-aircraft guns left on the battlefield by enemy and allies which you can use to your advance. Moreover, you can find as many as 6 howitzers on the map, the capture of which will provide you tactical superiority.

This map is available only for 1x1 Skirmish battles at the moment.
In the foreseeable future, you will be able to play on it in the 2x2 and 3x3 Skirmish modes.

3 new missions!



Good day to you, officers!

THREE new missions are waiting for your attention right now!


What is more, these PvE scenarios are the first ones to have our neural artificial intelligence, Boris, as an opponent in them!

Boris is an interesting and dangerous enemy. He analyses each battle he fought to improve his strategy and plays differently all the time.

Look for “Dunkirk”, “Operation Dragoon” and “Breakthrough in the desert” on the globe. In the first two missions, you will fight for the Allies, and in the last one – for Germany.

To arouse the interest in these missions, here goes their description!

1) Dunkirk





After the breakthrough of the Maginot line on May 10, 1940, German command developed its success by blocking the Allied forces near the city of Dunkirk. It was time for the Allied forces to evacuate from the area - there was no chance to win or to launch an offensive against the troops of the Axis.
Thousands of British soldiers and their allies are now trapped on the banks of the English Channel. The trap of the Germans is ready to shut and murder many people. But the ships are ready to transfer the soldiers, and all they need is a cover.

You are the one responsible for providing support for the retreating soldiers and minimize Allied losses. The Salvation of those who will become the backbone of the Allied forces in the future rests on your shoulders.

2) Operation Dragoon





Operation Dragoon or Operation Anvil is one of the most glorious operations Allied forces had ever had. With minimum losses, Allies were able to free the south of France from the German occupation in a month.

On the 15h of August landing on the coast between Toulon and Cannes began. The goal your special forces are up to is to seize Marseille, a large seaport of a significant strategic importance.

Enemy forces did not have time to complete the construction of defensive structures, but the port and its harbor are covered with 280mm coastal guns fire. You have to break through the defense of the Germans and capture their coastal battery. This will help your troops to hold out until the reinforcements necessary for the liberation of the city arrive.

3) Breakthrough in the desert





During their offensive in North Africa, the Allied troops reached German supply line near El Alamein. It is vitally important to stop them and keep this sector under control: if your troops cannot hold the attack of the Allies, Axis countries’ army will find themselves without ammunition and provisions, without an ability to fight. Don’t let this happen – stand your ground till the very end!

Technical patch №9



What’s new:


1. We are introducing rank system into the game!
Ranks demonstrate your battle efficiency. You can level it up both in PvE and PvP. The higher your rank is, the more modern units you will receive for the wins.
This way, as soon as you unlock the Frontline and win a certain amount of times, you will be able to collect the whole unit park of the game and fight on other eras without completing the missions at all!
Receiving new ranks will also provide you an ability to purchase upgrades for your units (all eras upgrades included) in the Research tab whatever your campaign progression is.

Changes:


1. Now if you click on your nickname while being on the globe you will be able to see a Player Information screen.
There you can find your current rank, see the next one and learn what you must do to achieve it. Also, Leaderboard had been transferred to this screen.
Through pulling your cursor over the next rank you will be able to see which units will be available for dropping down as rewards after you receive it through fighting in PvP or completing a certain mission.
2. Enhanced the sorting system of the reserves on the globe.

Fixed issues:


1. Fixed a bug which caused units to behave incorrectly – some of them did not turn to the target, some didn’t shoot.
2. Aviation you called in is no longer is in flames from the start :)
3. Changed Pz II Luhs gun characteristics slightly.

Technical patch №8



Loading:


1) Fixed a bug which, after loading some saved missions, caused the mission to load on a black screen and required players to press the Spacebar to continue the game.
2) Fixed the problem that sometimes didn't allow saves made in the "Siege of Sevastopol" mission to load.

Graphics:


1) Animated objects and the convoy in battle were removed from the "Two Bridges" map.
2) Fixed a bug that caused the animated movement of camels to malfunction.
3) A mistake with the American flag was corrected in the "Warsaw Uprising" mission.
4) Fixed a mistake where the Cruiser Mk.I tank was displayed with black textures on sandy maps.
5) Changed the place where rewards appeared on the "Castle Ruins" map in Skirmish mode.

Interface:


1) Fixed a bug that caused objects on the minimap to hover after disabling and enabling the interface (F10).
2) Fixed inaccuracies and minor errors in localization.
3) If you check "remove shields" in the settings, health indicators remain above the units.
4) Fixed a bug that didn't allow players to scroll the units on the central panel in battle.
5) Now the selected anti-aliasing parameter is correctly stored in the settings.

Balance, units behavior and PvE:


1) Fixed a bug that didn't allow players to call in reinforcements of more than one unit of the same type.
2) Now, after a squad captures a fortification, the soldiers from this squad don't run to attack the enemy, but stay to defend the fortification.
3) Fixed the problem in the "Strike in the Ardennes" mission that caused the reinforcements that had just been called up to be lost in the final part of the mission.
4) Fixed a bug in the "Operation Archery" mission that caused the task to be completed when troops were called up from reserves.
5) Fixed a bug that didn't apply the "Improved shell ballistics" improvement to the Cruiser Mk.I tank's characteristics.

Technical patch №7



Fixed issues:



1) Fixed all the remaining causes of the "Not Authorized" issue, which didn't allow some players to enter the game. It will bother you no more :)

2) Fixed all the issues related to the bridges. Now the look and operate correctly.

3) Improved tutorial:
- When you are entering your second battle in tutorial, the reserve panel will be highlighted to draw your attention to it.
- Now if you press "Enter the battle" without any troops in attack group, a pop-up will be shown, which will tell you to move units from reserve pool to attack group using drag and drop or with LMB.

4) Loading time (of the game itself and a number of missions) has been slightly reduced.

5) Fixed a bug in "Attack on the garrison" mission. You were able to take tanks to the mission on the mission screen, but after loading the mission they were all gone. Now you are not able to take tanks with you, as it was supposed to be, and with infantry units only in attack, the mission starts out correctly.

New achievements added!



Changes in the game:



1) Added a few new german infantry units.
2) Added a brand new sound track on the rewards screen.
3) 15 new achievements added!

Fixed issues:



1) Fixed Not Authorized issue which did not allow a number of players to enter the game.
2) Fixed a number of issues connected to receiving achievements. Now you will be awarded with the correct ones.
3) Fixed several bugs in the research branches, including issues connected to applying the research bonuses to the units.
4) Fixed a visual error, which occured when you loaded the game and the icon of debuff did not disappear even though the debuff was no longer active in reality.
5) Fixed an issue which happened in several missions when you loaded the game and your vehicles were able to move through the antitank hedgehogs.
6) Corrected front lines on the 3rd era on USSR faction.
7) The screen of choosing fights' with Boris difficulty in tutorial was redone.
