Gladiators!


A new patch has been deployed to solve a few issues that came up in the latest version. Special thanks to those of you who helped us track down these issues and reported them!


Patch Notes v1.4 (30894):

Levels


- Fixed an issue on The Bonesand Plateau where the Outpost Turrets could spawn back in an odd order.

Gameplay


- Cosmic Relay should now have its proper cost (2950) and sell for correct amount.
- Fixed a couple of issues with the new item’s descriptions.

Tech


- Fixed an issue where Scores could be added to the wrong Scoreboard.

Sound


- Captain Kikki will now respect the Mute option.

Bloodsports.TV Patch Notes v.1.3 (30719)

Gladiators! The first FREE DLC: BLOOD BRAWL has been released alongside Patch v.1.3!



Patch Notes:

Gameplay


- Free DLC Blood Brawl Added
- 3-Rad-Icator shall now be able to be stacked 5 times instead of 4 as its description claims.

UI


- Added flashier and more detailed enemy-counter. Will now show exactly how many Henchmen, Champions and Bosses there is left.

Tech


- The game will now upload scores to the scoreboard next time the game start if the game was abruptly ended.

- Enemies killed by 12 Spike Guards, Bladed Jagerboots and Underside Power Armour’s passives will now correctly give gold and experience to their owners.

- Fixed an issue where Luna Stormare could not heal Hardy Klanning with Hux Flux while Warmachine was active.

A new patch is live!
This one will focus primarily on fixing issues.

Gameplay


- Hardy Klanning’s Warmachine Tech Power scaling removed so that he can no longer be invulnerable.
Even tanks can die now :cute:

- Hardy Klanning’s Warmachine crowd control immunity should now work a lot better.

- Hardy Klanning’s Mortal Strike should now properly scale with Tech Power.
Call it compensation.

- Buzzer Ingholm’s Acid Rain ability tooltip will now display the correct Tech Power scaling.

- Buzzer Ingholm’s Rigged Decoy and Acid Rain kills now triggers “On Kill” effects.

- Lil’ Erik’s Unstable Mutation self-inflicting damage halved to match the ability tooltip.
Sorry 'bout that one Erik

- Fixed an issue where a combination of Lil’ Erik’s Unstable Mutation and 12” Spike Guards could injure Gladiators trying to heal Lil’ Erik.

- Fixed an issue where Gunvald the Mad could get stuck in his Deathmark animation.

- The Old Moose’s abilities and attacks will now work a lot better.

- Cerebral Overcharger stacks now grant 5 health per stack as stated in the item tooltip, instead of 1.

- Fixed an issue where Energy Tap would not trigger correctly at high attack speeds again Energy Tapped targets.

- Item and ability cooldowns should no longer reset on death.

- Medikus Path to Glory Achievement “I'm not a scientist” should now give correct amount of Tech Power.


UI


- Added borderless fullscreen option to video settings.

- Locked skins can now be previewed in the lobby even if not unlocked through the Path to Glory.

- You can now use the right mouse button to buy items in the shop with one click.

- The Scoreboard will now default to showing ‘Top Players’ instead of ‘Find Me’ if you have no scores in the chosen scoreboard.

- Fixed an issue where the team overview could stop updating player gold values.

- Fixed an issue where leveling an ability while being dead could show the wrong mana cost and showing abilities as available even though they were not.

- Fixed an issue where the “Lock Camera on Gladiator” toggle button sometimes showed as not locked when it actually was.

- Fixed an issue where the lobby chat text sometimes became green.

- Added a pop up message for when a server fails to be hosted due to no connection to the Steam Servers service.

- Fixed various typos.

Tech


- Fixed issue where Gladiators could be revived with too much health depending on what items they owned.

- Fixed crash when pressing escape key while rebinding a key ingame.

- Fixed an issue where Gladiators could be knock backed through walls (they can still dash through them with abilities).

A new patch is live for Bloodsports.TV!

Gameplay


- The guaranteed crit buffs granted by True Horror and Vengeful AI Buckler now last for one normal attack or up to 3 seconds.
Now infinitely shorter.

- Hardy’s Seismic Stomp can no longer damage the Missile Silo.
It was kind of funny though :cute:

Tech


- Enemy pathfinding should work better on Rooftop Rumble.

- Fixed an issue where the Mad Butcher would teleport outside the gameplay area.

- Wave number should now longer get messed up when a new player joins the game after wave 10.

- Fixed crash when buying both Turbo Energizer and Cerebral Overcharger, and then selling one of them.

- Fixed crash when using abilities on a Gladiator just being revived.

Misc


- Units killed by the Missile destruction explosion should no longer grant coin or experience.
For more accurate post game stats.

- Hyland's Hyperfang will no longer give combat text to all players.

- If all players but one are ready in a game lobby, and the one that is not ready get kicked/leaves the game, the countdown should now start automatically.

- Wide Search in server filters will now pick up a lot more servers.

Bloodsports.TV Beta Has Come To An End

Gladiators!



The Bloodsports.TV Beta has come to an end. For the next two days we'll be preparing for the official release on March 30. You can find more information about what this will entail here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/336420/announcements/detail/243532091302525279

During the Beta we've received a ton of great feedback and have been hard at work squashing bugs, polishing features and implementing community ideas such as Smart Cast :cute:

Gameplay


- Kati Sagan’s abilities should now work a lot better. She will no longer run back to her old attack target when teleporting out of range or chase down targets while Lockdowned.

- Fixed an issue where ranged Gladiators sometimes would move into melee when attacking.
Outlaws should be shot on sight - not hugged.

- Fixed an issue where Luna’s Hux Flux only could heal allies and damage Outlaws once every 5 seconds.
"I feel alive again" one Bruiser is quoted to have said after trying the patch.

- Fixed an issue where Hardy Klanning would sometimes miss targets with his Dauntless Charge.
He’s just not that acrobatic.

- Beasts respawn delay increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds. Should improve situations where the Beasts respawned instantly after being killed.
No more - or at least fewer - sudden ambushes.

- Fixed an issue where some Beasts could not damage BoxBots.
We'll miss those epic battles of BEAST vs MACHINE, but its for the best!

- Alfred's DynaVisor™ T-30 bomb should now also explode on death. Explosion damage reduced from 1500 + 1000% Tech Power to 1000 + 500% Tech Power.
Its actually useful now!

- Fixed issue with Turbo Energizer, Grizzly Toothblade and The Windmiller where you could gain the wrong buff depending on in what order you bought the items.

Sound


- Fixed issue where the commentator would always be disabled until the user changed settings.
Censorship isn't cool.

UI


- Enemy healing combat text is now green.
Did you know that the Mad Butcher also heals himself off of your suffering with his Lifesteal Aura?

- Escape key can now be used to abort the chat in game.

- Score monitor in main menu now supports higher scores and longer names.

- Added server filters in server list.
Passworded servers begone!

- Fixed a bug where the shop ‘Buy’ button would toggle between enabled/disabled every time an item is selected in the shop, regardless of if you can afford it or not.

Tech


- Fixed crash when entering a game from lobby while game was ending.

- Fixed crash when trying to reset Path of Glory progress.

Misc


- Updated several tooltips to make descriptions easier to understand.

Gameplay


- Reduced cooldown of heals at lower ranks: Lisbeth’s Helping Hand from 6/-1 to 4/-0.5, Luna’s Hux Flux from 9/-1.5 to 7/-1
Tanks can now expect to live through wave 1 when doing their jobs.

- Alfred's Dynavisor T-30 bomb damage increased from 800 + 1*TP to 1500 + 10*TP.
Needed a little more bang for the buck.

- Rimfrost AC-2.0’s activated ability should now be instant (had a second delay before triggering) and its activated ability slow reduced from 95% to 85% and radius increased from 5 to 6.
Winter is coming. Now instantly.

- Fixed issue where Curse Clan Idol and Troll-Rabbit's Foot would not obey their cooldowns.
Seems to be some sort of jinx on these items.

- Bloating Implant now gives 200 health instead of 250.

- Edgy Implant now gives 5% Attack Speed instead of 10%.

- Numbing Implant now gives 5% Armor instead of 10%.

- Spiky Implant now gives 3% Critical Chance instead of 5%.

- The Mad Butcher will now teleport more often and be better at picking a good target to teleport to.
Surprise!

- Slashers will now prioritize attacking Medikus and Regulators a lot more and Slayers slightly more.
They just look too tasty. Nom!

Art


- Some Bloom tweaking.
No more occasional light shows. Or at least not as often.

- Updated The Village Hero’s Blast Wave ability feedback, telegraphing that its more dangerous closer to the center.
Yes. Stay away from the center of the giant explosion.

- Improvised Decoy from IDEA Toolbox’s taunt aura is now blue so it looks less intimidating, it is also double in size to match the radius of the aura.
No. It is not dangerous for Gladiators.

- Made the teeth on the Missile Shark white.
Or whale, as some seem to prefer to call it :cute:

UI


- Changed ready button to green.

- Ingame player names now support Cyrillic letters.

- Fixed an issue with the loading screen in various resolutions.

- The health bars and combat text should now scale better to resolution.

- UI should now work a lot better while the game is minimized.

- Item cooldown no longer disappear when moving items in the inventory.

- The Windmiller should now be sorted into the right categories in the shop.

- Klyve's Man-Cleaver ability now uses the correct effect icon.

- Having several The Scout's Code should now only give one :cute: icon.

Tech


- Made game a lot more stable while returning back to lobby.

- Fixed a bug in Path to Glory were challenges sometimes would not unlock when they should after low tier challenges got bugged.

- Fixed a bug in Path to Glory where the legendary tier challenge for each class could not be unlocked in Endless mode.

- The hotkey to hide the UI should now work again (Ctrl + G).

- Fixed an issue where enemies could sometimes get stuck in the air.

- Fixed a crash when leaving the game while reviving.

- Fixed a crash when clicking on the portrait of revived Gladiators.

Misc


- Servers playing on a diffrent version of Bloodsports.TV will no longer be viewable from the server list.

- Environmental Rats should no longer be able to stop Hyper Discharge projectiles.
This is not a joke.

- Fixed several spelling errors.
