PATCH NOTES 1.9 PLAYERS UNITE

NEW Content:

  • !GAMERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD UNITE! - all 5 global servers got connected! It means that you can invite friends from any server and play games with them! We’ve added notifications if someone is playing from the other server to prevent unexpected ping issues. All the progress from different servers will be saved to the main account.*
  • Crowd Control Resistance in Level Up System - High CC builds didn’t have any proper counter, so we’ve added a new way to deal with them - you can level up 20% Crowd Control resistance starting from level 4, up to 2 stacks. This Resistance gives 20% reduction of Slows, Repels, Stuns, Roots.

Card Changes:

  • Elementalist - changed from:
    “Apostle gets 10 Ability Haste for each Element Card.”
    to:
    Apostle gets 10 Ability Haste + 2.5 Ability Haste for each Element Card.
  • Elementalist - (4) changed from:
    “Using Ability regenerates 5 Stamina for each Element Card.”
    to:
    “Using Elemental Ability regenerates 12% of Missing Stamina.”
  • Elementalist - (5) increase Health gained by ~10%.
  • Focus - (4) Changed Free Ability time: 5 -> 6 Seconds.
  • Mage - Ability Cost reduced 30% -> 25%. (1/5) 5% -> 4%.
  • Champion (3)&(3) - bonus damage ratio changed: 100% -> 75%

Ability Changes:

  • Stone Spike - Cucumbers were too cheap for their health values. We grow them bigger to fit the values, but the growth takes more time and effort too.
    Size increased by 20%
    Cooldown increased: 9->10 seconds
    Stamina increased: 50->55
    Delay increased: 0.32->0.5
  • Rock Growth - Autumn is ending, fewer and fewer potatoes in the ground
    Cooldown increased 4.5 -> 5 seconds.
    Stamina increased: 30->35
  • Death Chain - Death Chain was like a toxic relationship, it gave too little space.
    Minimum Death Chain Range increased: 250 -> 280.
    Normal Death Chain Range increased: +5% of distance between Apostles.
  • Mortal Chasers - Chasers were too hot headed
    Initial speed increased: 420->450.
    Ramping speed decreased: 50 -> 20.
    Ability to turn: -20%.

Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • Game - Legacy of the Gods - end round timers check changed to 1 seconds in Duels and Flags.
  • Game - Altar Value of Ability Cost changed from 20% to 15%.
  • Game - fix bug, which gave more Ability Haste from Elementalist than intended.
  • Game - Level Up System gets different icons for each Ability Upgrade.
  • Game - game loading time improvement.
  • Game - fix Shunpo + Ghost(4) - 0 CD on Ability bug.
  • Client - fix Happy Hours stop blinking after it ends.
  • Client - fix consumable show click.
  • Client - Apostle Builder - clear button does not clear the Altar.


* Players who already had few accounts on different servers will be able to access only the highest level one. We will recompense that with extra Crimson Chests to the main account for every 5 Levels achieved on the side accounts.
Game History was erased for this operation, but all the progress is safe.

PATCH 1.9 MAINTENANCE - PLAYERS UNITE

Today, we are shipping very big patch. This can take even up to 4 hours. The servers will be off for some duration. Everything should work again by 15.00 GMT.

The patch will bring possibility to play with players from different regions and change the main region with the main account

PATCH NOTES 1.8: Make New Friends

NEW Content:

  • Hero: Kalder, the Outlaw Daemon was banished to this world and is spreading fear among both humans and demons. Kalder is a durable shooter with great scaling potential and constant high damage.
  • Leveling Tips: Each Hero gets its default Leveling path, which you can check by pressing and holding 'C' key during the game. (All the player below 10 Level will get the tip window opened automatically after Level Up).
  • Suggested Friends: you can find friends to play much easier, checking the suggested friend list in the Social Panel (the system will show you lastly active players who’ve got at least level 4).
  • HAPPY HOURS - everyday for 2 specified hours you will get extra 75% Experience for playing Classic Mode. The starting hour will be different for regions, so that all players from each region will experience HAPPY HOURS at the same time!

Apostle Changes:

  • Nocto - he was getting too tired for someone from beyond the grave.
    Nocto was loosing too much stamina and couldn’t proc Witchcraft well, we fixed that.
    Removed: Mage Card, Mage (5/5), Ghost (2/5)
    Added: Focus Card, Focus (7)

Card Changes:

  • Mobility - (5) We help Mimi players to stay in the Sudden Death circle longer ;) Too much mobility may cause big balance problems to other Abilities and build, so we tune down dashes. Extra Dash Speed: +75% -> +50%
  • Fire - Don’t play with matches, cause you get burnt. The burns are really too serious to have fun playing against with healers. We reduce healing and regeneration debuff: 60%->30% to give healers more space to brief. We fixed the bug that caused burning to deal 16% too much damage.
  • Barbarian - These conversion rates were way too barbaric… Barbarian Card changed to: “Apostle deals +1% damage for every 3 missing HP. Maximum bonus at 75 missing HP.”
    Barbarian (1/5) changed to: “Missing Health threshold is increased by 15 (max 5 times). ”

Ability Changes:

  • Fireball - last buffs were a little overtuned, so we decrease the damage a little bit: 15->12.
  • Fireball - Level Ups changed form: “1. +20% Speed 2. -15% Cooldown 3. +40% Size 4. +25% Damage” to: “1. 20% Damage 2. -15% Cooldown 3. +40% Size 4. +20% Speed”
  • Seismic Golem - Get ready for RUMBLEEEE!!! - Max damage from the fall increased: 20->30, but needs a really high fall.
  • Mortal Chasers - activation max range decreased 425->400.

Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • Game - Focus from Altar and Level Ups increased: 1.5 -> 2
  • Client - fix Hero and Skin Avatars.
  • Game - Ghost (4) fix value calculation

PATCH NOTES 1.7

Apostle Changes:

  • Eddie- He couldn’t protect his field well enough, so we gave him some explosive potatoes to even the chances.
    Eddie got a Hero Rework and he is now a true Potato Mage who doesn’t skip the gym day. He has two types of potatoes - toss explosives and static ground ones. He also has a tough muscular body to protect himself from being taken down too fast.
  • Diable - The big fella is struggling with mobility Heroes, we help him a little in case he has actually managed to get someone in range Changed: Daemon (5) Skill + Executioner 2x(1/5) -> Daemon (7) Skill.


Card Changes:

  • Executioner - (5) Perfect Stance - there is no such thing as perfection Damage Reduction changed 25% -> 20%.
  • Witch - Damage over time from Witchcraft wasn’t very different from the other DOTs, so we give it some edge. Damage from Witchcraft is Irreducible (can’t be reduced by any Damage Reduction).
  • Mage - (4) The amount of Damage Reduction was too much for the 4 Point Cost so we reduced it from 30% to 20%.
  • Water - (7) The Shield was building too fast. It was changed: (6 Shield / 2 sec) -> (5 Shield / 3 sec).

  • } Daemon - (base) The bonuses from Vile Aura are too great for just 5 points. We change the bonus damage +15% -> +5% (it still can be boosted up to 25% with (1/5) Skill).
  • Daemon - (5) Regeneration from the Skill was too oppressive when used on a tank. We change the value 2.5 -> 1.5 per Enemy inside the Vile Aura.
  • Barbarian - (4) Muscle Tension changed from: 40% Range Resistance for 2 seconds to 40% Range Damage Reduction for 3 seconds.


Ability Changes:

  • Explosion Bomb - Cooldown reduced 8 -> 7 seconds.
  • Rock Growth- Potatoes got some love
    We’ve noticed that there were no areas in which Rock Growth could be better from other Ground Abilities, so there was no point to take them. In order to fix that, we decrease their Cooldown 7 -> 4.5 seconds and Stamina Cost 35 -> 30. Now you can really plant a minefield if you want!
  • Hyper Hydration - The last damage repelling buff was so good, that we needed to ‘adjust’ the Ability a bit. The Ability no longer heals after the end, but the Shield stays anyway. Cooldown increased 9 -> 11 seconds. Stamina Cost increased 30 -> 40.


Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • Client - Fix: Steam Achievement “Story Connoisseur” is completed just after finishing the story (it does not require a client restart).
  • Game - bots get better logic with Sudden Death and dodging Abilities.
  • Game - Fix Sudden Death middle position choosing.
  • Game - Fix issues with Alt+Tab game rendering.
  • Game - Add unified Damage Reduction visual shield color system (Front: Melee - Red, Range - Green, Ability - Blue, Other - Grey, Back: All - Dark Grey/Black)
  • Game - Improved visibility of Spectral Form active and Immortality.

!!! HOTFIX: Invisible Text issue finally FIXED !!!

The invisibility for words and sentences in menu was far too overpowered, so we nerfed it to the ground ːsteammockingː Now, you can always see the text.

We have great news! We have fixed a bug that was causing some players couldn't see text in the menu and in the game. Now you can read what you click with confidence :)

PATCH NOTES 1.6: Trick or Treat!

NEW Content:

  • Hero: Reapp, the Grim Carrier will joyfully help to guide some souls ! Reapp is a very tricky Caster , who uses his Clone to trap and bind the Enemy with many Death Chains at once!
  • Hero: Nocto, the Damned One jumps off the wall to cast a curse! Have eyes around your head, cause Nocto can be everywhere (literally, he can go through walls!) and cast long-range Abilities from a safe position.
  • Ghost Skin: the Hollow Hunter can be unlocked by solving a riddle! Check Facebook* and Discord* weekly codes to get the Skin for FREE.
  • The Riddle will show up in short time after the patch is published.
  • Card: Witch - Witchcraft X - Consumes up to X% Max Stamina and converts consumed Stamina into Curse which deals damage over time. Abilities has WitchCraft 20 (4 for several-hitting Abilities).
    (1) Craft of the Witches - Max Stamina is increased by 6 (max 5 times).
    (2) Cursed Blows - Melee Hit applies Witchcraft 20.
    (3) Cursed Shots - Range Hit applies Witchcraft 20.
    (4) Hag Spells - Ability Witchcraft is increased to 50 (10 for several-hitting Abilities).
    (5) Witch Curse - Curse blocks all healing to Target with less than 60% Health.
    (7) Last Kiss - If cursed Target dies, Apostle restores all missing Stamina and regenerates 20% of Health.

Card Changes:

  • Elf - (1/5) Change Skill reducing damage into ‘High Talents’ - Attack and Throw Cost reduced by 5%, Ability Cost Reduced by 4%, Action Cost reduced by 1 for each point (max 5).
  • Elf - (5) Add ‘Melee Free Hit deals additional +2.5 Damage’

Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • Client - Each Green Chest gives much better Cosmetic loot.
  • Client - saving Band sets it also automatically as the Chosen Band.
  • Game - increase Experience reward after the Game.
  • Game - fix score system in Legacy of the Gods.
  • Game - each match gives Orders now.
  • Game - fix bug which prevented players with higher score to get more experience
  • Client - change starting rewards below level 6 to Orders and Heroes.
  • Client - fix issue with invisible name of a just bought Fighter
  • Game - add game chat restrict till level 10 in matchmade (queue) games, to prevent inappropriate behavior (in future the restrict will be disabled, with proper chat filters).
  • Game - fix Kills counter in Deathmatch


!!!We are aware of Missing Menu Text bug for some people. We are working on the solution!!!

PATCH NOTES 1.5

NEW Content:

  • Hero: Sigh, Swordmaster from the Woods is ready to give a fencing lesson! A first Elf is joining Bloody Efforts! Sigh is a Melee Bruiser, who uses a mighty two-handed sword and enhances Wind to get closer to the enemy! (check Facebook and Discord weekly codes to get the Hero for FREE).
  • Custom Mode: Showdown - Apostles fight in short 1 vs 1 Duels. The Winner stays for the next Duel and the Loser goes to the end of the waiting line.
    You can create a Showdown in Custom Match and invite up to 3 Friends or AI.
  • Appearance Customization: Pointy Ears for your own Elven Creations!


Card Changes:

  • Explosion - Bombs that deal less than 8 damage does not Repel anymore.
  • Clone - fix Clone name and health bar to look exactly like the original Apostle.
  • Barbarian - Barbarians are too barbaric at low Health Levels especially combined with some Immortality boosts. Set the maximum damage bonus at 40 HP left (the bonus won’t be greater below that).


Ability Changes:

  • Death Chain - this ability is not very popular (yet), but in some team composition it can be really deadly.
    We make it a little more visible for the players and add a sound on play. It should give people more chances to react.


Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • All modes - now players will get more experience based on their personal score.
  • Legacy of the Gods - fix Lives display bug, which occurred during last patch.
  • Client when you choose an Apostle in Band Creator, it is already set with the Skin.

Patch Notes 1.4: 2 NEW Heroes

NEW Content:

  • Hero: Belzedo, the Dark Prophet foresaw his coming! Belzedo is a High Damage Mage, who uses Shurikens to make his magic even Deadlier! (check Facebook and Discord weekly codes to get the Hero for FREE).
  • Hero: Beatris, the Fireblade has burned an extra space for herself in this patch! Beatris is a double-edge (literally and figuratively) bruiser with the highest DPS potential. Just let her warm up!
  • Free Default Hero Bands were changed!

Apostle Changes:

  • Dianne REWORKED - her Abilities didn’t have much synergy, neither they were very fun to use alone… We tried to get more from her theme as a “cat-person” and give her a real claw! Dianne is now the most agile Hero in the game. She also has a new hit-and-run gameplay style with really high damage with right executed combo, making her a perfect Assassin!

Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • News - fixed link to new Cards rarity unlocks.
  • Chat - fixed some focusing issues
  • Chat - fixed issue with writing to deleted friend
  • Stats - fixed bug with kills counting
  • Launcher initialization - fixed rare issue with initializing the game while computer sound is broken

PATCH NOTES 1.3

NEW Content:

  • Hero: Gin, the Black Ninja is joining the battle! Gin is a fast and agile Assassin shooter with capabilities to Backstab enemies very efficiently (check Facebook and Discord weekly codes to get the Hero for FREE).
  • Timed Deathmatch - a simple Free for All mode to give new Players more room to practice. The Match lasts 5 minutes. Player with the most Kills wins the match. You can join a new queue to experience this mode.
  • New First Time Experience flow, to help new Players to join the game easier.

Apostle Changes:

  • Hayleen - replaced Counterman Ability with Triple Strike Ability. Hayleen wasn’t weak but Counterman didn’t fit her playstyle very well. Now, she can unleash her true potential!

Ability Changes:

  • Fireball - it hasn't been really hot lately, so we give it some buff burst!
    Stamina Cost reduced from 40 to 30, Cooldown reduced from 5 to 4.5 seconds.
  • Glorious Charge - Getting stunned and dealing much less damage isn’t so Glorious for other players - we tune it down a little.
    Cooldown increased from 11 to 12 seconds.

Changes & Bug Fixes:

  • Overall Client fixes including scrolls, inviting friends, navigation.
  • Cinematics - fix bug which made some Characters can’t move in Cinematics
  • Chests - fix a bug which sometimes made Chests not to show all the rewards after opening.
  • Chests - reduce Level required to see various rewards from 6 to Level 1 (everybody can now choose the reward - Loot or the equivalent amount of Orders).
  • Quick Match - change mode of the Quick Match vs AI to Timed Deathmatch. You can still play Legacy of the Gods vs AI in Custom Match.
  • Starting Tutorial - The first tutorial now gives more experience to get Level 2.
  • Battle Tutorial - it has more objectives now to give Players more room for practicing.
