Bomb

Update Mk IIIc

Thanks to all customers having an Intel HD!
We have found a major flaw in the texture management. By solving this issue we have greatly reduced the memory usage of BOMB, which is good for all computers !

Changelog of the Mk IIIc:

  • Added a check-box in the options menu to invert the joystick/gamepad axis if desired.
  • Less crashes during loading, thanks to the memory fix.
  • Game is now working on intel HD graphics.

Note that we are continuously optimizing the game to have better performances.
We will now work on other crashes reported by users and integrate the various suggestion that were made !

Update Mk IIIb

The game is still not working on Intel HD graphics chipsets.
Work is in progress... We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Changelog:

- AI improvements.
- You can now activate a work in progress mouse control mode in the game options.
- A crash between mission "Invasion" and "Welcome to Sidi Bandar" has been - we hope- resolved. (As this is a random crash we are not totally sure if it's solved or not.)
- You can now skip the dialog by using the controller buttons, instead of keyboard/mouse only.

Update Mk IIIa

Various crash fixes thanks to our superb crash reporter system (we've received 30+ crash reports so far, thanks fellow reporters!)
We've fixed many bugs thanks to it... Except a nasty one we don't find. But we'll find it!

The game is not working on Intel HD graphics chipsets.
We have now a computer equipped with it and we are going to fix it!
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Changelog:
- Fix a crash when loading the desert environment
- An oooold issue with not playing sounds has been fixed. This is great!
- Primitive mouse control has been added (here's info on how to activate it)
- GUI refinements

Stay tuned! More updates to follow.
Next big step: Linux port!

The game crashes, how to help?

As this is the very beginning of the early access process, users may experience crashes.

In most of cases, when a crash occurs, you are asked to send a crash report, which will give us all sort of information about your hardware and what's happening in the game.

This screen looks like this: http://blog.lamoustache-studio.fr/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/08/report.jpg
Please provide a description and optionally an email address (so we can write to you when it's fixed)

But in rare cases this pop up isn't displayed, and we won't receive the crash report. In such case, please include:

  • information about your computer hardware (OS version, graphic card, system memory...)
  • where in the game the crash occurred
  • the .log files located in the
STEAM_INSTALL_DIR/Steam\SteamApps\common\BOMB\Bin\Release directory

Send a mail with these at support@lamoustache-studio.fr or create a topic in the Support forum. As you wish.

Thank you very much,
La Moustache Studio
