Copter Update

Various improvements and rebalance:


  • Bunch of fixes and small rebalances.
  • Doors could now be restored only once and at 66% of the initial health level.
  • Now player can choose Boss while starting new game.
  • Traps are randomly placed on levels 7 and 3.
  • Totem now initially increases damage instead of regenerating energy.
  • Air Support now show area of effect before hit.


New content:


  • New explosives modification 'Firework' - If bomb hit enemy, and player in area of effect of that bomb, only shrapnel will be trigered. Shrapnel cannot harm the player.

  • New laser modification 'Can Opener' - Laser will ignore part of the body and cause damage directly to health pool.
  • New flamethrower modification 'Grill' - Reduces flamethrower's hit damage. Increases status and oil DPS by hit damage.
  • New bullets modification 'Tactical Shooting' - Bullets will pierce through enemies. For every 25 kills with bullets, for limited time player will get a chance to misfire with bullets.

Bestiary Update

Various improvements and rebalance:


  • Bunch of fixes and small rebalances.
  • Laser's modification 'Ricochet' now can deal damage only to enemies.
  • Now on levels 6, 10, 13 and 14 enemies will be spawned not on random points, but on nearest to player.
  • Now each store will be unavailable if its number exceeds the number of successfully completed levels.
  • Enemies spawned after level's target achieved will receive movement speed boost and will put bad statuses on player with melee attacks.
  • Model of basic melee weapon updated.

New content:


  • Added new modification 'Electrification' - chance to produce chain lightning with melee attack and after taking melee damage.
  • Added new modification 'Bench - Armor Dispenser' - periodically adds status 'Armor Vest' to player near self.
  • Added new modification 'Barricade - Curse' - enemies will receive a resistances reduction, after damaging the barricade.
  • Added new modification 'Stomp - Resistances' - stomp will reduce resistances even more.
  • Added new modification 'Hook - Reverse' - hook will push away a single enemy, if it is close to the player.
  • Added new modification 'Totem - Range' - makes cover area unlimited.
  • Added new modification 'Dash - Lightweight' - adds air jump charge for limited time, and chance to get movement boost after dash.
  • Added new modification 'Slime - Net' - slime will not slow movement speed of hited target, but will nullify it.
  • Added new modification 'Time slow - Arrogant' - removes all bad statuses and white screen effect on usage.

  • Added new menu 'Bestiary', that holds information about each enemy in the game. Initially, the data is closed - player must buy it for revelation points, received for successfully completed levels.

  • Level 01 got one new random section. Level 10 got two new random sections. Level 11 got one new random section. Level 14 got four new random sections.

Egyptic Update

Various improvements and rebalance:


  • Bunch of bug fixes and small rebalances.
  • Descriptions of locations are improved.
  • Now player can't get modifications from reward, that already presented in shops.
  • Time till wave and time left to survive now visible on screen.
  • Resistances of all ice enemies and robots raised.
  • Special actions of Boss 1 now have a different price, which makes him perform them more often.
  • Total amount of resources on Level 15 (obelisk) reduced by 75%.
  • Modification 'Clock' now also give more time between waves and reduces time required to survive.
  • Modification 'Looter' now allow player receive boosts from Box Generator.
  • Active ability 'Hook' now can teleport player with no distance limit, and hooks on scene are visible through walls.

New content:


  • New laser modification 'Skis' - player will get movement boost, after laser ends.
  • New flamethrower modification 'Fire Walker' - Fire Oil can deal damage only to enemies.
  • New explosives modification 'Skull Collector' - the bomb will collect the skulls of the enemies before the explosion, and load ammo to player for each skull.
  • New bullets modification 'Armor Vest' - each shot add status 'Armor Vest'. Next portion of incoming damage will be scaled down, for each stuck of status.

  • New Level 17. Poisonous clouds will fill ground floor, on each wave start. 22 passages on the map will be randomly opened/closed each level start.

Modifications Update

Various improvements and rebalance:


  • The progression of the number of enemies has been reworked - now it smoother.
  • Hard injuries removed from easy difficulty.
  • All methods of self-ignition with a flamethrower have been reduced.
  • Boss 1 got new special action.

  • Injury 'No numbers' now will also distort scene texts.
  • Modification 'Energy pool' now will increase max energy by 500 (was 750).
  • Modification 'Wide Swings' improved: melee attacks will ignore shield in the hands of the enemy.
  • Modification 'Gap' improved to 'Gatekeeper' : now it will increase health of barricade, turret, bench and all doors on level.
  • Stomp's modification 'Stronger' now have chance to drop hat from affected enemies.
  • Repair's modification 'Sapper' improved: now first charge of trap also increase it's damage.

New content:


  • Added new injury 'Time Speed' - increases speed of time by 15%.
  • Added new injury 'Switch Sides' - all player's movement commands rotated by 90° (forward now left, left is now bawards etc.).
  • Added new injury 'Items Swap' - player will be stunned with every item swap.
  • Added new injury 'Western View' - vision will be reduced while moving.
  • Added new injury 'Abilities Cost' - energy cost of all active abilities will be raised.
  • Added new Mine's modification 'Additional Charge' - Mine will detonate one more time, after reloading.
  • Added new Hypnosis modification 'Wave' - change spread form from sphere to wave.
  • Added new modification 'Hustle' - after each 8 portions of received melee damage, player will get an movement speed boost and ability to walk through enemies.
  • Added new modification 'Looter' - increases chances to find something in boxes and safes.
  • Added new modification 'Inner Energy' - preventing one portion of energy consumption, every 40 seconds.
  • Added new modification 'Survivalist' - reduces duration of all bad statuses and white screen effect.
  • Added new modification 'Trained Body' - first injury will be skipped; Increases resistance to bullets, ice and electricity.
  • Added new modification 'Messenger' - player would have speed boost between waves; player will receive speed boost, every time consumable item used.
  • Added new modification 'Personal Factory' - ammo will be constantly regaining, while melee weapon is in hands.
  • Added new modification 'Combo' - each successful light melee attack increases damage from the next heavy attack.
  • Added new modification 'Better Block' - melee movement slowing effect reduced; reduces melee block restoration time; block wave will drop hat from enemies with chance.
  • Added new bullets modification 'Back to Sender' - after hit, bullet will fly back to player with delay (can harm only enemies).

January price changes: big chance that price of the game will be scaled by Steam's new currency conversion recommendations, after new year. This means in some currences price will rise and in some will go down.

Necromantic Update

Various improvements and rebalance:


  • Anti-Aliasing method changed from temporalAA to FXAA.
  • New spawn points on Level 01 (enemies got shorter path to player).
  • Basic enemies and necromancers got 5% chance to fall after receiving damage (it is rolled no earlier than 2 seconds after the previous roll).
  • Basic enemies now can perform dashes forward player.
  • Basic enemy 'Ninja' now will appear for a split second after received damage.
  • Aptitude 'Stomp' now reduce target's resistances.
  • Aptitude 'Hook' now knock hat from target.

New content:


    Five new necromancers and five new servants (basic enemies). All necromancers have range attack and can resurect basic enemies of special type, by collecting skulls of fallen skeletons. Projectile can be destroyed in mid air. Skulls and successful range hits will charge ability of necromancer.

  • Basic Necromancer: melee attack and projectile pushes player away. Ability is to create stones around to block player's path. Resurected cultists are invulnerable. Cultist loose invulnerability when necromancer died, hood droped from his head or after he perform one melee attack.

  • Robot Necromancer: have high bullets resistance. Melee attack and projectile kick ammo from player. Ability is to create land mines. Resurected robots, as their necromancer, have high bullets resistance and kick ammo from player with melee attacks, and also have 5 times more damage to non-unit targets (like doors and barricades).

  • Eskimo Necromancer: have high ice resistance. Melee attacks freeze player to place. Projectile pull player to necromancer. Ability is spread light for 5 seconds to freeze player, if he looking at it. Resurected polar skeletons have high ice resistance and slow down player on melee attack. Also they have 66% chance to drop ice grenade after death, which can be destroyed to affect not player, but enemies.


  • Warlock Necromancer: can collect not only skulls for resurrection charges, but also player's bombs and slimes. Melee attacks and projectile turns player around. Projectile have a homing effect. Ability is to replace basic enemies, that have no role, with better ones. Resurected skeletons have range weapon - crossbow.

  • Infernal Necromancer: have high fire resistance. With one range attack create three projectiles. Melee attacks and projectile set fire status and spread fire oil on ground. Ability is to create Fire Strings near player. Crossed string set fire status on player. Resurrected skeletons have high fire resistance and cause fire explosion while approaching player, that doesn't hold melee weapon.

Bone Mayhem exit early access

After 3 years in development (1.5 years in early access), the game is released. A lot has changed in the game during early access: all maps have been replaced with new ones, all weapons have been reworked, both bosses have been replaced with new ones, most of the modifications have been updated/replaced/reworked/added, most of the active abilities and enemies have been updated, and a new type of enemy has been added - dinosaurs. The release update also carries changes:

Various improvements:


  • Various bug fixes.
  • Active aptitudes 'Bench', 'Turret', 'Air support', 'Repair' visually updated.
  • Now melee weapon will be visually changed after aquaring first melee modification (14 models total).
  • Achievements added.

Rebalance:


  • Various balance changes.
  • Laser reworked (again): tension, spread, magnetism, DPS, ammo cost and some modifications changed.
  • Now possible to shot laser and flamethrower in same time.
  • Amount of empty slots at shops increased from 23% to 32.5%.
  • Modification 'Hammer' now will make next melee hit stronger, after non-enemy target destruction.
  • Active aptitude 'Hook' now can teleport player to on-scene hooks around arenas.


New content:


  • Explosives modification 'Fuse' added. Live fuse will be released after explosion, which will try to reach player, damaging all overlapped enemies on the path.

  • Explosives modification 'Punch' added. If bomb hit enemy, and player in area of effect of that bomb, detonation will be canceled and all enemies near target will be damaged and pushed away.

  • Added new modification to active aptitude 'Air support' - 'Safety' . 'Air support' will no longer deal damage to player.

28.08.2022 Update

Various improvements:


  • Various bug fixes.
  • Added new difficulty.
  • Amount of available loses now showed in global map.

Rebalance:


  • Various balance changes.
  • Maps 8 and 15 got more enemie's spawn points.
  • Total amount of enemies increased on maps 1 and 15.
  • Modification of the explosive "Shotgun" will now search for a target between units in priority.

New content:


  • Laser modification 'Direct' added. Reduces spread, tension and the cost of maintaining the laser.
  • Laser modification 'Frost bite' added. Chance to freeze new target on its appearance and create splash damage.

  • Fire modification 'Only One' added. Fire status could be applied only to one target in same time, but DPS of it increased by 400%.
  • Fire modification 'Ammo Harvest' added. Forces enemies with 'Fire' status drop Fire Grains on death. Collected 20 Fire Grains restore full ammo and increases all damage for limited time.
  • Fire modification 'Energy Harvest' added. Forces enemies with 'Fire' status drop Fire Grains on death. Collected 20 Fire Grains restore energy and increases chances for critical and double aptitudes for limited time.

  • Boss 2 replaced with new one.


30.07.2022 Update

Various improvements:


  • Various bug fixes.
  • Base dino updated visually.
  • Critical and double chances of active aptitudes now have sound and visual effects.

Rebalance:


  • Various balance changes.
  • Damage type of active ability 'Spikes' changed from melee to pure.
  • Laser now will magnet to target with some random offset.
  • Flamethrower now will hit parts of enemies (arms, legs, shields etc).
  • Critical and double chances of active aptitudes increased from 10% to 20%.

New content:


  • Bullet modification 'Another one' added. Next bullet will be stronger, if previous shot made kill.
  • Explosives modification 'Radiation ray' added. Bomb constantly inflicts pure damage to the nearest enemy.

06.07.2022 Update

Various improvements:

  • Laser damage formation updated.
  • Traps got increased damage.
  • Fire modifications 'Damage down' , 'Decomposition' and 'No rush' combined into one.
  • Turret's modification 'Light' removed.
  • Now with modification 'Stopping power' turret will also freeze targets.

New content:


  • Fire modification 'Jet' added: increase hit damage of fire stream and push player backwards while it exist.
  • Fire modification 'Wave' added: fire wave will be released if firestraeam exist more than 0.5 seconds.
  • Laser modification 'Banking' added: without proper target laser will save unapplied damage and release it when new target appears.
  • Turret modification 'Around' added: allows turret to shoot any direction.
  • New injuries added.

23.05.2022 Update

Various improvements:


  • Various bug fixes.
  • Trio generator visually updated.
  • Vending machine visually updated. Vendor now will sell also buffs and energy canisters. Vendor now can be destroyed. Merchandise will survive destruction with 5% chance.

Rebalance:


  • Various balance changes.
  • Base bullet's damage increased from 60 to 65.
  • Baseball players got increased area of effect +0.5m.
  • Fire modification 'Misses' removed.
  • Fire modification 'FireBall' reworked. Now there are chance to release Fireball on kill with flamethrower (From enemy's position). Fireball release with Double click was removed.
  • Fire modification 'Damage Down' and 'No Hands' Combined in one.

New content:


  • Fire modification 'Share' added. Adds fire status to enemies around target, on its death.
  • Fire modification 'Spread' added. Oil will refresh self and spawn new one near self on target destruction.
  • Bullet modification 'Split' added. Fully charged bullet will split self and damage two enemies near target on hit.
  • Level 09 rebuilded.

  • Level 15 rebuilded (third iteration).
