A new game mode of sorts has been added called Creative Plaything. Within you can play the usual Awakening/Skirmishes game modes, but you can also adjust all manner of bits and bobs. You can freely change up the map contraptions and start with any minions/relics/spells. There's also mutators that for example allows you modify your speed, bone value, enemy spawn rate, difficulty scaling, turn Blessed meanies off, difficulty scaling, etc. It's rather useful for testing various builds or if you would just prefer to play a way more tuned to your preferences. Of course you won't gain meta nor get new high scores in this mode.
A new class has been added called the Imp Contraptineer. He has an affinity with Impling minions, but his unique ability is changing the map's contraptions during play. Collecting scrap allows you to construct the contraptions, and you can deconstruct the ones you don't like. The contraption limit is also raised for him with the right meta so if you fancy a map filled with the fire of lamp posts he's your imp.
A new super minion has been added called the Megas Meldsumossous. He's the most difficult minion to boneraise needing a Giantan Meldus minion, a regular Meldus minion, and a Hero Soul, but he also packs the biggest punch of the lot. You can even get him alongside the previous top killer the Diablos Deamonous.
Previously when playing a Necrotic Skirmishes game all the enemy types would show up, even if you haven't unlocked them or had forgotten them. Now they work in a similar way to the Awakening mode, where enemies you haven't unlocked or forgotten won't show up at all, so you can tune which enemies will appear. Note that those enemies won't be replaced so you'll lose out on resources if you do.
The way level 3 Heroic Force meta for special enemy stages has been changed a bit. Previously the level 3 would extend how long that stage lasts, but it now instead affects how many show up so you can tune the difficulty of certain stages more. Since there's a chance a stage will only have 1 special stage, the length of all special stages has been extended by 5 seconds so it roughly works out the same.
Some misc bits and bobs... - Meldum Afflicted class: Added a new meta called Megas Mania, which allows you raise up to 3 Megas Meldsumossous but cannot summon a Diablos. The Meldsum Aura and Meldsum Scabs meta have been combined. - Doll Maker class: They can now boneraise Waxen Bowman who can be upgraded to level 3, assuming you have the new Waxenmould Bowman class meta. - Mausoleum Awakening: Slightly reduced the enemy spawn rate on high difficulty maps. - You can now view the Status Screen during a Blacksmith Lackey and Souleater Dealer event. - Architect Mode: You can now sell the selected contraption when choosing where to deploy a contraption. - Elven Eyes stage: Added an Elf Spearman enemy (mainly just to reduce the amount of archers). - Joker Jester minion: Added a chance they won't transform enemies into high level enemies early on (the chance tapers down until stage 3). - Loosened some of the specific Deamons needed to make a Diablos (so there's less chance of you running into a deadend). Ranged Deamon minions can now make either a Azgideth or Zogziech. - Zogziech Diablos: Now counts as a Magic minion. - Deamonous Impling: Its bulb trap now behaves more like a land mine. Slightly increased its attack speed and increased chance of creating bulb traps. - Fungal Growth contraption: Max cap has been increased to 6 (from 3).
And some bug fixes... - Status Screen: You couldn't change pages when using full mouse support. - The Meldus Flame relic would allow you to boneraise Meldus Minions even without the Meldus Rituals meta. - Mugger and Ghoul enemies weren't showing up in Necrotic Skirmishes. - Untended Townisle map: Enemies and minions would sometimes get a bit stuck behind the buildings off screen. - The Fruit Bush contraption's grass would remain after you sold it. - The Souleater Dealer items could be re-rolled even if you didn't have a Soul. - The Ginormous Pumpkin contraption was also counting as a Fetid Pumpkin for limit purposes.

//misc - Necrotic Skirmishes: Reduced the chance of Blessed and Super Blessed enemies very early on the run (eg Super Blessed won't show at all until the 1 minute mark and have a reduced chance until the 3 minute mark). - Mausoleum Awakening: Reduced the amount of enemies that will show up during the following special stages (most notably at high difficulty maps): Goopily Slimies, Elven Eyes, Phasmophobia, Ogre Juggernauts, Night of the Living Dead, Muggy Bandits. - Increased the gem drop rate for Elves and Ogre enemies. Lantern Handlers now have a small chance of dropping a gem. Candle Phantasms now have a chance of dropping an Occult Heart or gem.
//bug fixes - Mouse menu support wasn't working in some menus (Status Screen spells, Roaming Traveller events, Delete Save, New Game Forever). - The Status Screen and Game Over screen could cause a crash if you're using full mouse support and there was an active Curse of Blindness. - You could boneraise Bro minions even without unlocking the relevant meta as long as you increased their cap elsewhere (eg from relics). - Marshes of Madness map: There was a chance enemies could spawn inside the map edge terrain. - The Blacksmith Lackey and Souleater Dealer could show up at the same time causing music issues. - Scope Sights relic: Getting more than 3 would cause a crash. - Souleater Dealer: He could offer a relic which would take you over its duplicate limit. - There was a chance the game's window title would change.

//misc - Mouse Support setting: Added the old 'Buttons Only' option for if you want to use mouse buttons without the full mouse menu support. - Font Type setting: This is now set to the 'x2 Resolution' option by default. - Lord of the Land boss: The range of his charge attack is now greatly reduced when he attacks for the first time, and reduced a bit on his second attack. - Lantern Handlers: They will no longer create flames upon their death.
//bug fixes - Fixed various crashes when using the mouse cursor in menus. - Fixed some menus where the mouse cursor selection wasn't accurate. - Fixed some visual issues related to the HD font (eg some symbols not showing, button misalignments, etc). - Visibility settings: You couldn't change the page when using full Mouse Support. - Compendium: Selecting a discovered item that doesn't have an associated minion would cause a crash (eg Enboned Destineous). - Doll Maker: The Souleater Dealer would offer normal minions instead of wax minions. - The Goblusious Researcher could sometimes only discover Money Bags and would sometimes not show the correct relic description. - Using the CRT Screen effect would make the HD font unreadable.

I added quite a simple system allowing you to replace any and all text in the game. You can have some fun with this, such as with a single line of code you can replace all instances of "minions" with "poopies"! The more obvious and useful use though is for full game translations. Optional full mouse support has been added. Previously you could only use the mouse for actions (eg dashing), but now all the game menus should work with the mouse cursor. You can turn on/off mouse support in the Controls -> Mouse settings.
A fully HD font has been added for if you're not a fan of pixel fonts, and is needed if you're using translations. You can turn this on in the General -> Font Type settings.
The translations, mouse support, and HD fonts, are all a bit experimental (I've never done translation stuff before especially), so let me know if you run into any problems!
A new map has been added called the Marshes of Madness. A fungal place where extra shroomy meanies are likely to spawn as well as zombie knights dredged from the bog. There's the associated score achievement for it too.
A new meta has been added called the Souleater Dealer. If unlocked a special trader will show up (like the Blacksmith Lackey) who can be given a Soul in return for an interesting ware, such as a specific minion that may be levelled up or other bits and bobs.
Previously only human meanies were able to be Blessed, but now beast meanies can be too. Blessed meanies have better fighting abilities but give more valuable bones to suck on, and are mainly used at higher difficulties to reduce the amount of meanies on screen. New Super Blessed meanies have also been added (for both human and beast), turning them yellow and boosts their abilities and rewards further, and are immune from status effects like Slowness and Hex. Super Blessed are mainly just used for very high difficulties, such as when on loop 2+ in New Game Forever or when passed the 10+ minute mark in Skirmishes.
Some misc bits and bobs... - Necrotic Skirmishes: When choosing a map the map icon is now gold and has a little gem if you have gotten a score of 66666+ using that class. - Mauseleum Hub: Added an extra colour to the coffin jewels for if you have all that classes meta. - Blacksmithy Lackey meta: He'll now show up in the Necrotic Skirmishes game mode too, but will only sell 1 relic per visit. - Compendium - Necromancy: Minions will now show their minion type next to their name. - The Joker Jester minion and Jester's Delight spell can no longer transform an enemy that is a Chest Mimic or carries a Hero Soul, Relic or Spell Scroll. - Bellow Batty minion: This is now classed as a Melee minion (to conform with its Deamonous version). - Giantan Mucusoums minion: This is now classed as a Melee minion. - Large Slime enemy: Now inflicts Poison if they touch you. - Elf Enchantresses enemy: Now fires off 5 projectiles per salvo (instead of 3). - The flames created by Lantern Handlers and Candle Phantasms upon their death will now only be created if there's less than 99 flames on the map. - Enbanishment Scroll relic: This will now give 3 Banishes (instead of 1). - Ensealment Scroll relic: This will now give 6 Seals (instead of 3). - Crooked Dice relic: This will now give 6 Re-rolls (instead of 1-6). - Sacrilegious Altar contraption: Increased how long the deamon lasts to 40-60 seconds (instead of 30-40). - Brightened the dark blue font a bit (was a bit too dark).
And some bug fixes... - Picking up bones in the Necrotic Skirmishes game mode whilst having a Virginial Bow relic would cause a crash. - The Deamonous Impling minion could cause a crash if summoned from a Sacrilegious Altar. - Enemies weren't being Blessed at high difficulties unless you had the Heavenly Intervention meta. - Stolen Divinity relic: This was blessing enemies at a much lower rate than intended. - You could cast a spell in the Mauseleum Hub. - In the Untended Townisle map the Beggar Seller event and Begger Bomber spawners were still active during boss fights. - The Bottled Fairy relic and Minion Resurrection meta weren't removing Poison. - The Blacksmith Lackey could upgrade a Forged Soul which didn't do anything. - The Deamonous Coiler minion's lightning attack didn't count towards its damage stat.

The Giant Barrower was listed as x2. - Collecting 4 Rune Arcs would create an ungodly ultra giga lightning storm. - The level 3 Scholastic Researcher meta was preventing the extra spells gained from the Sorcerer Hollow's Occulto Bookwormios meta. - The Fungal Growth contraption was increasing the Shroom Bro minion by +3. - Bottled Fairy relic: The Choose Boneraise/Relic/Spell screen was removing the extra fairy invincibility frames. - Sacrilegious Altar contraption: When used it wasn't removing a Soul meta. The summoned Deamon was counting as a legion minion which would causes issues (eg it could be sacrificed to summon a Diablos). - Beggar Seller event: You weren't given the relic even if it was real. You could move the selector down into an invisible fourth option.

Bit of a bits and bobs maintenance update this one to try and catch up a tad with all the various feedback from YOU.
A new map has been added called the Untended Townisle. It's a nice open one but the town's buildings will spawn beggar bombers to keep you on your toes. A new traveller event called the Beggar Seller will also spawn throughout runs here offering cheap relics, but it wouldn't be a useless fake relic would it surely not? The usual score achievement for it has been added too.
Relics that have some sort of numerical bonus now display this in their description. For example Ethereal Shoes will now say "boosts running speed by +10%". These numbers are also updated depending on how many duplicate relics you carry. Pretty much all of the relics have also had their max cap increased and some descriptions have changed to make it clearer what they do.
A new meta has been added called Scholastic Researcher, which adds Goblusious the goblin bookworm to the Mauseleum Hub. Some of the more powerful relics must now be unlocked by him for them to show up during a run (and gives an achievement for unlocking them all). He can also discover relics/spells you haven't yet discovered if you don't feel like hunting them down during play.
A Minion Evolution Boneways screen has been added to the Compendium and Hub which paths out the main minion upgrade paths so new players get a sense of for example how to boneraise Giants or Meldus. Boneraising various minions will fill in the trees with there being an achievement for completing it.
In the Status Screen you can now view a page showing the damage and DPS all your minions have done thus far, as well as the Run Stats page which was previously only available upon Game Over. If you have the Pro HUD setting on then selecting a minion will now also show any associated caps next to its type.
Added 5 Architect Contraptions... - Family Burial: A big old grave that comes with haunts and boosts chance to raise Boo Bros. - Fungal Growth: Causes a short lived Blight and boosts the Shroom Bro max cap. - Blood Barrel: Fills up if Human meanies are killed nearby erupting with Occult Hearts. - Lexicanium Archive: Allows you to move around your Spell Scrolls. - Sacrilegious Altar: Summon temporary random Deamonic minion at the expense of a Hero Soul meta.
Some misc bits and bobs... - Added a Traveller Event: Beggar Seller. - When choosing a map (either in the Hub or via Skirmishes) it will now show the coin/soul bonus. - Repulsive Face relic: It now has a visible aura so you can see how duplicate relics affect it. - Occult Pillar contraption: Doubled the rate they give Occult Health. - The Ginormous Pumpkin and Possessed Royal Lampelier contraptions now increase the chance of boneraising their respective Bro minions (instead of the Giant Bros). - Contraptions that require a button press to interact (eg Book Shelf) now need you to be stationary too (so you don't accidentally interact with them). - The Book of Grudges relic will no longer show up in Necrotic Skirmishes (since it's pointless).
And some bug fixes... - You could buy cards from the Card Shop even if you didn't have enough coins. Sold cards would remain bought after restarting the game. - The Fusemeld Singleton class meta wouldn't offer a Vomiter minion if you had a level 3 Joker minion. - Choosing to play a random map in Mauseluem Awakening and then restarting the run wasn't randomising the map. - The Giant Shroomush Bro minion was only being offered if you had 3+ Shroom Bros. - The Shrunken Heads relic was only increasing the Zombie Bro cap by +1. - The Ectoplasm Poop relic effects would be removed when entering a new NGF loop. - If you didn't have the Blacksmithy Lackey meta there were some events that could still give a duplicate relic. - Status Screen: The minion type name would be wrong if the Relics page was above 1.

//boneworm brainiac class changes - Added a new meta called Bossworm Basher which increases all damage against Bosses by +20% - Melee minions will now trigger an attack from further away from enemies (previously you had to be very close to attack). - Fixed an issue where melee minion attacks would often not trigger attacks against King Gigald. - Minions with ranged attacks now have a slightly randomised attack range (so minions of the same type don't always attack at exactly the same time). - Fruit Bro healing auras will now be invisible (since they will always heals you).
//misc - Aromatic Mushroom relic: This now also increases the Shroom Bro cap by +1. - Majick Doppelganger minion: When casting a Jester's Delight spell there's a chance an enemy won't be transformed (just in case he casts it early on potentially turning every enemy into a Paladin). - When viewing online leaderboards for Necrotic Skirmishes you can now change the map by pressing up/down.
//bug fixes - Psych Possessed class: If you switched to the Brainiac class then you could get stuck inside of a Giant Potoussy Bro. - Fixed a couple of spelling issues when the Ye Olde setting is on. - The new spells weren't being shown in the compendium. - Occult Pearl relic: This was giving regular health instead of occult health. - Online Leaderboards: When changing the map it wasn't updating its map name in the title.

A new class has been added called the Boneworm Brainiac. He has no need for minions, instead he absorbs the abilities of those he boneraisers using them to automatically attack meanies himself. 5 achievements have been added associated to him.
The Way Lighters enemy meta has now been split into 3 meta with 3 additional enemy types joining them. For the Torched Nightmares meta the Lantern Handlers are joined by the Candle Phantasms who fire off a trail of fire toward you. For the Elven Eyes meta the Elf Archers are joined by the Elf Enchantress who blasts magical attacks. And for the Ogre Juggernauts meta extra Ogres will arrive carrying hulking boulders to lob in your face. There's 3 new achievements for beating each of the meta enemy waves at level 2+.
Other new stuff... - Added a Giant Shroomush Bro minion, who has an increased Blight aura and fires off a salvo of magical homing projectiles. - Added a Ye Olde Talk setting which when off replaces all "thou/thee/thy" with the normal "you/your" words. - Added a new meta for the Sinned Deamologist class called Diablo Whispers, which reduces the deamon cap penalty for Diablos minions (usually a Diablos takes up 2 Deamon slots, but with this it will only take up 1 slot). - Added a new meta for the Vampire Survivor class called Raise Batspellious, which gifts a Batty Swarm spell when raising or upgrading a Bellow Batty minion. - Added 7 new relics: Shrunken Heads, Book of Grudges, Crystal Ball, Occult Pearl, Nugget Pumpkin, Potted Plant, Scope Sights. - Added 4 new spells: Blight Gout, Jester's Delight, Blessed Tidings, Regrowth Returnal.
Some misc bits and bobs... - When booting the game up for the first time it will now ask if you prefer W,S,A,D or Arrow Keys for movement, then set associated key bindings for it. - Added an Enemy Attack Outline setting (previously projectiles would use the Enemy Outline setting but now they are separate). - The Status Screen will now show what minion type it is next to its name (Melee, Ranged, Magic). - Improved the Melee Minion AI to have some autonomy in their chosen target (so less chance of them clumping together all the time). - All non-regeneration player healing will now cure poison (eg when gaining a Soul Taint relic). Player Poison is now capped to max 99, a Poison icon will now show over your head if affected and will now temporarily nullify Player Haste. - Mausoleum Hub: Killing the King will now add his crown to your throne. Extra Barrow Boners will spawn too depending on how many classes has beaten the King off. - When choosing an item (eg Boneraise) the gamepad analogue stick now has a higher deadzone threshold so you're less likely to accidentally banish/seal an item. - Class Heritage: To change class you now hold Menu Confirm and press Left/Right (so you can go back a class which previously you couldn't do). - The Gangly Escapade achievement has been changed to raising 3 Giantous Deamonous minions (as it was too similar to Sprout Escapade).
And some bug fixes... - Fixed an issue with the gamepad button icons were sometimes not showing the correct icon if they weren't set to its default. - Zombie Bros would sometimes not attack King Gigald. - Some of the Escapade achievements hadn't been updated to make use of the newer minions. - Sprout Brotato - Raise Brospellious meta: You weren't getting a spell for raising a Zombro, Shroombro, Berrybro minion. - Mausoleum Hub: The Voodoo Shaman completion gem wasn't showing. - Joker Jester minion: Transformed enemies were starting at full health. - Leechen Blades relic: Clarified its description.
