Patch v14.1

//misc
- Regular bosses (eg High Wizard) now give some score upon death.
- Elven Archers: Reduced how many archers show up in the stage. Reduced the arrow's speed, damage, and how much poison they inflict.
- Ogres and Elven Archers now have a chance of dropping gems upon death.

//bug fixes
- The Psych Skirmish Endurer achievement wasn't triggering.
- Sprout Brotato class: The Bro Compadres meta wasn't increasing the cap on Shroom Bros.
- Poison was preventing the Bottled Fairy relic and Minion Resurrection meta from healing at death which was creating oddities (their healing now ignores poison).
- The dropped bombs from Beggars Bombers didn't have an outline when the Enemy Outline option was on.

Mischievous Monday #14

Welcome back wretched. :]

A new class has been added called the Voodoo Shaman who can raise an army of rotten Zombie Bros and has an aura of various status effects. There's five new achievements associated to him.

Two new Bro minions have also been added which the Shaman makes use of. The Giant Zombroid Bro is a more dangerous form of Zombie Bro who can spit rot blobules. The Shroom Bro has an aura that inflicts Blight on meanies, which constantly but slowly reduces their health and slows them down the less health they have.

A new Heroic Force meta has been added called the Way Lighters with each level adding a different enemies in both Mauseluem Awakening and Necrotic Skirmishes. At level 1 waves of ghostly Lantern Handlers can arrive that spread flames. At level 2 Elven Archers can arrive who fire poisoned arrows, which if hit will nullify health healing until the poison runs out. And at level 3 the highly resilient hulking Ogres rumble on in.

In the Mauselum Hub, when choosing a map it will now keep track of if you've beaten that map and its highest New Game Forever loop displaying appropriate gems for them. The floor around the coffin will now also have little gems that reflects which classes are unlocked and have pounded the King right good and proper.

Some misc bits and bobs...
- Escape Menu: Added a Kill Thyself option which replicates a game over.
- Enemy projectiles will now have an outline when you have the Enemy Outline option on.
- New Game Forever: If you select to play a new loop it will now submit your current score to the online leaderboards.
- In instances were you are given a random minion it will now attempt to find a minion you have already discovered in the compendium (eg the random minions at the start of a run).
- Barrow Boners: Removed the cap on how many Boners you can raise, instead they now have a higher attack cool down based on how many you have and inflict less damage against bosses.
- If you were turned into a Snowman then you now need to press the Dash button to escape early (instead of just holding it which could lead to immediate escapes).

And some bug fixes...
- Possessed class: When possessed by the Cyclop class it was permanently replacing seals/banishes with re-rolls.
- Deamonic Sinew class meta: The Giantous Deamonous minion wasn't increasing your max health.
- Joker Jester minion: They would attempt to transform enemies that cannot be transformed (eg bosses).
- Manic Mime minion: When miming Waxen minions it wasn't showing the correct colours.
- Sinicious Ritual relic: This was increasing your max health instead of reducing it.

Patch v13.2

//misc
- Renamed the new class to Sycho Soulbound.
- The Status Screen will now always show your health and spells and the spells can be moved to for more info (previously it would only do this if you had the Pro HUD option on).
- The 'King Gigald Bosshunter Plus' has been repurposed since New Game Plus doesn't exist any more, instead you now need to beat Gigald in a New Game Forever loop.

//bug fixes
- When using the Sycho class it was triggering some achievements for the class it's currently possessed with (and some Sycho achievements wouldn't trigger if possessed).
- If you were using the Sycho class when viewing the online leaderboards it wouldn't show scores for the other classes.
- The Class Heritage screen when opened via the Compendium couldn't change class and sometimes wouldn't accept any input.
- Mausoleum Hub: Changing class in the Class Heritage screen was also changing the player class (though wasn't updating the sprite).

Mischievous Monday #13

Welcome back wretched. :]

A new class has been added called the Schizo Possessed. A pitiful ghosty who feeds upon the souls of others, but alas those devoured souls don't remain restless. Different classes on occasion will take control to possess the Schizo himself, with you gaining all the meta bonuses associated with that class during the possession. This makes for a pretty manic run and can be an unusual legion makeup as you try to maximise the perks of each class. If you can't quite remember each class meta then you can now have a look at in the Compendium. There's also 5 new achievements associated with this odd new class.

A new minion has been added called the Joker Jester who has the unique ability to transform meanies into completely random enemies. Might be useful early on for getting more resources and score, and later on will make the more difficult waves easier to beat. Levelling them up also allows them to transform bones, gems, chests, and even YOU. There's also a deamon form for max transformational chaos.

A couple of new Bro minions have been added. The voodoo Zombie Bro is a bit of a stumbler but if a bite kills a human enemy then it may raise a fresh Zombie minion to join him. The Berry Bro slowly boosts your max health by +33 after which it then explodes with an occult heartful surprise.

A couple of new class meta has been added. The Deamologist now has Fleshen Masochistism which will cancel all max health penalties during play (eg Blood Pact has no downside). The Vampire Survivor now has Batty Brew which increases the attack speed of Batty minions by +50%.

Mausoleum Awakening game mode stuff...
- Bowmen enemies have been added (they have 3 levels) who will pop up at the beginning of specific stages.
- Wizarding Seer enemies have been added who show up at the start of stage 8.
- During the Royal Guard waves the cannonballs now have a chance of being humongous balls (the chance also increases per NGF loop).
- The start of a stage will now show the stage number (so the way stages work is a bit clearer).

Necrotic Skirmishes game mode stuff...
- The new Bowmen and Wizarding Seer enemies have been added.
- Playing on a more difficult map will now give bonus coins/souls (the same as the Mauseleum Awakening).
- The Choose Map screen will now show what difficulty number the map is.

Some misc bits and bobs...
- Tweaked how quitting works in the Escape Menu so it's a bit more streamlined, and in an Awakening game mode you can now do a quick restart instead of being sent back to the hub.
- Liche Necromancer class - The Crowd Cheerleader meta now has a scaling minion cap reducing its bonus when very high (starts at 33 minions with a cap at 66).
- Boo Bro minions now do slight damage on enemies that touch them.
- The Barrowern Caress spell will now only spawn further Barrow Boners if you have less than 99 of them.

And some bug fixes...
- Viewing the Mausoleum Awakening online leaderboards from the main menu's compendium would cause a crash.
- It was possible to play a Mausoleum Awakening map you haven't unlocked yet by selecting a locked map then existing the game.
- The Item Countdown screen was behaving oddly when you chose an undiscovered item.
- The Barrow Bonebolster spell could level up a Beggar Bomber to level 3 (which doesn't do anything).
- The Blacksmith Lackey seller could cause a long pause if you had discovered very few relics.

Patch v12.3

//bug fixes
- Sprout Brotato class: If your pumpkin head exploded whilst you were casting a spell then it would endlessly loop the spell cast animation.
- Mausoleum Hub: Attempting to change the map if you hadn't reached the minimum score to unlock the first map would cause a softlock.
- The Lichemancer's Minion Resurrection meta could cause a crash if you died with a lot of non-skelly minions.
- Archetech Mode: Some of the contraptions could be unlocked without the necessary Architectural Blueprints meta level.
- It was possible to get trapped inside of a Giant Potoussy Bro if King Gigald's intro pushed you down into one.

Patch v12.2

// Mauseleum Hub - bug fixes
- Dying during a New Game Forever run wasn't reseting the NGF tag when you were sent back to the Mauseleum Hub (allowing you to continue an existing run).
- You were unable to interact with furniture if you had set the Menu Confirm action to the Status Screen key.
- Interacting with the Meta Altar from the furthest right position would create some visuals issues in the sub-menus.
- Changing character class wasn't immediately updating the hat/cloak set to that class.
- Playing as the Wretch could create some relic related strangeness (since he starts with a free relic).
- Opening then closing Archetech Mode would create overlapping music.
- Opening Archetech Mode then quiting to the Title wouldn't create the proper throne spawn event when re-entering the Hub.
- Opening the Compendium via the Hub bookcase and then pressing the Escape key would softlock you.
- Entering the game mode as the Gangly Grafted class could get you stuck in the throne (since he has a bigger collision mask).

// Sprout Brotato class - bug fixes
- If you were casting a spell at the same time as you grew a pumpkin head then it would endlessly loop the spell cast animation.
- The Raise Brospellious meta would be active even if you haven't unlocked or had forgotten it.
- Status effect icons were showing too low on the player if you had a pumpkin head.

// misc bug fixes
- The Blacksmith Lackey seller could cause a freeze if you had discovered very few relics.
- The King's intro text could overlap with an existing talk text.

Patch v12.1

//bug fixes
- The Sprout Brotato class wasn't unlocking correctly (you just need to boneraise a Giant Bro minion).
- Mauseleum Awakening: Using the Sinned Deamlogist or Gangly Grafted class in the Hub area would cause a crash.
- Mauseleum Awakening: Playing as the Fortuity Destiny map had a chance of creating a spooky empty map level.

Mischievous Monday #12


Welcome back wretched. :]

A little hub crypt has been added to the Mausoleum Awakening game mode which you'll start in before each run. Felt it'd be a bit cosier than faffing around through menus each time, and can be used for tutorials for if you're not familiar with this type of game.

The Mausoleum Awakening's New Game Plus mode has also been tweaked. Now they're just known by their map names (instead of NG+1, etc), and the maps are unlocked in the same way as they are for Necrotic Skirmishes so you can have a play around with them earlier in your playthrough. To encourage this playing on harder maps will now net you some bonus Coins and Soul meta. There's now also the option of playing a random map.

A new class has been added called the Sprout Brotato who specialises in raising and boosting Bro minion friendos, and has habit of sprouting roots and a boomy pumpkin head. There's also 5 new achievements associated to him.

The Doll Maker class has had some tweaks. They can now waxraise Beggars who can be upgraded to Beggar Bombers, and can now make use of Barrow Diggers and Giant Bro minions. The wax minion colouring has also been tweaked so they look a bit less like the human meanies.

Some misc bits and bobs...
- Melee minions will now slightly push themselves out of other touching minions (as they had a habit of getting stuck inside each other when targeting the same enemies).
- Zogziech Diablos minion: If he's close to the top/bottom of the map then the laser will now always spin towards the center of the map.
- The Game Over's Run Stats will now show the map and play time (since the time and NG+ wouldn't show on the main screen if you had meta to buy).
- Added a x2 font for the smallest text (eg when showing the number of duplicate minions/relics).
- Blacksmith Lackey: Added a delay to when the controls become active (as it was easy to accidentally buy something as soon as it popped up).
- Necromancer - Divergent Force meta: Changed it's description so it explains leveling up a skelly minion won't count.

And some bug fixes...
- Doll Maker class: You could be offered to boneraise skelly minions if you banished the level 1 Peasant.
- The Virginial Bow relic was only healing you if you had more than one of them.
- The Cadaver Coffin contraption wasn't working with the Doll Maker class minions.
- The Doll Maker class unlock text was overlapping with the regular stage description texts.

Patch v11.1

- The Cyclop Exile class will no longer be offered the Blood Pact relic (since it's pointless).
- The Doll Maker class will no longer be offered the Colossal Tooth, Meldus Flame, Sinicious Ritual relics (since they have no effect).

//bug fixes
- There was a chance your minions could get stuck inside some blocking objects (eg gravestones).
- Minions would sometimes jig on the spot if they idle near a blocking object.
- Mauseuleum Awakening: The extra champions, wizards, flag wavers, from the "I Challenge Thee", "Yer A Wizard", "Standards Unfurl" meta would stop spawning after the first boss.
- Card Shop: Moving the selector below the minimum page or above the maximum page would cause a crash.
- Switching between the Card Shop and Card Collection could causes oddities or a crash.
- Doll Maker class: Their minions would sometimes struggle to hit bosses as they would run too far below them.
- Doll Maker class: The "Waxenmould Flag Waver" and "Waxenmould Fanatic" meta would offer the oppoisite minions.
- The Barrow Bonebolster spell would sometimes target a minion that could not be leveled up which created oddities.
- The Visibility help tip would reset each time you booted up the game.
