Update 9/21


  • Boo Men will spawn where there is most recent paranormal activity
  • Glow stick will slowly drain and can be recharged in the light. This is to help counter speed-runs
  • Fixed some spawn locations for items
  • Other minor details not cool enough to be listed

Small Update 9/18


  • Added Free mask for all early access purchases!
  • Hard/Insane mode breaker power usage now starts mostly drained, causing a FIRST power outage early.
  • Reduced chance of safe spawning
  • Fixed 'Sprint' axis mapping not applying

Minor Update: 9/17


  • Fixed multiplayer door replication bug
  • Now only one member of your party needs to escape for everyone to win
  • Fixed sound settings on main menu
  • Fixed some paintings not being able to be picked up
  • Other minor bug fixes

(Small Fix)

Fixed bug in market where "Green Ghouls" mask would reset your money to 0.

Update 9/17

Current fixes and changes include:

  • Increased FOV to 90
  • Increased glow stick radius
  • Disabled motion blur
  • Leroy Est. map is now free
  • Significantly reduced chance of getting Edith
  • Removed head bob when spectating
  • Slightly reduced movement speed of Edith
  • Fixed interactions when crouching
  • Removed broken achievements (for now)
  • Reduced grace period and number of lights allowed for each difficulty setting
  • Removed kick option from the lobby (Use 'invite only' to host private sessions)
  • Updated widgets to not overlap if 4th player joins lobby

Known Issues


Current bugs I plan to fix over the course of the next several days:

  • Removing broken achievements (temporarily)
  • Head bob while spectating
  • Issues with escaping if someone dies
  • Sometimes only 7 items will spawn no matter the difficulty or player count
  • Keeping the party together after each round
  • Settings not loading correctly
  • Players needing to sometimes restart the game in order to join servers
  • Ghost glitching
  • Door replication issues when opened by a ghost
  • Lobby widgets overlapping 4th player


Fixes


Gameplay changes I plan to update over the next several days:

  • Increased glow stick radius
  • Increased FOV
  • Reduce chance of spawning Edith
  • Increase network bandwidth for 4-player games
  • Increased outdoor visibility for Riverglen map


Quality of Life


Gameplay features I plan to add over the next several days:

  • Extra settings to include FOV slider, motion blur, and enable/disable head bob, VSync
  • Drastically increase variety of items
  • Reduce number of lights by 1 for each difficulty setting
  • "The Leroy Estate" map will be free
  • Adjustments made to the store pricing
  • Reduce grace period
  • Increase difficulty for 4-player games
