Today's update is a follow up to the one from yesterday. Since the changelog from yesterday got lost I will list it here as well:
- Workshop items can now be updated
- Vehicle thumbnails can be taken from custom camera angles both in the editor and while driving
- All motors have more power
- Electric motor is the fastest now, best choice for dragsters
- Fixed revers gear glitch
Small Update
Another update for today. Actuators now stay in the position they were left in and a linear actuator (hydraulic pistol) was added. Furthermore coupling multiple vehicles with engines together was fixed and vehicles will spawn properly now regardless of the seat rotation.
Driving physics overhaul
Hey!
I know a lot of you were complaining about the slippery driving physics, so I had a look at it and found the main issue that was causing it. Together with the new and more realistic motor simulation driving is now stable even at higher speed levels!
For the people who like to play around with multiple steering axles I implemented a feature that allows you to set the center steering axle while driving. Just hold your right mouse, look at an axle, press E and you will see how it works.
Workshop integration!
Hello!
With the latest update from today, Brick Rigs now officially supports the Steam Workshop!
Go try it out right now, upload some cool creations or have a look at what other players built!
Update time!
Hey!
Today I fixed some more of the bugs and glitches players experienced. These include:
- Vehicles with actuators randomly exploding (especially GravelTruck.brv)
- Some vehicle spawning in ground when repaired
- Game crashing when the winch hook caught fire
- Large actuator's connectors not in right position
I hope this further improves the flow of the game. If you discover more bugs please report them.
And keep an eye out for future updates, multiplayer is in the works ;)
