Fixed a bug that prevented the use of the trade menu after meeting other civilizations.
Finally 1.0!
Finally!
I'm not going to hide it from you, getting here wasn't the easiest thing I had to do. Developing a game on your own (especially a 4X) is a tiring experience, even traumatic in some ways. Besides, last year was really a shit year, I think we all agree on that point. But we got there! The game has finally reached maturity! So, yes this 1.0 is probably less ambitious than I hoped when this journey started. But in truth, knowing what to add and what to take away to become cohesive and fun is the part of any indie game.
The important thing is that 1.0 is here! And that in no way means the end of this adventure. Rather, we finally have a good basis to start intelligently growing the game.
Without waiting and as the night was rather short for me, here is (for the moment) a summary of what contains this 1.0.
- Translations! (Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese / Brazilian, German and French) - New content! (Mainly mid and end game) - Rebalancing of game systems - All known bugs are fixed! - Better game performance (passing turns, much faster) - Better support for different screen formats - And some little surprises ...
So! I will now go and rest for a few hours. The game hit a good wishlist level (around 9k). Steam's algorithm decides life and death for small projects, and it loves reviews. If you want to give this game a future, now is the time!
Whatever happens, I wish you the best.
Tyler.
Now with steam cards!
Everything is in the title, I wish you happy end of year holidays!
Tyler.
Update B13 !
Finally, it had been a long time! This is a small balancing and bug fixing update that had been hanging around for some time but it is mainly the return of regular updates, which will allow to "smooth" the base game up to the arrival of 1.0.
It is also an opportunity for me to wish you happy holidays (Sorry for the poor editing haha) at this very special time and to thank those who continue to support the game.
Also in the next few days the Burned Land Steam trading cards will arrive!
