Rain has been added to Bus World with the newest update. Finally, you can use windshield wipers on their original purpose!
Rainy weather awaits you in Free Mode (it can be set by the game randomly) and in two scenarios: Blocked railway crossing and Night Storm.
Also, we fixed some errors that were found in previous versions.
The next update will feature the selection of desired weather in Free Mode, so stay tuned!

Chornobyl map expansion is finished, new bus stops are implemented. Now it's time for two new scenarios. We'll release this update when they are done.

Chornobyl expansion is almost finished!
We are finishing our work on Chornobyl expansion. Now it's being tested, after which we'll work on implementing two new scenarios which will use this territory.
There will be 14 new bus stops in Free Mode, all of which will be on dirt roads. Of course, there are not many passengers in the forest, but ones who wish to see the nature closer will be able to drive such route.

Update 1.4.4 is available!
Important update 1.4.4 is now available. Here's what we changed:
- Added smoke coming from the exhaust. - Added automatic calculation of time interval between stops in Free Mode. It's calculated based on the distance between stops. - Passengers now walk in different directions after leaving the bus. - Fixed missing needles on OSB-3101's gauges. - Improved camera logics. Now you won't be able to look inside the buildings and other objects. - Adjusted lighting in Chornobyl. - Fixed a problem that caused passengers' mood indicator not to show sometimes. - Hands of the driver are now correctly positioned the steering wheel. - Third person camera is now fixed in one position, if mouse steering is enabled. If player holds right mouse button, wheel controls are locked, and camera is unlocked. - UI now should work better on monitors with aspect ratio of 32:9.

We are now working on rain drops and wipers functionality. The in-progress appearance is shown on the screenshots. It's not an easy task, but we hope to bring the full-fledged rainy weather in one of the updates.

The next location is Iceland!
The next location for Bus World will be... Iceland!
We're happy to announce that we're now working on the new map for the game. Iceland is a unique country with its own unrepeatable atmosphere. Unusual landscape, volcanoes and geysers - all of this will await you on this location. As always, there will be both Free Mode and Scenarios where you'll deal with unusual situations.
The map will be added to the base game. It means that everyone who owns Bus World will get it for free. The release is scheduled to the second half of 2023.

Patch 1.4.2 for Bus World is now available on Steam.

Here's what was changed in the latest version: - Difference between number of passenger in regular time of day and peak hour is now more noticeable - Removed traffic lights from the intersection near Pripyat bus station as they weren't there in reality. - Dust now does not change its color under different camera angles - "Wildfire near Duga" scenario now unlocks after completing "Red Forest" - Fixed various problems with selecting buses in Free Play - Fixed inability to get achievement for unlocking all buses - In OSB Mir, passengers no longer have their heads clipping over the roof of the bus - Fixed a problem with material of the dirt road in the last scenario of Southern China - Fixed the problem that caused too much damage to be dealt to the bus when driving the wooden bridge in the same scenario - Fixed "Red Lightning" livery for KM Traveller - Fixed some texts in Czech and Polish translations - Fixed a typo in Russian locale of Marathon scenario - Other minor fixes
