Added a setting in the menu that enables you to turn off the rod recentering when playing a fish.
Added 'Quick Select' inputs to allow selection of the rods and bait boat via a key instead of using the select menu. Again, if they're not working please enter the controls menu and either reset the controls or remap them to the inputs you require. By default they are 1,2,3,4,5,6 and attaching rigs to the bait boat has been moved to the number pad numbers 1,2,3,4. Feel free to change them as you require.
Note: No defaults have been assigned to a controller as there are not enough buttons to make this comfortable but feel free to change as you see fit.
More bugs fixed & added throwing loosefeed
Fixed resolution & full screen bugs
Fixed online bug where player couldn't select equipment
Made peg details and marker rod display easier to see
Throwing loosefeed is now working.
To throw loosefeed Press and hold T or B button on controller and release when you have enough power. If you find this doesn't work you'll need to goto the controls menu from the main menu and either reset all the controls or enter what key you want to use manually at the bottom of the peg selected category.
Added control mapper
Added Control Mapper option on the main menu, click the controls button.
Bug fixes
Look Sensitivity Slider can be lowered more & also added another Slider to the settings menu as well as the pause menu
Fixed character models still spawning when switched off in the settings
Fixed leaderboard not hiding when pressing L or releasing fish
Finally, the update is released!
Hey all, v2.2.5 is now available.
If you've played the mobile version you'll notice it's very similar with the following differences:
No IAPs, all items can be purchased via in game coins, all coins are earned from catching fish.
Multiplayer is unlocked by default and yes, it's cross platform so you can play with those on mobile.
Graphics are higher resolution. They could be better and I'll work on improving them in the near future
Your mobile data is not compatible with the Steam version of the game.
Game has full controller support as well as mouse/keyboard
There are still some known issues I have to fix/add. These include:
No way to change your controls
Pinetree lake is remastered on PC and so is not able to be played online against anyone on mobile until the mobile version is also updated
Leaderboards in your profile page do not work yet
I plan on posting the controls in the Community, but eventually I'll add in game prompts etc
As always please report any bugs/issues on the Steam community and hope you enjoy it!
Your input is needed!
Hey everyone, as you know the game is in Early Access, this means I'm still working on the game and you are welcome to offer your feedback to help shape the game.
Right now there is about 10 active people giving me feedback in the community. Not many at all.
Please pop over to the community and answer some of the questions in the posts and help make this the best fishing simulation possible.
Thanks
Latest info - 23rd June 2017
Work continues on the updated version of CFS. I hope to release an opt in beta as soon as possible. As some of you know, this will be a complete rewrite of the game you are currently able to play.
I've been posting videos and screenshots of my progress in the community, so i suggest you visit that and take a look at what's to come, I hope you like what you see!
New version of CFS
Hi all,
As some of you may know and have been testing an update to v1 of CarpFishSim which includes lots of new features from the mobile version.
This version is now the default version and all other test versions are at the moment removed until there is a new test version for you to try.
All players will now be on the same version.
Don't forget that if you get stuck in game, press F1 to see what the keys are.
Tight lines.
What's going on?
Hello all, some of you may notice it's a little quiet. Don't worry though, work is continuing full time but at the moment they are on things that take more time, new venues being one of them. This means that it will be some time before a new update will be released, but when that update is released there will be some new venues to try at least.
Thanks for your patience.
Build 21 is now online
Build 21 is now online and contains a lot of changes both in what you can see and 'under the bonnet' that you can't see, as a result of this please report any bugs here & they shall be squashed.
What's new:
New networking. The networking has been completely overhauled and now you will see other players around the lake. This is bound to still be buggy so please give your feedback as constructively as possible.
Venue editor. The venue editor is available under the create option on the menu, there hasn't been anything new added since the video below was released but it will give you an idea of what to expect. You can walk around your lake but you can't catch fish yet. Again your feedback is welcome.

Menu system. The old menu system has been updated to give a cleaner feel.
