First off we want to wish the new Carthians joining us in 2025 some great adventures, and thank you for giving our small indie game a chance. For you old adventurers thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support, bug reports, and standing by us this past half a year.

What does this Patch Bring?
~Good Bye winter and hello spring!
~Changed the starting dates from away from winter (no more snow)
~UI changes in starting menu

~Fixed bug with using numbers to select dialogue option

~Post FX work (changing of seasons needed adjustments to overall Post FX)

What are we planning next?
Normal life has its ups and downs, and the past few months have brought with it some downs. We are still continuing with Carth normal work towards our ultimate goal, but at a reduced pace. Hoping as things begin to settle down a bit can get back to faster development. Thank you all again for the support and hope you have a great spring Sale.

We want to thank all of you for the support during the year. As a very small 2 man team Carth has slowly moved forward since release. We are proud of the progress of Carth and look forward to continued development into 2025. This winter update bring with it so much needed bug fixes, and new content for you all to enjoy. What are we planning next?
We plan to continue forward working on Carth as we always had. Some of the major things we hope to accomplish in the coming months are: Hired Mercenary System, Party system, Medical and injury systems. Most of these systems have already been created and are soon to be brought forward to the testing team for the first round of bug hunting. Thank you all again and happy holidays Carthians

Carth 0.1.7c is Now Live

This update brings utilization of many more of the skills in game with behind the scenes rolls. We are excited now that harvesting, mining, wood cutting and other skills are actually being used. Random rolls taking into account the players correct skills will result in better loot drops. Luck skill has been brought into consideration around the game and more will come as we continue development. We also tackled many small bugs that the community reported. We hope you all have a great Halloween and end of fall season. Thank you all as always.

What are we planning next?
Polishing and Quality of Life enchantments are also at the top of our list. Mercs shall be coming back to Carth soon. Medical system shall come near the beginning of the year. There were a few major bugs that were hiding out in our code that got addressed this patch.

This past week we tackled a lot of bugs reported by the community (thank you all). On top of that we returned to polishing the game, and normal development. We have added new tiered enemies around Wolfingan and Daershire bringing new spells, and dangers as you explore. We tackled through a ton of bugs and issues this week thanks to our amazing community members posts in our discord forum. One of the best new features is numeric dialogue options and key binds to choose them. In basic terms you can use your 1-9 keys to choose your dialogue options now. There are dozens of other tweaks, bug fixes, and improvements with this weeks patch. Thank you all for the support Carthians it truly would not be possible without you all.

We again made some major tweaks and improvements to the world of Carth. Lighting, depth, shadows, clouds, visual Lut intensity all coming together and bringing a better feel to the game (especially to those whom are just starting). Carth has different areas throughout the maps that the Post Processing and visuals change leaning into the darkness and quiet of a cave, the gloom of a swamp, or a bit brighter skies in your intro. We hope you all enjoy the new updates and the work we are putting into the game. Thank you all for the support, bug reports, and feedback. Being just two developers we really rely on the community a lot.
