Management

Sometimes especially at the beginning of your casino, there is some office work or a repair that needs to be done and you don't have the budget for a hire. So your CEO needs to wear different types of hats and get things done. You can assign your CEO to different kinds of jobs from cleaning to marketing to achieve that.

Requests

From time to time your CEO can come up with some requests like "I want a bookshelf in my office". And if you met these needs you will get some income buffs.

That's about it! Please let me know in the Discord ( https://discord.gg/2y5eXn3ubs ) or in the comments if you want to know something more specific.

I wish everyone a great day and hope to see you at the next post!

About CRT #7 | Waste Management

Hello everyone!
I know, we have 15 more topics to cover on About CRT before the EA launch and I'm kind of lagging behind.
We are currently spending every waking hour on closed beta&demo but I will definitely create time to write the remaining posts.

So today's topic is waste management in Casino Resort Tower.

Almost anything related to the consumption of an inventory item or things like construction is going to create some waste.
People in your casino hotel are going to use trash cans to dispose of it, but some of them are going to end up on the floor if your trash cans are full or you don't have them enough.

Full trash cans and trashes on the floor decrease the cleanliness value of the room and drop your hotel rating.

Trash Cans - Dumpsters

Trash cans can be put around the hotel and used by your employees and customers. Dumpsters are placed in garbage rooms, and they are used by your janitors to put the trash they picked around your hotel while cleaning floors and emptying trash cans. Trash cans have a much lower capacity compared to dumpsters.

Janitors - Detergents&Garbage Bags

Janitors get detergents and trash bags from janitorial rooms if you have them in your inventory first. After that, they collect trash by cleaning floors and emptying trash cans, then dump it into dumpsters you have in your garbage room if they have the available capacity.

Waste Collectors

Waste collectors come every day to pick up trash from your dumpsters. And they leave after all of them is empty. They are not one of your employees, same as builders and delivery persons.

So yeah, this is the general logic behind it.
Please let me know if you want to learn anything more specific.
And don't forget to join our discord to be part of the sweet community that we are building.

I will see you in the next post, cheers!

About CRT #6 | Research

Today's post is about the research system in Casino Resort Tower, so here we go.

Research documents are kind of a currency in CRT as I mentioned in the last post. Every document can be produced by your CEO but if you want steady production of them, you will need offices.

You can use research documents in events that we are going to cover in a future post. But the main and obvious usage is doing research.

There are 6 main research trees. So let's go through each one of them.

Casino Research Tree

You can research items like card tables, slot machines, dice tables, keno machines, bingo desks, etc. by casino research tree. But the important part is researching different kinds of games. Because every gambler has a favorite game and they will be extra happy if you have that game available.

Cuisine Research Tree

You can research cafe services, restaurant services, bar services, vending machines, vendor services via cuisine research tree. You can also research menu items (snacks, appetizers, cocktails, main courses, tobacco products, hot drinks, cold drinks) to create delicious menus for your customers. We will also talk about managing your menus in a future post.

Amenities Research Tree

The amenities research tree is for researching casino hotel services like gym, gaming room, sauna, massage room, souvenir shop, meeting room, and the items needed for them. You know It's about the amenities part of a casino hotel.

Hotel Research Tree

The hotel research tree can be used to research different types of hotel rooms and items needed for them. From beds, wardrobes to minibars, nightstands, safe boxes. If you are creating a presidential hotel room it will need a lot. You can also research the facilities needed for a hotel service; laundry room, reception, and so on.

Facilities Research Tree

Utilities, offices, inventory, waste management, security. Facilities are the backstage services needed to run your casino hotel. So you can research everything related to it from this research tree.

Transportation Research Tree

Transportation is about how people can come to your casino hotel. Taxi, bus, parking, metro services can be researched using this research tree so you create spaces for transportation at your hotel's basement.

That's it for this post. I think the next one will be about waste management, then we will talk about offices a little more while going through finance and human resources.

Let me know in the comments or from the discord server if you want to hear something more specific.
Have an awesome day, cheers!

About CRT #5 | Marketing

Hello! Today's post is about marketing in Casino Resort Tower.

Marketing Campaigns

You can start radio, flyer, podcast, social media, television marketing campaigns to create hype about your casino. More hype means more gamblers at your casino and that means more money. But be careful; if most of them leave your casino unhappy, your hotel rating will drop. You will have to correct things and wait for it to go back up or start a marketing campaign again.

Billboards

You can also get advertisements to put around your casino to earn some extra money. You first need to put billboards around your hotel. That way you can get advertisement contracts from companies. These contracts demand a certain place like a lounge, bus stop, reception, and they also come with a deadline.

Marketing Documents

To do anything related to marketing, you will need marketing documents. Documents are kind of a 'currency' in CRT that you can use while doing managerial things. There are currently four types of documents: Marketing, Accounting, Research, HR. We will talk about the other 3 of them in future posts.

Marketing documents are created by marketing specialists. So you need to build marketing offices with work desks, whiteboards, copiers and hire marketing specialists to create marketing documents for your archive.

I guess this covers the general logic of marketing in CRT. Let me know in the comments if you want to hear something more specific.

Oh, there will be a closed beta soon. Join CRT Discord Server if you want to participate.

About CRT #4 | Utilities

Hello hello!

We are working heavily on the demo so there were no posts in the last 2-3 weeks. I've planned around 20 posts to cover what mechanics/content will be available at the Early Access launch. And there is not much time left so I will post much more frequently from now on.

Anyways, today we are going to talk about utilities!

There are currently 4 types of utility systems in CRT: Electricity, Water, Sewage, Internet.
Each utility system has 3 parts: Producers, Consumers, Connectors.

Let's go through each one.

System Parts

Connectors

Connectors are items like pipes, tubes, wires, and cables. They are used for, you guessed it, connecting producers and consumers. Every connector group forms utility lines. If a utility line exceeds a certain volume it will shut down. To prevent this you need to research high-capacity connectors with your research documents and replace them. Or you can also keep your utility lines separate by checking their volume.

Producers

Producers are items like water pumps, transformers, servers. They will produce the utility needs of your consumers.

Consumers

Consumers are basically items that need a utility type(s) to function. It can be anything from a CCTV camera to a shower cabin.

Utilility Types

Electricity

Electricity is the most commonly used utility type. Office desks, hand dryers, lamps, fridges; you know most of the items can't function without electricity.

Producers:

  • Small Transformer
  • Transformer
  • Large Transformer

Connectors:

  • Wire
  • High Capacity Wire

Sewage

If there is water there is also sewage. Most of the items like shower cabins, dishwashers, toilet cabins, sinks use water but also need a sewage system to function properly.

Producers:

  • Small Sewage Pump
  • Sewage Pump
  • Large Sewage Pump

Connectors:

  • Sewage Tube
  • High Capacity Sewage Tube

Water

Water is mostly needed at spas, kitchens, restrooms.

Producers:

  • Small Water Pump
  • Water Pump
  • Large Water Pump

Connectors:

  • Water Pipe
  • High Capacity Water Pipe

Internet

Internet is generally used by offices with items like office desks, copiers.

Producers:

  • Small Server Rack
  • Server Rack
  • Large Server Rack

Connectors:

  • LAN Cable
  • High Capacity LAN Cable

Yeap, that's it for now. Let me know in the comments if you want to hear something more specific.
Cheers!
