Hello Everyone!
Here is some news;
- We are no longer getting any new applications for the playtest. I'm going to send keys to the people who've applied in the past couple of days today (If they have also joined the CRT Discord Server).
- We postponed the end date of the playtest to April 10th and the EA release date to April 12th. We will continue to make rapid daily fixes and changes to the playtest build for the next six weeks.
- New About CRT posts, screenshots, and an early access trailer is coming soon.
I also want to thank everyone who joined the playtest and for every precious feedback!

About CRT #12 | Food & Drink Services
Let's talk about different ways you can serve some food and drinks to your guests at your casino hotel.
Restaurants
Restaurants are a nice fine dining service that you can provide to your guests while getting high-profit margins. Well-off and middle-class customers are more likely to choose restaurants over vending machines.
Bars
People love to have a few drinks especially in the evening and at the weekends. You can build bars and even organize bar events for your customers.
Cafes
It's a good idea to extend your business by building a place for people who want to have some coffee in the morning. Cafes are also nice places to sell some desserts to your guests too.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are the most basic food and drink service you can give to your customers and also to employees on the break. You can start selling snacks and drinks just by placing vending machines around your casino hotel and filling up your storage with goods.
Vendors
You can hire vendors and assign them to patrol routes or rooms. They walk around with the menu items you have assigned and cause your customers to make some impulsive overpriced snack and drink purchases on the spot.
Mini Bars
Mini bars are like vending machines you can put into hotel rooms. You can store some snacks and drinks in your inventory, and add them to the mini bar menu for the guest that loves to have some mini crackers or drinks before going to bed.
Menus Management
Every cuisine service has its own menu that you can manage. You can make your menus more classy and increase your hotel rating by researching menu items with high rating points and adding them to your relevant menus. Every menu item needs one or more inventory items to be created by your employees so keep an eye on your inventory while expanding your food and drinks services. You can check the "About CRT 3: Inventory" if you want to learn more.

About CRT #11 | Transportation
Hello! We have been silently working on early access playtest for a while but I think it's time for another About CRT post.
Oh, also I thank you for your interest in Casino Resort Tower during the Steam Fest! It was awesome!
Let's talk about today's About CRT topic: Transportation!
Every customer has a favorite means of transportation in CRT. Their preferences are also affected by their wealth. Customers are more likely to prefer the bus, subway, or walking if they are poor. And they are more likely to prefer their cars or taxis if they are well-off. Having all of the options for the customers increases the casino hotel's rating so it means more customers and more money.
Bus Stops
You can rent and schedule different types of buses according to demand. There are three different types of buses. A shuttle bus is the smallest bus you can rent for start or for hours with low demand, a single deck bus is the mid-size standard bus, and the articulated bus is the biggest bus you can rent for rush hours.
Subway Stations
You can rent two, three, or four wagon subway trains and schedule them to come up every other hour. You should manage it carefully so you don't lose money by renting unnecessary trains. If there is enough demand you should earn some profit.
Parking Lots
You can build parking lots underground and place parking spaces for the people who want to come to the casino hotel in their car. Some of the customers just leave without spending any money if all of your parking spaces are full so it's nice to keep an eye on that. You can also earn some extra money from parking if you didn't order parking service to be free from the Policies menu.
Taxi Ranks
After you build a taxi rank, you can rent up to four taxis for each shift. Taxis wait at the rank during the time you rent for a customer to pick up from the hotel or another address.

About CRT #10 | Policies
Smoking Policies
Some of the customers and employees are smokers. You can decide where people can smoke with smoking policies for the customers and employees separately. If you let everyone smoke anywhere it will make non-smokers unhappy. If you ban smoking completely it will make smokers unhappy. Smoking rooms come in handy if you have researched and placed them around.
Service Hours
You can choose the service hours for the services you provide at your casino hotel. Each service can be open on the morning shift, night shift, or 24 hours if it's not closed. You should also make sure that there are enough employees on the related shifts.

Employee Policies
Currently, there are three different employee policies.
Employee break policies
You can decide on when your employees go on breaks with employee break policies.
Employee parking policies
You can choose policies for the employees who own a car. They will only park in the employee parking spaces if you choose to but walking to work because all of the employee parking spaces are full will make them unhappy quickly.
Employee locker policies
After you build employee locker rooms, you can set a policy to let them change into their uniforms at the casino hotel instead of at home. This will increase their job happiness.
So yes, your casino your rules!

About CRT #9 | Maintenance
We all know that the shiny new things you buy eventually break. It's one of the annoying things in life. Well, this rule also applies to the items in Casino Resort Tower. Every item has a maintenance value and the item breaks and becomes unusable if it's zero. You can sell it and buy a new one but it will be costly so repairing them regularly is the best option.
Every room also has a maintenance value based on items it contains and this value affects your hotel rating.
Maintenance People
Repairs/maintenance can be done by maintenance officers. But it can be costly to hire maintenance officers if you are just starting. So if you have broken items and no budget you can always assign your CEO to do some repair work.
Maintenance Inventory
To do repairs, people need to get tools from the maintenance office.
So always make sure you have some tools in the storage.
