Our beta server has a new change that we hope players will find useful.

Is there anything else you'd like to see in CMZ's console text?
Update 1.9.7.5 is live! Want extra pockets for the things you love?
- We added a second Item tray! Toggle between trays by pressing G.
- By popular request, you are now able to rebind the Number keys.
- Fixed mouse sensitivity slider to work as expected.
- Right clicking on doors while holding a pickaxe will no longer harvest them.
- Added an option to not have the second item tray faded. Helps performance.
- Fixed the Space Rock in loot blocks to be useful in crafting.
- Survival mode loot block rate was reduced again. We're considering turning it way down and leaving Scavenger mode as the choice for loot blocks.
Curious about that second item tray? Here's a dev post talking about it:

Update 1.9.7 is out. Try out Teleport Stations and Iron Doors!
Teleport Stations are expensive-to-build blocks that allow players to create a network of outposts they can teleport between. We envision this as a long term goal that will hopefully make lesser ingredients such as copper and rock continue to matter. There are 3 different recipes to give flexibility in constructing teleports.
Each player must build their own teleport stations as each block is encoded to the builder. Only the builder can dig them up and move them to a new location. You need to place 2 teleport blocks to be able to benefit from this technology.
Other Changes:
- By popular demand, Dust has been removed from digging.
- By even more popular demand, we bring you: Iron Doors!
- Ore now stacks up to 255. No more 64 stack limits.
- We're experimenting with a slightly larger explosion radius on regular Rockets.
Loot Block Balancing:
- Reduced the number of drops per lucky loot block.
- Reduced the spawn frequency of lucky loot blocks.
- Reduced the drop rate of the better guns.
- Downgraded the Bloodstone LMG drop to Diamond LMG.
1.9.7 is now in Beta. Let's test Teleport Stations!
UPDATE: 1.9.7.1 - fixes for beta build
- No more door cloning by digging underneath the door.
- Old worlds will no longer crash if you mine a door.
- Respawn beacons *should* work between game sessions. We are no longer able to reproduce this issue.
- We'll be going live with this build soon! Please share any feedback on teleport building costs or issues with the build.
Teleport Stations are expensive-to-build blocks that allow players to create a network of outposts they can teleport between. We envision this as a long term goal that will hopefully make some of the lesser ingredients continue to have value. There are 3 different recipes to give flexibility in constructing these costly items. We're eager to hear feedback about the costs and benefits or drawbacks of this new block.

Update 1.9.6 is live! Discover loot blocks in Scavenger mode!
- Loot blocks can be opened with pickaxes or explosions to find random items.
- There are common (blue) and rare (gold) loot blocks.
- Gold loot blocks require a gold pickaxe or better to open.
- Survival and Exploration loot blocks are primarily underground and on sky islands.
- The new Scavenger mode has more frequent loot blocks.
- Endurance and Dragon Endurance mode have no loot blocks.
Other changes:
- Block stack sizes have been increased to 999.
- Spawn beacons now work underground!
Loot blocks! Update 1.9.6 is available for beta testing!
Loot blocks are scattered randomly through the world. Break open blue blocks for a random item. Seek out the rarer golden blocks for piles of loot.
There's only one way to find out what's inside! Well, aside from using lasers and explosions, of course.
For testing feedback, we need to determine if the drop rates feel good, and which game modes are appropriate for loot blocks.
Please let us know what you think!
- We also fixed spawn beacons to work underground.
Loot blocks! Update 1.9.6 is available for beta testing!
UPDATE:
We've modified Loot Blocks based on everyone's feedback. We'll do another short beta pass to get further feedback before this goes live.
- Added Scavenger mode with high frequency loot blocks (similar to 1.9.6)
- Survival and Exploration mode loot blocks have been reduced as follows:
* Loot blocks will not spawn on surface sand or snow.
* Lucky Loot blocks only spawn deeper under ground or at very high altitudes (sky islands)
* You should find loot blocks are much rarer now. Perhaps too rare!
- Loot Block glow reduced by 50%.
- Loot Blocks do not spawn in Endurance/Dragon Endurance mode.
- Creative Mode uses the Scavenger mode settings for now.
- Lucky Loot blocks give 1 less loot.
- Lucky Loot blocks require a Gold pickaxe to open.
- Rare item frequency has been reduced.
- Diamond guns have been replaced by Gold guns in the loot table.
The changes really comes down letting people who like the old challenge use Survival mode and people who love loot hunting the new way can play Scavenger mode. We'll adjust these further (and expand the loot tables) in future updates.
More feedback is encouraged!

Update 1.9.5 is live. Use stamina to sprint and double jump!
Our stamina/energy system is finally here!
- Hold Left Shift to sprint.
- Jump a second time while in air to go further!
- Stamina cannot be used in either Endurance mode.
- If you go to 0% stamina, there is a short recovery before you can use stamina again.
We will be expanding upon the uses of stamina in future builds. We will also be looking into features that let you improve your sprint duration, regeneration rate, and so forth.
