Wow, can you believe Catlateral Damage launched a year ago? Since then, the game has received several new content updates and tweaks, a PS4 version, and now a VR version for the HTC Vive! To celebrate, the game will be 50% off from now until the end of the month.
The VR version is free DLC to anyone who owns the base game. If you have a Vive, just download the DLC and you’ll be able to choose between the regular version or the VR version when you launch the game. If you don’t have a Vive, the DLC won’t take up any extra space on your computer or interfere with your enjoyment of the regular game. The regular game also received a small update that carries over some changes from the PS4 version.
As always, thanks for playing and keep on being the best cats you can be! ːhappynippyː

Happy Pawlidays!
v1.0.5 - December 22, 2015
A winter holiday update has just been released! This update includes a small new bonus level: the Pawliday Den! This one-room level contains a large tree that the humans brought in and decorated for some reason, plus a nice warm fireplace and tons of gifts filled with upgrades. And if you look closely, you might just see some snow outside! Oh, and all upgrades in other levels have decorative bows on them for the month of December.
In addition to this new level, there have been several bug fixes (apparently crouching was broken again?!). If you find any more, please report them!
Happy Pawlidays!

v1.0.4 Release Notes
v1.0.4 - October 26, 2015
A new Halloween level is now available. Welcome to the Furightful Lab!
I've added a brand new bonus level just in time for Halloween! This level is a basement laboratory filled with potions, science equipment, and other spooky things to swat onto the floor. To access it, look for a Jack-o'-lantern in regular levels (which show up more frequently in October) or select it in Litterbox Mode. Thanks to our friends Jason Wiser at Yaya Play Games for creating the furniture and physics object art for this level and Brandon Ellis for creating another awesome music track!
Along with this level, I've also upgraded the project to Unity 5. This upgrade includes an improved physics engine, so performance should be a bit better when there are lots of objects on the floor (like during extended periods of supermarkat destruction). There are also some lighting differences and other changes, but these should be less noticeable. Although I fixed a ton of bugs related to the upgrade, there may be some that slipped through the cracks. If you happen to see something odd, don't hesitate to fill out a bug report form!
Here are the full release notes:
+ Added a new bonus level: The Furightful Lab!
* Upgraded the project to Unity 5 for improved physics and other improvements.
* Tweaked Objective Mode scoring based on player feedback.
* Updated the soundtrack with the new music track.
* Fixed various bugs.
* Probably tweaked/changed some other small things I'm forgetting.
Happy Pawlloween!

v1.0.3 Release Notes
v1.0.3 - September 1, 2015
Hey everyone!
The latest update for Catlateral Damage is now available! This one includes a bunch of cool new stuff for you to play around with.
First off, I’ve added several new objects to knock over based on other great indie games like Guacamelee!, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and Goat Simulator. (You can check out all the cameos in this album.) In addition to these cameos, I’ve also added a new bonus level: the Box Purradise! This level is made up of tons of cardboard boxes and has lots of cat food and toys to swat at. There may be upgrades and power-ups hidden within the different box structures, too.
That’s not all! There are also a couple new features in this update. In Objective Mode, the scoring structure has changed from an infinite stream of levels to just 4 (plus any bonus levels you encounter). Bonus levels now give more points at the end and don’t stop your progression if you don’t complete their objectives. So keep an eye out for those special keys to get some bonus points! You also get bonus points for time left over when you complete an objective. Your highest score after completing all levels is then recorded so you can compete with others.
In Litterbox Mode, you can now select the level type you want to play, rather than just playing the same sequence of levels from Objective Mode without a timer or objectives. (For this reason, Litterbox scores are no longer sent to the Steam leaderboards.) You can also load previously saved levels this way. If you find a level layout you like in either Objective Mode or Litterbox Mode, you can pawse the game and select “Save Level” to be able to play in it again in Litterbox Mode.
On top of all this, the game now has full Japanese localization thanks to Kakehashi Games! You can switch between English and Japanese in the Options menu under the “Other” tab. Of course, this update also includes a bunch of tweaks and bug fixes to improve the overall experience.
And with that, here are the full release notes:
+ Added 23 cameo objects for knocking over
+ Added the ability to save levels from the pawse menu and load them in Litterbox Mode
+ Added full Japanese language localization
+ Added a keyboard shortcut to switch between fullscreen and windowed modes (Alt + Enter)
+ Added a brand new bonus level: Box Purradise
+ Added photos of Sockington and Penny
* Reworked the Objective Mode scoring structure to restrict it to 4 levels
* Changed how scores are recorded on leaderboards: Litterbox scores are no longer recorded and Objective scores have been reset due to the change in scoring structure
* Changed how bonus levels work: they now give more points at the end and you do not have to complete their objectives to progress
* Tweaked some procedural data for object and furniture placement
* Tweaked player movement a bit to make it more precise and make jumps more forgiving
* Improved the UI for selecting screen resolution and quality on the options screen
* Fixed bugs with crouching, rooms with missing doors, miscellaneous colliders, and more
Enjoy!

Hey everyone!
I've been working on some new content over the past couple of months and will be pushing it all live on September 1st! First up, here's a sneak peek of some new objects that will be showing up in different levels:

New Objective Mode scoring
Ability to save levels (seeds) and replay them in Litterbox Mode
Japanese localization
More bug fixes (crouch bug, blocked room issues)
Minor tweaks/additions (shortcut to toggle fullscreen/windowed, better UI on options for changing resolution)
As always, thanks for playing, reporting issues, and just being a great community! :happynippy:
