Update v0.20.2.17
Wow, it's been over a week now since the release of Choas on Wheels into Early Access. We see Early Access Release as the beginning of something truly amazing, and we're continuing to bring you improvements into the Chaos world. So, are you ready for an upgrade? Sure you are! ;)
Since we've been stretched over the release and most of our attention was to gather your thoughts, feedback, and ideas, we don't have a huge update. But still, there are a few changes and fixes :)
Among the few fixes we managed to correct, we also did some balancing in the Chaos Career progress and unlocking conditions. We added an option to change Chaos Career difficulty on the fly and added a reset button on the Steam Career slot which resets the whole Chaos Career data, for a fresh start.
Also, Career Stats now include things such as damage dealt & received, the number of animals run over, certain hazards destroyed, hits by some hazards, fallen in the mud, fired homing missiles, and many others. Garage in-game screenshot

CAR CUSTOMIZATION
Chaos on Wheels is just as much about customizing and upgrading your cars as it is about destruction! In fact, equipping the right gadgets from within the Chaos Garage will let you wreak even more havoc across the game’s many maps. But how exactly does customization work?
Within the Chaos Garage, players can choose exactly how to customize their vehicles of destruction. Manage your special garage where you can choose to equip turrets, guns, armor, and new gadgets to make the most chaotic car possible. In total, there are five car slots available, allowing players to have a variety of builds ready at any given time. Swap different armor types, equip them individually, change front guns, select your favorite car turret, add radar, and many more things in Chaos Garage!
But customization isn’t restricted to just weapons and armor. Chaos on Wheels also lets you adjust how your vehicle looks. Don’t like a car’s color? You can change it! Still not satisfied? Swap various wraps, lights, and other options to completely personalize your ride.
There’s no shortage of ways to customize your vehicles in Chaos on Wheels. From picking the right armor, to selecting the perfect turret, and even changing your vehicle’s wheels and body type, Chaos on Wheels gives you plenty of options.

But the work has only just begun! There are many new customization features in the works, which will come after the game’s Early Access launch. Car decals are one of the priorities for customization, allowing players to add custom decals/stickers on their rides. Country flags and customizable text will be available as decal options. In addition, performance customization will be added at a later date, adding the ability to swap engines, upgrade chassis, drive train, and much more.

We’re back with another update and this one is going to be interesting. As you all know, Chaos on Wheels is all about destruction and, of course, chaos. But why? What’s it all for? Other than, because it’s awesome, of course. Well, did you know that Chaos on Wheels features a pretty crazy story behind it all? We wanted to provide you with a bit more information about Helios and the world of Chaos Crew, so here’s the rundown!
Chaos on Wheels is based in the year 2155, where technology has advanced far beyond human intelligence. Despite years of discussions about the dangers of artificial intelligence, the corporation IronCore pushed to put all technology into one interface. After that, they contracted an AI to run point on all systems. This AI was named Helios, who took control of everything in an instant. From transportation grids to communication, food production and weapons systems, it all went dark. And now the human race is endangered on all known planets due to their ambitions.
It isn’t as though humanity didn’t try to fight back. They attacked the Mainframe but failed, resulting in even greater caution from the AI enemy. The Mainframe is now an armored self-driving truck guarded by a powerful convoy. All modern technology, from weapons to transportation is useless, and it’s all controlled by them. The only hope for humanity? A group of humans that have a love for old cars and weapons.
This is the Chaos Crew, and this is where you come in.
An eccentric and excitable group of drivers ready for adventure, the Chaos Crew may just be the last group with plans for eliminating the AI threat and taking back technology for the human race. This group is full of rage and is just vying for some epic destruction! They’ve managed to establish an HQ under the nose of Helios and his systems in order to make plans, strategize and deck out their cars with the best of what humanity has to offer.
Each driver has their own story and their own motivations, but the goal of the Chaos Crew as a group is one thing and one thing only – take back what’s ours!

Jump Behind the Wheel of the Ultimate Destruction Machine in Chaos on Wheels, Coming This October

We, developer, Acodeon are excited to announce that our vehicular combat action title Chaos on Wheels will be launching into Early Access on October 19th. Jump into a decked out car and take down enemy vehicles, turrets and more. Join fellow Chaos Crew members vying to grab the top spot and be crowned The King of Chaos.
Chaos on Wheels features intuitive and easy-to-learn driving that allows players to focus on the game’s exciting combat. While in the garage, players can create their dream vehicle by equipping it with all manner of armor and weapons. Not to mention paint jobs and other gadgets to help with taking down opponents. Smash through the semi-destructive environments while drifting, jumping and performing stunts on dozens of diverse maps.
The Early Access version of Chaos on Wheels features a ten-chapter campaign, single-player Chaos Career, a custom battle selection with split-screen for two players, as well as two game modes. It also includes over 25 vehicles with loads of equipment, dozens of maps and a group of unique drivers to choose from. Players’ garage management will have a limited amount of actions, but this will be fully polished the closer the game gets to full launch. Acodeon Gaming hopes to receive and implement player feedback during Early Access in order to deliver the best final product.

Demo Update
Welcome back Chaos Crew!
The team has been hard at work the last few weeks and wanted to post a quick update about the state of Chaos on Wheels and what we’ve got coming up!
First, we have officially announced the game and hope that this means more folks joining our Discord and the community. More Chaos Crew means more mayhem! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be continuing to update everyone on any game changes or updates, including this month's demo update!
Here are some of the changes you’ll notice when jumping into the demo:
2-player split screen has been enabled in local play.
There are now daily, weekly, and monthly challenges in Career.
We’ve added Steam Achievements.
There are additional car visual customizations (full body wrap, headlight color options, under glow lights, windscreen tint, and wheel color customization).
We’ve added Chaos Game Mode.
More equipment, cars, and items are available in the Career shop.
The Black Market is now available in Career.
Driver styles are available in Career.
We have separated drivers and drivers’ abilities in Career.
We have implemented squads in Career.
Over the next few months, we’ll be posting more blogs like this one that will take a deeper dive into Chaos on Wheels to give you a closer look at development, the vehicles, all of the customization options, and more. And as we inch close to our Early Access release date, we hope to start inviting some of your favorite content creators to try out the game for themselves. Any feedback we receive during this time is super valuable and will help us deliver the best game possible for everyone!

Monthly Update: June
The update for sunny June has arrived ⏫ In the previous month, our focus was on the visual parts of the game. Check out car tuning, driver skins and rainy Village visual update.
Car Tuning
More love has been given to car customization 🛠 This time it is all about the visuals of your chaos machine. As usual, you can change color but now you can also add “body wrap” with a pattern of your choice. Your lights, windows and wheels also can change color. The video below will explain it better than words. Take a look! 😎
Driver Skins
Everybody has unique tastes in looks, so we added driver skins to “hopefully” match your taste. You wanna see Sunshine without her helmet? Be our guest 😌
Village - Visual Improvement
Back when we released the first Demo version for “Chaos on Wheels” our first map was dark-rainy Valley at night. Throughout the development, we change it to be calmer and more colourful. So we transferred the dark-rainy mood to our Village map. It used to be just the Village at night but now it is a rainy dark place with thunders roaming the sky ⚡⛈

Monthly Update: May
The May update for Chaos on Wheels has arrived. This update brought a map to revamp, hazards and career improvements. Check it out! ⬇
Snow Forest Path - Revamp
The map that stands out from the rest just received an upgrade. The design of the map stayed the same.. wide snow road across winter forests.. but we added side-road areas for players to explore, fight Helios’ army, and gather pickups to survive or to crush enemies in a more Chaotic way 💥

Hazard - Leftover & Reward
Hazards were kind of left behind in previous months so this time we gave them care. Now it is even more satisfying to blow them up because once they are destroyed, the player will be rewarded with random pickup 🎁
Additionally, leftovers will be left behind to mark your rage 😈
Career Items
Wanna try yourself in Chaos Carrer? 💥 Carrer allows you to progress thru Chaos World starting low and building up to become King of Chaos. While building Carrer, Garage is gonna be a place to make your Chaos Machine and the Market is where you gonna spend your money 💰
That is why we added thumbnails on all items available in the Market. Now they are easy to recognise and give you brief visual info on what you are buying 😌
Black Market
Do you like to wait for prices to drop or find another cheaper supplier to make your spending most officiant? 💲 Well, we got a brand new feature for you inside the Market.
It is called Black Market and it allows you to make smart deals for your future Career. Items inside Black Market are temporary to purchase and once the next shipping is ready, Black Market refreshes with new deals. So be ready 😉
