Small Update where we fixed the wrong button assignments
Hey!
The wrong button assignment that went through with the last update has been fixed!
Sorry that this one took us so long. If I am being upfront it's because no one of us was really aware of the Steam Community discussions going on. Between handling all our social media pages we didn't expect that we won't get any notifications if anyone starts a new discussion about Chapeau on Steam. ːsteamsadː
Please excuse us, as we are learning all the things on the get go to make not only Chapeau, but also future releases run more smoothly in the future!

Upcoming: Even more party fun in Alpaca Ball: Allstars!
Hey fellow mad hatters!
We've learned a lot about making party games with Chapeau and we wanted to put that to the test by making a football game with Ragdoll Alpacas! Alpaca Ball: Allstars has everything you could think of, up to 8 players can play locally and there's even a full on story mode this time!

First Update to Chapeau - The Party Update!
Hey everyone, the first update to Chapeau has just been released, here are the quick patch notes:
1 New fantastic hat is available to play
All maps are unlocked from the start, instead of being locked behind the challenge mode
A visual bug in the tutorial parkour has been fixed
The birdies should now correctly return to their position, making it easier to get the birdie achievement
We want everyone who just wants to play the game in the multiplayer mode to experience all maps regardless of Challenge mode progress, hats and skins are still unlock able.

Switch Version Announced!
Hey everyone!
Today we officially announce that Chapeau is gonna come to Nintendo Switch! The PC and the Switch version will come out at the same time, so you can choose how you prefer to enjoy Chapeau :) To support the Switch release we worked a lot on single Joycon controls and other things for the port, so if you want to enjoy Chapeau on the go, that's your chance! ːsteamhappyː

All 3 Modes Build is up today!
The Charity Build goes live today! Here's what awaits you:
Features: + Alle 3 Modes are unlocked for you to play! + The Maps have been reduced to only Old Vienna and Prater, as the event is happening in Vienna :) + Hats! 6 Hats some new some old are unlocked to play! + Same goes for trails, 6 Trails are also unlocked! + The first two challenges are ready to be tested!
Fixes: + Fixed collision walljumps in the pre game lobby boxes + Reduced the amount of humans slightly + Improved performance on the Low Settings by a lot + Fixed some more controller input problems
This will probably be the last time for you to jump in and play Chapeau before it's release next year, so use your chance! :D
"Licht ins Dunkel":All modes unlocked next week! 28. November until 5. December
The last phase of our alpha testing ends today, but fear not: Next week there's a charity event called for "Licht ins Dunkel" happening on Twitch featuring many Austrian streamers and games made in Austria. To celebrate the good cause we are gonna put up a new version of the game on Steam containing all 3 game modes, a bunch of hats and the maps Prater and Old Vienna for a few days over the weekend!
- From 28.11 to 05.12 the charity event build will be up on Steam with all game modes unlocked. - You can catch the stream of the event from 30.11 to 01.12 over at twitch.tv/venicraft
The detailed patch notes will be up next week when the build goes live, in the meantime the last build with the "Floor is Lava" mode will be up until next week.

Alpha Content Update: New Mode "The Floor is Lava"!
The second content update to the alpha has been released containing some new features and fixes:
New Features: + Another new mode! Dash your enemies into the lava in "The Floor Is Lava"!
Fixes: + Fixed Hat names not showing correctly. + Worked on some backbone stuff to improve the collisions. + Fixed controller identification bugs, when connecting and disconnecting several controllers.
The glitches in the pre-warm box are not fixed yet, because of a few complications that we didn't foresee, but they are getting fixed soon.
