Yes, yes, I know. This is an unexpected update, but there were some fairly significant bugs that required fixing. Plus, you get to hear the new music from 2dB earlier, so why not? There are 3 wave tracks in total, plus one boss wave track. The “Hugo the Great (Boss)” track which you might have heard on YouTube has been demoted to a regular wave track, and a new boss track “Chilli Wings” has taken its place. It has already been assigned to certain bosses in-game, but you can naturally also preview the music in the Galactic Store. You’ll also get a bonus 4th wave track coming by the end of the month.

Early Access version 115
You can now select multiple cuisines/backgrounds/music at the Mission Config screen. If you select more than one, then it will be selected randomly per-stage (cuisines take effect per-enemy). To support this change, mission configs and all config presets have been reset.
Also, you can now view past outcomes for a flown mission, and compare your previous to your latest outcome. This is typically best accessed through the “Recent Missions” list (which now shows all recent missions except Squadron Assignments). Note that missions flown so far do not have outcomes – only missions that you fly from now on will.
Finally, new Galactic Stop equipment: A “Pixie Dust” hardpoint (to dazzle your friends) and a “Heat” insight (shows your weapon’s heat over your spacecraft for easier access without taking your sight off the battlefield).
:warning: Changes in this update may have potentially made certain waves easier/harder, so all Galactic Cup Knockout missions flown today so far have been reset, and you’ll need to play them again. A system announcement to this effect has been also sent in your in-game Inbox.
Any major issues will be fixed via an emergency patch in the coming 2-3 days, but otherwise updates will slow down or perhaps even cease during August.

A new enemy breed: Phoenix Chicken! This is the counterpart of the “Chiller” chicken introduced in the previous update. Its attack is non-lethal, but you really don’t want to get hit. Due to its nature, it has -50% reduced spawn probability in frozen environments, and +50% in hot ones.
Also, customizable food drops! Instead of the regular burgers, you can now set enemies to drop Sweets, Fried Chicken, Fruits, Pizza, Popcorn, and possibly another one I forgot to mention ;) .
There will be another update at the end of July. Following that, and barring any major issues, updates will slow down or even cease during August.

A new enemy breed: Chiller Chicken! This breed is strategically unique in that its attack is non-lethal (but still detrimental, obscuring your vision and reducing your maneuvering precision). The attack is also not entirely random (props for discovering what the rules are). Upon death it releases a lingering cloud (similar to Toxic chickens), however in this case the cloud is actually beneficial: Any weapons fired within it will not generate any heat. Due to its nature, it has -50% reduced spawn probability in hot environments, and +50% in frozen ones.
Due to this new enemy, all waves may have potentially become easier/harder, so all Galactic Cup Knockout missions flown today so far have been reset, and you’ll need to play them again. A system announcement to this effect has been also sent in your in-game Inbox.

New waves! Lots and lots of them. Let’s count them all together: 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10… oops, out of fingers!
What I said during the last major wave addition (see https://forum.chickeninvaders.com/t/early-access-version-52/10071) is strangely appropriate for this update, too:
I originally didn’t intend for it to become this massive thing. I merely wanted to add a couple of new waves to the game, because (i) it’s been a while and (ii) there’s a long upcoming period during which adding new content will not be a priority. After the first 2-3 waves, however, I kept adding more and more because (i) I re-acquainted myself with the wave creation code, so my efficiency increased (for a similar reason to why working sets, cache warming and economies of scale are a thing) and (ii) great new ideas kept coming in from you guys. It almost killed me, but I crammed in as many as I could (a few more will appear in the next update).
Make no mistake about it, the majority of these new waves are not for the faint of heart, so they will only appear in higher difficulties (typically, 40% to 70%). Also, the new additions will unavoidably shuffle the wave ordering of exisiting missions, so you might find that your stored favourites are no longer such favourites after all.

"Config Presets" have been added in this update. These allow you to save your current flagship together with the current Mission Config slot configuration, and restore them later at will. You can have as many as you want. If your saved flagship is unavailable, or you don't have enough equipment to fully restore a preset, then only the parts that exist get restored. Eventually there may be an option to automatically buy whatever is missing, but since this is somewhat complex to implement, let's see if there's any demand for it first.
Also, a lot of tweaks and improvements to the "Dr. Beaker" boss.
Sadly, three of the wave music tracks that were introduced in v.108 have been removed in this update, because they triggered YouTube's "copyright claim" mechanism. They will eventually be replaced by original music.

This update introduces a new boss, Dr. Beaker *, inspired by your own suggestions. As usual, there will be no spoilers here -- you'll have to encounter it in the game. It starts appearing at difficulties 60%+. The addition of this boss to the randomizer might have shuffled the appearance/ordering of other bosses around, both in normal missions and boss rushes.
Dr. Beaker comes with its own boss music track, and there are also three other mission tracks. These tracks are experimental, and might be replaced/removed in future versions. If you like them, they will eventually be added to the Galactic Store.
* yes, technically "Dr" doesn't need a period, but these chickens are so unruly, they even ignore standard galactic spelling rules.

Early Access version 107
A new chicken breed! No spoilers here, you’ll have to see for yourself. There is no official name for it yet (there will be a naming poll on the forum after you’ve had a chance to encounter it in the game). Since this breed has been added into the “elite” enemy tier, a lot of the waves have changed in terms of which enemies make an appearance (particularly on higher difficulties), so be warned.
The Accumulator can now also be used in competitive missions without disqualification.
