Ho Ho Ho
Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎄
Hope you are having a great time with family and friends (while keeping social distance) XD
As some of you already know, we at Elf Games are a small team of indie game devs, where most of us have a full-time job. We create games in our spare time (often our sleep time :P) and we are pursuing the development of Children of Silentown for 2 years now, and this year have been... complicated.
Then, we showed you what we achieved so far with our Prologue and your reception has been overwhelming! 35k of you have tried and reviewed it. It was very unexpected and it made us feel grateful for all your feedback and support you showed.
With renewed energies, we wish you happy holidays! Enjoy the Winter Sales, and see you next year!
❤️ The Prologue is skyrocketing, thank you for all the ❤️ !!
Heya all!
One week has passed since we released our Prologue for Children of Silentown into the wild and… your reaction has been a-mazing!
Almost 8000 of you played it, sending our way over 280 reviews!!
Thank you all so much for the kind reception, for us it means a lot :3
Here’s a sneak peek of what we are working on right now - were you spooked enough by the Prologue? Well prepare to be spooked even more!
Cya, Elfs
⚡️Prologue Out Now! - Try Children of Silentown on Steam⚡️
Hi everyone!
Big news: the Prologue to Children of Silentown is available now!
As said when we announced this, we decided to make our demo permanently available to download and play, and we hope this will give everyone the chance to try out our game and get a feel for what it is like, so… give us your thoughts about it, will ya?!
Those of Silentown quiet, whispering beings. They fear the growls of the night, they stay away from the dark. But there is a special event, a line between two worlds, that mixes the shivers of risk with the party vibes. Kids roam the street louder than the monsters and no beast would dare to come close, fearing the ol’ Trick or Treat!
Happy Halloween to y’all - remember to wear a mask as all the cool kids do, and don’t accept candies from strangers (if ya do, remember to wash yer hands)
New and improved demo available!
Howdy people!
What better times than these spooky days to make a new and improved version of our demo available?
Thanks for all the feedback you sent our way - now please enjoy a bugfixed and extremely polished version of our demo, for you to have fun in our creepy town!
If you wanted to suggest the demo to a friend, well then... the timing is most propitious!
** laughs in scarecrow **
See ya next time on the spookiest night!
Elfs

Howdy!
This demo is meant to give you a taste of the world of Children of Silentown, our dark adventure game scheduled for release for late 2020.
Inspired by point & click games like Fran Bow, and with an art style reminiscent of “Coraline” and Tim Burton’s early works, Children of Silentown tells the story of Lucy amidst the horror of people disappearing, monsters, and an isolated village surrounded by forest.
Only by taking advantage of all the tools and tricks at her disposal, Lucy will be able to shed some light on the mysteries of Silentown, using her singing skills to tear the veil of apathy and silence surrounding the village.
Follow Lucy through her adventure between puzzles, minigames and important choices leading to different endings!
We released a first trailer back in 2019 that was quite well-received, also thanks to the superbly animated video by our collaborator and YouTuber Fraffrog (1M followers, go check her out!). Now the game is at the point where we can proudly show a nice, well-designed and super-polished demo, reason why we would like you to have a taste during this Steam Game Festival. :)
ABOUT US
Elf Games is a small indie developer from Brescia, Italy. Our first game, Little Briar Rose, is a vibrant and colorful adventure inspired by the tale of Sleeping Beauty and her enchanted forest of brambles. With Children of Silentown we are delving into the dark side of fables (and forests!) with a creepy, unsettling story… which we hope you’ll like!
Thanks Elfs
PS: if you play the demo… give us some feedback, will ya?! Something not working? Something you didn’t like? Let us hear the details! :*
PPS: If that’s ok with you, please follow our developer page to get updates on all our games: https://store.steampowered.com/developer/ElfGamesWorks
PPPS: Adding a third “PS” only for fashion. Wizardry fashion. Does it ring a bell?
