The most recent update introduced a few issues which should hopefully be resolved now. Unfortunately I had to temporarily remove some effects of a few berserker skills to stop the crashing, but they will be back as soon as I can make it work again. A new engine update sometimes introduces new issues that can be hard to pin down, so if you get any weird behavior or crashes, please let me know, and I will get right on it!

Update 1.10.6 is now live with fixes for recent issues, as well as some general tweaks and performance increases.
Notably, the game is now also 64-bit! If you are running an older 32-bit system, you can find a 32-bit version in the BETA branches on steam, but please be aware that 32-bit will not be supported indefinitely.
Linux users: 1.10.6 will be rolled out to Linux systems sometime later, as we are having some problems compiling in the latest engine version. I hope this will not delay us too much.
A time-limited Christmas event will go live on December 15th, so keep an eye out for that! During this event you'll find extra loot - as neatly wrapped gifts! You'll also be able to visit a special location, and you'll find that the denizens of the word of Chronicon has decorated for the season. More info coming on the 15th!

Here's an update that takes care of some recent issues.
1.10.4:
Mechanics & Progression:
Changed how mastery experience is calculated past really high levels (3500+).
Resetting skills/masteries, importing builds, and hot-swapping any skill or mastery now clears all effects to prevent snapshotting abuse.
Slightly changed how Wings of Sziirk works to try and prevent getting stuck in walls.
The stat "Increased Healing From All Sources" no longer has diminishing returns.
Added some extra checks to determine whether or not to trigger When Moving and When Still type effects, such as the Warden's Careful Aim.
Monsters:
Lowered damage of Razor Wind when cast by enemies like Gazer.
Quaker, Slamcross, Trapper, and Frostblitz enemy affixes are now considered ground effects.
Arrow Hail, when used by enemies, now have a longer delay, duration, and drop the arrows much slower.
Misc:
Adjusted some overlapping buttons in the interface when using gamepad.
Added some tweaks to the load/verification system to be less strict and be able to recreate some missing data when necessary.
Locale:
Updated Chinese locale.
Possible fix for poor formatting of Japanese text.
Linux:
Possible fix for weird mouse snapping / getting stuck on multiple monitor setups. Side effect: mouse will not be confined to window at all.

Update 1.10.2 is live!
Hey everyone!
We've had some issues with Anti-Virus flagging the game as kinda sus, so this update will hopefully fix that! From testing, it was most likely related to clearing out some old data, which was caught as a suspicious action.
Also, if you had issues with your characters not showing up on the Load Hero menu, this update should also fix this - if this issue persists, please send a screenshot of the load menu along with your save files to help@subworldgames.com and I will investigate further. Note: your save data is not lost, the game is just not recognizing it for some players, so do not worry!
Anyway, I'm sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused, and I think you for being understanding and helping me test and verify the issues!

Update 1.10.0 is now live!
This update features a revamped difficulty for the Story, a new backup system for your saves, improved Anomalies, a tier skip for the Endless Anomalies, some new Transmutation recipes - and much more!
Originally I was planning even more things for this update, however I decided to split it into two, so expect another update of similar size some time later. Planned features for the next update include build balance/buffs, and unlockable character skins!

Anomalies:
Added a tier skip feature to Endless tiers, where you can spend crystals to enter a special Endless Dungeon Anomaly that advances you 3 tiers when completed, but boots you if you die.
Added some more Anomaly boss fight rooms.
Improved Anomaly boss intros (they are now skipable).
Added a new Crater anomaly layout that is smaller and has more variation.
Added a new Forest layout for anomalies.
Gave the Space Forest anomalies a new base layout.
Removed the "Lushlands" layout from the Space Forest tileset because the water and ground were too similar.
Removed the pointy dead ends of Hellfort anomalies.
Backup system:
Added an automatic backup system that now keeps up to 2 rolling backups of all your characters, stash, progression, etc. files.
This system automatically checks for save failures and corruptions, and will automatically restore backups if any problem is found.
Difficulty & Mechanics:
Added some experimental anti-snapshot changes, destroying any active spell when changing equipment.
Adjusted damage scaling of non-boss enemy attacks granted via random affixes.
Added a slight delay to Eruption and Poison Bomb enemy affixes.
Increased movement speed of all enemies.
Increased enemy damage scaling on Epic and Legendary difficulties.
Increased enemy health scaling from Heroic to Mythic 2.
Increased base movement speed of players by 25%.
Movement speed enchants lowered accordingly to give approx the same theoretical max speed.
Staggered damage now has a base 30% damage reduction to the staggered ticks (the effect that previously was on Balgar's Binding).
Changed how enchant values are rolled on items - they are no longer weighted towards the max roll, and are now more evenly spread between min and max.
Tweaked the growth of Bonus Crystals stat and the Memory Essence rewards in the Endless Anomalies.
Anomaly bosses should now be recognized as bosses for effects such as Mantle of The Dragonkin.
Increased Dummy health so maybe you guys don't explode them.
Increased maximum buff stacks of infinite stacking buffs (most would cap at 9.9k stacks before, I assumed no one would have the patience to reach that - I was wrong)
Removed ultimate skill player skin changes, in preparation for a new permanent skin system - coming soon. (unlockable skins!)
Removed item Power stat (was misleading).
Shady Dealer no longer sells unlimited amounts of boxes, but are more likely to have boxes in stock.
Hardcore:
Graveyard graves now show the Endless Tier reached on dead heroes (that died after this update).
Transmutation:

More Transmutation recipes are now known from the start, making it easier to figure out how Transmutation works.

Purged Through Holy Flames (synergy skill) is now affected by mastery proc rate increment passives.
Berserker:
Lesser Rune of The Blue Bolt now also affects Hop.
Molten Medallion now adds damage per 22 MPR, up from per 33 MPR.
Cooling Off is now affected by the Blizzards Mastery (+Frost Winds Proc Rate).

Life Link now heals for 1% of max HP per hit.
Volley no longer have diminishing returns on damage.
Storm Mender use effect is now affected by Companion Passive and Use Effect stat.
Warlock:
The Masochist 2p bonus is now reflected in tooltips and interact with bonuses towards the affected skills properly (such as Bone Skill Damage).
Icecrown satellite spears now target the player's target.
The Bone Spear (staff) is now reflected in tooltips and interact with bonuses towards Bone Spear properly (such as Bone Skill Damage).
Reduced the effect of Death Knight (ulti) to 20%, down from 30%.
Ruin will now deal damage correctly within the listed range on the tooltip.
General QoL stuff:
You can now change difficulty by talking to Tinka.
Items now use silver stars to reflect if their base stats are at max value for their rarity, and gold stars if they are at max possible value (TL and/or empowered to max).
Navigating the waypoint with a gamepad now wraps around, so you can go upwards to get to the bottom quick.
Rare loot effects (shines) are now always drawn on top, showing the items clearly when behind walls and such.
Clarified some item, rune, and enchant descriptions.
Ancient Sickle (Halloween Event quest item) is now Unique, so it appears on your map when dropped.
Interface:
Added support for Japanese community translations. (Please let me know if there are problems presenting the text or if something is missing!)
Added a small tutorial when opening the endgame interface for the first time.
Added map cycle options to the interface menu (all on by default).
Added more "short number" letters so it doesn't break when you pass Q.
Stat page (not the inventory quick reference) now also show uncapped values on resistances.
Minimap and area info is now transparent like the quest tracker.
Added a HUD clock (can be toggled on/off in interface settings).

Improved locale support by adding a "suffix only" mode for enemies and items, solving problems with gendered words for some languages.

Halloween event now live!
Hey everyone!
The yearly Halloween in-game event is now live! You'll find a new area in which you can do quests and obtain a few items available only during this event. It's a great time to add that one seasonal event item missing from your Item Codex... You'll also find that the game is a lot spookier overall!
This event lasts through October 20th-31st.
(And Update 1.1 is also coming very soon.)

Update 1.00.6: Chinese support, tweaks, and fixes
Hey everyone!
I am back in health and back at work, fixing issues and tweaking stuff!
This update improves support for custom translations by adding an in-game menu to change language from, and it also adds the first official translation: Simplified Chinese! In the future I plan on adding support for more community translations by adding additional fonts, such as Korean. I may be adding more official translations down the line as well.
This update also fixes a few crashes and tweaks a few things. Thanks for all the reports, comments, and suggestions! I am now shifting focus entirely to 1.1, which will bring a lot of new QoL features, buff/tweak a lot of sets and items, add a save backup system, endgame improvements, and also fix a large amount of bugs - among other things!

All enchants & powers that required a silly amount of Greater Augments to reach cap no longer do so.
Combat:
Tuned down some enemy AoE effects that were likely to one-shot you.
Added a few frames of invulnerability after a "save from death" effect has triggered so you don't die regardless before being able to react due to rapid/queued hits.
Translations:
Added the first official translation: Simplified Chinese!
Your custom translations will now be discovered by the game and selectable from the in-game menu, so you don't have to manually edit the config file to change language anymore.
Incorrectly set up languages will default to English.
Help index can now be translated and have been moved to locale/help.
Fixes:
Fixed memory leak related to belt items.
Fixed a few crashes related to corrupt characters.

I have been asked about a roadmap with future plans so I will be making one sometime soon, where I will list my plans for some time ahead. However here's a short summary of the next few steps: I will soon shift my focus entirely to 1.1 which will largely be a huge QoL update with skill tweaks, interface tweaks, improved anomaly layouts, wider language support, and much more! And after that, I shift my focus to something bigger.

Loot:
Swapping items between inventory and Stash now lets the Favorite mark take precedence (if either the source or target stack is favorited, the new stack will be favorited).
You can no longer transmute or drop favorited items, preventing accidents.
Interface:
Improved some skill descriptions and fixed some grammar errors.
Minimap scale now goes down to 50% (was minimum 100%).
Most UI elements have had their max scale setting increased from 300% to 400% to accommodate huge screens & resolutions.
Clicking a Grave in the Graveyard now autoscales the popup a bit to allow for larger numbers (and longer translations) to fit.
The unfinished stash icon feature I added by accident earlier (oops) now lets you loop the icons by right clicking continuously.
Monsters:
Plague Spinner spiders now spawn in Forgotten Chambers in Act 1 (they only appeared in Anomalies before).
Castle Guards now spawn in The Courtyard and Clairebourg Halls in Act 3 (they only spawned in challenge areas before).
Caecus Dolo (The high Priest) now laughs a lot less frequently during combat.
Lowered the damage of Fizzbang's skills (first boss Act 5).
Lowered the volume of all bats and rats high-pitched squealing.
Skills:
Poison Arrow is now called Poison Shot to further emphasize that it is not an "Archery" skills (Druid tree has no Archery skills).
Improved pathing and behavior of Seeking Arrow (Warden) so it should no longer get stuck.
World:
Improved spawn locations of some NPC's so they dont end up in walls.
Going into The Sacrificial Grounds and rescuing the Sorcerers without accepting the quest now auto-starts the quest upon rescuing them.
Anomaly hellfort layouts with a lot of dead ends have been made more rare (1.1 will bring improved layouts!).
