Update 1.30.1 - Fixes + small Anniversary event!

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the reports about the new issues that arose with update 1.30.0!

This update should take care of all reported issues. Please let us know if any issue persists or if anything else pops up, and we'll get right on it!

Oh, and during August 20th-22nd we'll be celebrating Chronicon's release anniversary with increased magic find and experience for anyone playing during that time!

Misc:

  • Bosses now drop Crowns.

Fixes:

  • Fixed crash when using Rune of Potency and Shattering Shield.
  • Fixed not being able to upgrade or access tier 1 gems if not having inventory bags.
  • Fixed some localization issues.
  • Fixed Golem Cavern intro cutscene showing a Golem with the incorrect name and title.
  • Fixed issue in co-op where player 2-4 could pick up more items if player 1 had a larger bag.
  • Fixed issue where some background music would not play correctly.
  • Fixed a lot of projectiles going through walls.
  • Fixed rare crash on Hidden Cellar event.
  • Fixed LoS problem with the warden's Static/Lightning Rod passives and enemies near walls.

Update 1.30.0 is live!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while, but we're back with another big update.
And a pretty big reveal!

We've just published the DLC store page, so please go ahead and take a look!
Bear in mind it's a work in progress, so expect some more screenshots and a neat little trailer sometime soon - we'll make a second announcement when we have everything ready and can give you an exact date. We wanted to get it out there ahead of time however to keep everyone in the loop. Exciting times ahead!

1.30.0:


New Things:

    Tarot Cards:

    • Rare randomly dropped cards that can be handed in to Tarot for weighted TL drops. This will give you an extra chance to get those items that you aren't having any luck with finding randomly.

    Lesser Boss Anomalies!

    • Fight vs random bosses from the story, featuring all except the final boss of each act.
    • These anomalies have a largely increased chance to drop rare crafting materials such as Runelord's Remorse, and start at Mythic 3 difficulty.

    Endless Random Anomalies!

    • Just like the Endless Dungeon Anomalies, except one floor each, and the portal opens up next to you. Caveat: You can't tier skip with randoms.

    24 new enemy variations!

    • Based on existing enemies, and appearing in Anomalies. Technically tied to the upcing DLC areas, but we threw these in here to give some more variation for the base game too.

    Added a weather system!

    • Currently has: snow, sandstorm, rain, and ash/cinders.
    • Weather is tied to some story areas and may randomly appear in Anomalies in low-medium intensity to not get in your way while still adding some nice ambiance. (And in DLC content)


Items, Sets, Runes, & Enchants:

    All:

    • NEW: Spirit Guard: TL Armor, subtracting a portion of damage taken from Mana instead of Health.
    • NEW: Battlemaster's Cape: TL Accessory increasing all Minor Stats for each nearby foe.
    • Ring of Pure Energies: now grants %max mana.
    • Sun & Moon: set effect buffs now last 7 seconds, up from 3.

    Templar:

    • Hammerblade: The cast Hammerstorm is now converted to the element of the triggering skill, rather than always being holy.
    • Blazing Hammers Rune: now mentions that Holy Fire becomes a Hammer skill and now properly scales off Hammer skill damage.
    • Caine's set: is now affected by Aura Effect stat.
    • Armor of the Shield Maiden: No longer makes you unable to block.

    Berserker:

    • Firebreather Helm: The circling dragons are now affected by reach, letting you cover a larger radius.
    • The Dragonflame Rune: Will now work with Flamebound armor.

    Warlock:

    • Meteora: Now shows the radius of the Meteor.
    • Deathspeaker: No longer works solely with Infinite Ruin Rune as it's technically not meeting the criteria.
    • Frozen Graves Rune: now requires foes to be at less than 30% health.

    Enchants:

    • Physical Resistance now rolls and augments like other elemental resistances, meaning it now caps at 30% Greater Augment, up from 20%.


Interface:

  • Added boxes to the Enchanting and Gemcutting vendor interfaces to make them more clear.
  • Improved the look of Theo's Transmutation altar interface somewhat by making the slots more distinct.
  • Moved the loading screen progress text so it wouldn't overlap with longer area names in either English or translations.
  • Deathlog now has timestamps to easier determine when things happened.
  • Deathlog now also logs when barriers are broken from damage.
  • Deathlog now also notes damage that is absorbed and drained from Mana when using Mana Shield effects.
  • Removed "hurt for 0 damage" entries in the deathlog that were erronouesly added when having high indirect/ground damage resistances.

Mechanics:

  • Bonus damage to specific skill types, such as Projectile, Bombardment, etc, are now all stacking additively within the same type (previously it was inconsistent where some effects were multiplicative and others additive).
  • Mana Shield (draining Mana per X points of damage) is now 1 Mana per 2 damage, down from 1 Mana per 4 damage.

Monsters & Bosses:

  • Revamped Oakstorm (Act 2 finale) fight.
  • Sped up some (story) boss intro cutscenes.
  • Added boss intro music in the correct places to Act 2 bosses.
  • Lowered damage of act 5 torturer boss "fan of blades" attack.
  • Increased damage of many Anomaly bosses.
  • Added 8 new Anomaly bosses.
  • Tweaked enemy spawn distributions in Anomalies a bit.
  • Sandworms are no longer able to roll Brute or Super Damage affixes as Elites & Champions.
  • Rock-Shaypas (goblin shamans throwing rocks) can no longer roll Flail affix as Champion.

Performance:

  • Improved performance of some on-crit enchants.
  • Improved performance of many passive on-hit effects.
  • Improved render and memory handling performance (overall fps boost for most people).
  • Improved overall fps and fps stability for high hz monitors. (still 60 lock but should be less odd dips)
  • Reduced average CPU load, further improving performance & framerate in hectic situations.

QoL:

  • Added a setting to automatically skip cutscenes to the gameplay settings.
  • Reduced the delay in companions casting "Thunder" (Wisps with Master's Command set, for example) from 1.5 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
  • Improved support for PS3 and PS4 controllers on both Linux and Windows.

Skills:

  • Ferocity (Warden passive) is now affected by Companion passive % increases.

Sound & Voice:

  • Item drop sounds no longer have a random pitch shift.
  • Added a voice to Diana Jones.
  • Added a voice to Oakstorm (Act 2 final boss).
  • Added new voice lines to Tarot.

Localization:

  • Added Spanish accents to smaller fonts such as pickup texts, preventing words from being cut off weirdly.

Fixes:

  • Fixed issue where in Act 5, you could enter zones linked to Hellscape before setting up camp, which led to further issues and potentially getting stuck until a restart.
  • Fixed the Act 2 Stampede boss sometimes summoning the Stags inside a tree, getting the fight stuck.
  • Fixed the Act 2 Stampede boss also having too low range on his spells and continously walking up to the player to cast spells.
  • Fixed crash when having enabled overhead healthbars and having item-summoned companions and dying in Hardcore in co-op. (whew)
  • Fixed meteors from extremely large killstreak bonuses not dropping correctly sometimes.
  • Fixed killstreak spells sometimes targeting enemies erronously.
  • Fixed several skills defaulting to Physical damage when cast by effects or AI, rather than their intended element.
  • Fixed Willpower also reducing the duration of debuffs that represent cooldowns, such as death prevention mechanics.
  • Fixed damage number update related crash.
  • Fixed Diana Jones intro in Act 4 not showing all the dialogue as intended.
  • Fixed some sets having missing text in Spanish.
  • Fixed Rime dealing too low damage.
  • Fixed rare crash related to Toxic Shrooms.
  • Fixed codex having incorrectly colored background on some enemy entries.
  • Fixed Anomalies spawning "big" enemies as part of the "core" set of enemies, meaning you could end up in Anomalies with heavily unbalanced enemy power distrubution.
  • Fixed unskippable cutscenes having the skip prompt.
  • Fixed Endless Dungeon Anomalies randomizing the location each floor when they should be themed similarly.
  • Fixed some enemy DoT effects showing too high numbers.
  • Fixed deathlog logging staggered damage after the death is logged.
  • Fixed issue where if dying in the Maddoc fight and trying to spawn in town, the game would sometimes try and start the transformation cutscene, causing a crash.
  • Fixed some instances for shortened numbers(K, M, B, etc) not working correctly.
  • Fixed the unassigned skill point indicator not appearing while browsing the codex.
  • Fixed Templar synergy Passive "Purged Through Holy Flames" not taking weakness effects and damage increases vs specific targets into account (such as Contra).
  • Fixed Templar rune Blade Celerity not working with Tome of Vengeance, causing odd behaviour in Blade spawns and despawns.
  • Fixed Berserker Dragonfire set sometimes adding incorrect (low) amounts of Rampage damage.
  • Fixed spell scrolls showing incorrect counts on the belt slots when bound.
  • Fixed a render crash that could happen when swapping equipment with an active overlay effect on the player character such as Embershield.
  • Fixed Bone Spears being able to pull bosses, breaking fights.
  • Fixed issue where when enemies were pushed up against a wall some passive triggers, such as the Warden's static, might not work.
  • Fixed Vestige of Lost Souls not re-applying correctly with Star of the Pure (for good this time!)
  • Fixed Lesser Rune of Demonkin being augmentable (and it having no effect).
  • Fixed issue with Keep Her Safe (Warden perk) giving Wolf companions up to 9 instances of Provoke, causing them to cast it repeatedly.
  • Fixed issue with the Wispmother set (Warden) where the targeting feature of the 2) bonus wasn't applied until having 3 pieces of the set.
  • Fixed Exploding Shield (Templar) dealing too little damage with the ground burn effect.
  • Fixed crash on death in some cases when having an active barrier effect.
  • Fixed resetting the world via tinka's difficulty change not clearing shrine buffs.
  • Fixed Sword Hurl causing a crash sometimes.
  • Fixed Vampire Lord's Cape making you invulnerable with mana Shield effects (they no longer work together at all).
  • Fixed issue where Poison satellites wouldn't apply the poison debuff to foes poisoned by any kind of effect.
  • Fixed issue where Chain Lightning effects could strike the same target multiple times.
  • Fixed typos.

Update 1.20.4 - Fixes

Fixes:

  • Fixed issue with Hidden Cellar trap not letting you retry if you died and spawned at entrance or back in The Chronicon.
  • Fixed issue with Vestige of Lost Souls not reapplying if having +Barrier Strength enchants/powers.

1.20.3:


Misc:

  • Improved item card handling.
  • Improved interface & tooltip/card update performance.
  • Character will no longer complain about full inventory when gambling multiple items at once and filling the inventory (unless you click again after it's full).
  • Living Blood (warlock passive) no longer gains Blood Curse as their special attack from the Master's Command set, and instead gain Poison Skull.

Fixes:

  • Fixed issue where you couldn't select dyes when using very large UI scale on certain resolutions.
  • Fixed issue where unticking consumables etc from the display filter would actually prevent them from dropping entirely.
  • Fixed dyes not dropping from Anomaly bosses.
  • Fixed "Continue As..." button appearing and causing a crash after deleting the character most recently played.
  • Fixed issue where the Windwalker set (Warden) bonus for automatic Gale casts would go off whenever there was a stat change (buff/debuff).
  • Fixed exploit where one could dupe items in the enchanting interfaces.
  • Fixed issue where using master's Command set with Death's Bond and Living Blood (passive) would ramp up itself endlessly.
  • Possible fix for stash-related crash.
  • Fixed Icebergs (Berserker fist) related crash.
  • Fixed several Berserker skills that created secondary effects (like Shattering Blow, Arc Punch, and a few others) not working or causing problems.
  • Fixed Lesser Rune of Blocking (Templar) using its suffix as a prefix when applied to an item (name issue).
  • Fixed Heatwall (Templar Shield) not restoring any mana when using Shattering Shield or Molten Shield to cast a Singe.
  • Fixed not being able to use a Dye by pressing (A) on a controller - you had to always Use via the context menu (Y).
  • Fixed controller context menu (Y) on Dyes suggesting you can put them in the belt (you can't).
  • Fixed some skills such as Cold Snap not correctly displaying decimal values.
  • Fixed issue where effects increasing the strength of barriers weren't fully applied.

Update 1.20.2 - fixes

Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for reporting the issues and helping us verify crashes & fixes during the last two days. Unfortunately this update was a bit bumpy and introduced some crashes that we had a hard time to recreate ourselves, so your help really sped things up!

We now believe the crashes should be fixed. Please let us know if you experience any problems and we'll get right on it, as always.

Update 1.20.0 is live!

Hey everyone!

1.20.0 is finally here with some big new features!

With this update we have added the Skin & Dye system, which currently offers 2 unlockable skins for each class, and 8 unique dyes for each class - 4 of which are unlocked from the start. We plan to expand on this system with more skins and dyes being added in the future, too!

Tinka's Domain also got a makeover and is now much larger and has some space reserved for Secret Future Things, as well as having a brand new soundtrack that makes it a very atmospheric place to hang out and theorycraft :-)

Speaking of theorycrafting - several sets have been buffed and many items and runes got tweaked, changed, and a few even got replaced with something more suitable (or usable). There's also a few new items and runes for you to discover!

There's also a new Death Recap system, which is a log of what happened to your character before it died, which you can read to figure out what defenses you may need to improve etc.

Along with that comes also a bunch of QoL improvements and fixes, such as being able to lower the amount of particles from spells & effects, always loading in to the last visited hub (Chronicon or Tinka's) when loading up your character, and more.

Last but not least, Endless Tier Boosting is now adaptive and will let you boost more tiers the further you get, up to a maximum of 10 tiers per run!


And now we begin work on the first DLC which will expand upon the endgame content quite a bit. We will have more info to share as things progress, but you can refer to the roadmap to see the overall plans for the rest of the year.

And as you may have noticed, this text is full of "we" and not "I" - that's because as of a few months ago, my fiancée has officially joined Subworld and the development of Chronicon! She's been with us the entire way since before the Early Access launch in 2015, giving me feedback and painstakingly helping me test things. And as of this year she's been taking on larger responsibilities like world & system design! We've worked on some pretty cool things lately, which you'll see in the first DLC, later this year! I'll remain the outward voice but you'll probably see her pop up on the forums or in support email from time to time under the nickname "Marruu". Yes, the same as Commander Marruu from Act 2 :-)

1.20.0


Big Features:

  • New Tinka's Domain! Complete with a brand new music track for it.
  • Added Skin & Dye system (Wardrobe) - access it by interacting with the new red Wardrobe in Tinka's Domain or The Chronicon (near your stash).
  • Added 2 additional skins for each class, unlockable via story and endgame progression on a per-class basis (account-wide unlock).
  • Added 32 dyes: 8 per class - 4 base dyes that are always available, and 4 dyes that drop from bosses randomly (account-wide unlock).
  • Note: Your character is no longer automatically dyed based on skill point distribution - the new dye system overwrites this! But the base 4 dyes are very similar to the old system.
  • Added a Death Recap system! Click the new Death Recap button after you've died to see the last 25 changes to your health, including detailed information such as damage element, direct/indirect, absorbs, healing, and more.

Linux:

  • Now (finally) up to date!

Endgame Improvements:

  • For every 50 Endless Tiers beaten, the Boost Tier boosts and additional Tier, ie at T50 you can boost 4 at a time, at 100 5 at a time, etc. Caps at 10 at a time.

QoL Stuff:

  • Stash and Dummies are now marked on map in both Tinka's Domain and the Chronicon.
  • Tinka's Domain and The Chronicon maps no longer gets fogged up (always fully explored).
  • Loading a character now puts you in your last visited hub (Tinka's Domain or The Chronicon) rather than always in The Chronicon.
  • Added a new scale setting for the item, spell, and tooltip cards. (so it can be scaled independently from your inventory scale setting)
  • Runes now have a prefix depending on if they are crafted or found in Anomalies. This prefix is also noted (and shortened) when hovering over an item with a Rune on it.
  • Added a "Particle Intensity" setting to the Video options, which can be lowered or even turned off to reduce particle clutter.
  • Items that have been dropped out of the inventory no longer get picked back up with radial loot, and must be individually picked up.
  • Made in-game update notes (from 1.20 and forwards) more readable.

Items & Enchants:

    Enchants:

    • Poison Satellites: Now deal instant damage as well as the DoT effect. Now works with Entity's Eccentricity.
    • Twisters: Lasts slightly shorter, performance improved.
    • Crit Explode: Slight performance bump.

    Any Class:

    • Jotunhelm: Now GA to 60% (was 50%).
    • Lucilla's Vision: Now GA to 16% (was 15%).
    • The Hardcore: Now has a cooldown of 90 seconds, down from 180.
    • Cosmic Cape: Now turns 1.5x of the Mana into Damage, down from 2x.
    • Stormchasers: Now Greater Augments up to 20% (was 15%) but has a cap of 15 stacks.

    Templar:

    • (New) Heatwall: Molten Shield and Shattering Shield have x% less cooldown and deals x% increased damage, and also casts Singe.
    • Vindicator: Now also applies a debuff to foes hit, increasing the damage they take from the effect. Stacks infinitely.
    • Tome of Healing: Now always rolls Increased Healing From All Sources instead of Health Regeneration.
    • Tome of Condemnation: The Ember cast on Condemnation now deals the same damage as Condemnation did.
    • Iactus: Now gives Shield Throw, Shield Spiral, and Shield Boomerang a chance on hit to cast Shield Spiral.

    Berserker:

    • Brutal Stompers now affect Hop (utility).
    • Cataclysm set: 3) Stalagmites instead form in a nova around the Berserker, releasing after 2 seconds to deal 300% of the total built up damage of all Stalagmites. Each hit of Quake increases the damage the Stalagmite nova deals by 15% to that target.

    Warlock:

    • Coldhearted Lich 2) now also doubles the base damage of Spirit of Torment.


Runes:

    Note:

    • All classes now have 20 runes each, with 20 general runes applicable to all classes, giving a total of 100 runes!

    Any Class:

    • Lesser Rune of Companion Mobility now grants all companions the Warping affix (Leaping affix is not granted to Melee companions anymore).

    Templar:

    • (New) Lesser Rune of Blocking: Can be placed on weapons and offhands, and makes the item count as a shield as well as grant block chance/damage.
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Rolling Thunder has been replaced with Rune of Magnetic Flurry: While Flurry is active in a slot, Magnetic Blades, Magnetic Orbs, and Magnetic Field tick rate is increased by x% of attack speed.
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Molten Fragmentations: Molten Fragmentations is now a Nova skill and deals x% increased damage in all directions.
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Blade Celerity: Each trigger of Celerity summons a single Dancing Blade which lasts 7 seconds. Max Y blades can be summoned form this effect.
    • The old effect of Lesser Rune of Rolling Thunder has been moved to the Sword called Rolling Thunder.

    Berserker:

    • Lesser Rune of Mega Charge: now increases damage by an additional 30/50% (A/GA), up from 18/25%.
    • Lesser Rune of Dragon Thorn: now deals 500/800% (A/GA) Thorn damage, up from 220/300%.
    • Lesser Rune of Pulverize: Stonefist now always strike 3 additional times on Crowned foes, and now augments increased damage over extra strikes. Augments up to 200% increase in damage.

    Warden:

    • Lesser Rune of Poison Trees: now augments 200/300% down from 300/500%.
    • Lesser Rune of Norla's Gale: Now makes Gusts and Tornadoes aim for the Warden's target, and any Tornadoes cast beyond the cap will empower existing Tornadoes and refresh their duration.
    • (New) Lesser rune of The Storm Killer: When Razor Wind is cast on a Tornado, the Tornado explodes for xxx% of its total remaining damage in a 5 meter radius.

    Warlock:

    • (New) Lesser Rune of Ritual of Desecration: While Ritual of Souls is active in a slot, Desecration deals xxx% increased damage. (Replaces Rune of Curse of Thorns which previously did absolutely nothing... my bad)
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Demonkin: While there is a living Infernal Demon, Demon Spawn (Ultimate) is active.
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Perforation: Ritual of Perforation also increases the damage of all Projectile skills by xxx%.
    • (New) Lesser Rune of Mega Horde: Horde is xxx% more effective.
    • Lesser Rune of Infinite Ruin: Now also causes foes affected by Ruin to suffer xxx% increased damage from Cold Death.


Skills:

    Berserker:

    • Leap, Arctic Leap, Dragon Leap: Lowered screenshake.
    • Freezing Breath: Lowered visual clutter, increased chance to freeze to ground to 28/46/64/82/100% (was 18/21/24/27/30%)
    • Distant Threat (mastery): No longer targets far away foes, and instead prioritizes targeting Crowned foes. Now called "Immediate Threat".

    Warden:

    • Sprint is now also a Mobility skill. (was only Utility)
    • Chain Lightning: No longer has a cooldown, and is now an Assault skill.
    • Sporelings: No longer deals damage when passing through foes - only boosts shrooms. No longer spawns when too many spores are on-screen, and will instead immediately boost a nearby shroom.
    • Windwalker: No longer has a visual effect when using Norla's Gale.
    • Gale: Is now 30% smaller (visual only).
    • Tornado: Is now limited to 5 instances. Is now 10% smaller (visual only).


Performance:

  • Improved overall performance somewhat.
  • Slightly improved some Anomaly load times.
  • Post-processing shaders (bloom, heat effect, water/lava movement etc) performance boosted by approx 10%.

Sound & Speech:

  • Added new sound & speech to Stamm the Unbreakable act 2 boss.
  • Added closing sounds for both Stashes and the Wardrobe.

Misc:

  • The stash now has an open and close visual indication.

Fixes:

  • Lantern Trees in Act 2 and Anomalies are back to being colorful.
  • The Star markings on base item stats should now correctly consider weapon attack speed when marking the damage stat.
  • Fixed issue in co-op where creating a new character as the last joined player would reset quest progress for the other characters.
  • Fixed the gamepad button prompts overlapping the Buyback notice on shops when using a controller.
  • Fixed issue where effects that made Ultimate skills last until death could be exploited to cast said ultimate and swap it to something else and still maintain it and another Ultimate (or other skill).
  • Fixed issue which would cause lava to not light up properly when using custom or mis-matched resolution settings.
  • Fixed multiple issues with text and button scaling in menus when using certain 4:3 resolutions.
  • Fixed issue where on some resolutions the skill tree and inventory were not the same size and had some weird visual errors.
  • Fixed Potions not displaying the minimum level to drink.
  • Fixed Chantie's and Chantelle's voice lines sometimes getting mixed up.
  • Fixed crash from using Warden's Life Roots Perk.
  • Fixed hover names on Stash etc being displayed after clicking it.
  • Fixed issue where last bosses of acts 4 and 5 didn't give enough loot.
  • Fixed some missing localization such as companion names & tags.
  • Fixed several issues with help index in localized files.
  • Fixed crash from generating Champions with bad or missing name data (custom translations are typically the cause of this!)

Update 1.11.0 is live with fixes, tweaks, and Spanish language!

Hey everyone!

This update mainly focuses on fixing issues and improving QoL, but it also adds the second official translation: Spanish!

If you play with click-to-move I think you will find that it's much more responsive, and I'd love to get your feedback on the changes. I've also changed the item cards when you hover items on the ground to be the same as the one you see in the inventory, and I've moved it to the bottom right corner so it doesn't obscure your vision in fights.

Aside from that, a bunch of recent and old issues alike have been fixed. Some were hard to reproduce and confirm so please let me know if any issue persists and I will get back on that!

Language:

  • Added Official Spanish translation!

Controls:

  • Click-to-move controls have been greatly improved to be more responsive.
  • Players 2-4 in co-op can now use the Autoloot feature.

Interface:

  • Slight performance bump for some interface elements.
  • Hovering an item on the ground with the cursor (or holding the inspect button on a controller) now shows the item info as it does in the inventory.

Items:

  • Jeopardy no longer rolls Crit Explode, and instead rolls Enrage as the extra enchant.

Misc:

  • Improved text file data printouts for 3rd party tools. (ctrl+S+J now prints ALL currently available data, and it makes the game unresponsive meanwhile because reasons)

Fixes:

  • Fixed some parts of Act 2 being able to spawn Shrines that blocked the path.
  • Fixed pathfinding not being updated when doors were locked or unlocked (opened/closed), giving problems to AI, companions, and click-to-move.
  • Fixed several inconsistencies and issues with click-to-move controls which could lead to the player getting stuck.
  • Fixed Ancestral Rage rune (Berserker) causing Frostskin to give absurd amounts of resistance.
  • Fixed Warden Perk "Flutterwarm" giving inconsistent and sometimes increasing amounts of Evasion when changing equipment.
  • Fixed Greater Rune count not going down (nor the effect being removed from the player) when using Runelord's Remorse on an equipped item.
  • Fixed the "Music Frequency" setting resetting itself after a game restart.
  • Fixed Radial Loot circle remaining after disabling the Auto-loot option from the settings.
  • Fixed Expulsion + Soul Purge not giving correct damage numbers (visual only).
  • Fixed issue where player clothing colors would revert to the base color after editing skills.
  • Fixed Stone of Tephra not being marked as being from a Unique foe in the Codex.
  • Fixed incorrect highlighting in the Shared Stash when having unlockable rows in the Personal Stash.
  • Fixed some text remaining in English (or whatever language was active on game start) when changing the language.
  • Fixed Mastery skill descriptions sometimes missing skill references (blank names).
  • Fixed some hotkey prompts showing keyboard keys when using a controller.
  • Fixed issue where you wouldn't get the "press (X) to inspect" tooltip while in your inventory using a controller.
  • Fixed some font overlap issues when having longer hotkey tooltips.
  • Fixed the single-use portal from The Roost to The Lushlands (Act 4) remaining after usage and causing a crash if used a second time.
  • Fixed graveyard crash when having some bad data.
  • Potential fix for weird crash that may happen on kill-X-amount-of-Y side quests - hard to reproduce, please let me know if it persists!
  • Potential fix for several co-op issues such as random freezing when rapidly selling stuff at a vendor and waypoint issues.

Another bugfix update has just gone live, fixing the remaining reported crashes and some other issues as of the recent large update. This update also lets you radial loot the event gifts!

  • Fixed issue where renaming a character would cause a crash if returning to main menu and hitting "Continue as ".
  • Fixed renamed characters not immediately showing up in the Load Hero menu.

Christmas event now live!

Hey everyone!

The in-game Christmas event is now live!

During this event you'll be able to go into Tinka's Workshop to help him with a slight corruption problem... in here you'll face a Unique foe which can drop several Legendary Christmas-themed items - including a max sized bag!

You'll also get a lot of wrapped gifts, which when opened will reveal random items. Keep in mind that your loot filter setting will affect these gifts, so they may appear empty when opened!

Lastly you'll find that some locations, including Anomalies, will have some decoration fitting the season, and that your Crystals appear a lot more edible...

The event will last through the rest of the year.
