CINEVEO bug fix #2 update for HTC Vive released!
What is new:
- If you have the SteamVR client running, the blue play button in the Steam client should now say "PLAY IN VR" instead of "PLAY".
- When you launch one of CINEVEO themes in the launch options list, it will now say "CINEVEO - Virtual Reality Cinema" in the little SteamVR window instead of "Unresponsive".
- After launching the app you can now see the SteamVR dashboard and the CINEVEO connects to the Steam Community.
- Play time is finally being counted in every cinema theme !!!
- We also made sure that CINEVEO is launched at 64 Bit instead of 32 Bit, which hopefully removes the crashing issue for some.

Inspired by the 1960's drive-in cinemas that were all the rage throughout the United States, CINEVEO's 1960 Drive-in Movie Theater v2.0 is the most detailed VR cinema environment ever created. You get to watch your movies in your personal drive-in movie theater, located on a vast hill overseeing the Los Angeles city skyline at night. You get to sit inside an ultra-detailed 1958 Buick convertible car with a fully modeled interior and exterior. Look behind and you will spot a road-side diner with restroom building, projector tower and neon billboard. Search the sky long enough and you will spot classic Douglas DC airplanes flying over the city.

CINEVEO bug fix #1 update for HTC Vive released!
The bug fix #1 update disables the webcam display by default to prevent this conflict. To activate the webcam display without causing conflicts, attach an external USB webcam to your PC and press the [ W ] keyboard key anytime when you are in the cinema.
CINEVEO now available with HTC Vive support!
The new SteamVR version of CINEVEO (v1.9.1), including The 4D Movie Theater v4.0 and The Void v3.0, is now available on STEAM.
The SteamVR version of CINEVEO for the HTC Vive provides the identical VR Cinema experience as the Oculus Rift version with all features available.
Note: This is the first release of CINEVEO for SteamVR and the HTC Vive. There might still be some bugs and issues, which we hope to solve in future updates.

STEAM users now get free access to CINEVEO for Android Cardboard
If you want to enjoy CINEVEO on the go, you can install the Android version on your mobile device. The Android app APKs of CINEVEO's three mobile VR cinema themes (4D Movie Theater, 1960s Drive-in Theater and The Ocean Theater) are in the STEAM installation folder.

CINEVEO v1.9.1 update adds Consumer Rift and Oculus SDK v1.3 support
WHAT'S NEW IN V1.9.1?
This release adds the 4D Movie Theater v4.0
• The 4D Movie Theater has been updated with Oculus v1.3 SDK and Consumer Rift support. It also works great with the DK2.
• We created an innovative new dynamic lighting technique (CINEVEO’s Stereo PFOV Lighting), which creates an intense atmosphere inside the movie theater using light, colors, reflections and shadows. This effect can be seen especially well during action scenes with a lot of screen flashing (explosions, fire, etc.). The best position to see this effect is the last row of the movie theater, with the theater walls partially visible in the peripheral field of vision.
• Lots of graphics enhancements.
• Improved sense of scale, depth and immersion. Sitting in the 4D Movie Theater feels so real, it’s almost scary.
• Enhancements to multiplayer audience. CINEVEO users can now see other users from both the Android Cardboard and Oculus Rift version of CINEVEO sit around in the movie theater.
• Improved contrast and color saturation. Since the black smearing issue has been partially fixed in the consumer rift, we have decided to disable the black smearing correction. Now black is 100% black and colors appear more saturated. However, there is now a bit of black smearing in the DK2.
This release adds The Void v3.0 cinema theme
• The Void cinema theme has been updated with Oculus v1.3 SDK andConsumer Rift support. It also works great with the DK2.
• Added CINEVEO’s new ULTRA - 3D mode. This new mode enhances the perceived depth and immersion of any 3D SBS or Over / Under movie to such a degree, that you feel as if you are literally inside the movie! An amazing new way to experience 3D movies. ULTRA - 3D works best with 3D videos in UHD (4K) resolution.
How to watch a 3D movie in ULTRA - 3D?
Play a 3D video file, preferably in UHD (4K) resolution, in The Void v3.0 cinema theme. Choose the curved cinema screen and then enlarge the cinema screen with the (PageUp) key so much that you can no longer see the edges of the cinema screen when you look at the center of it. You will notice that with every PageUp key press, you emerge more and more into the movie. Welcome to ULTRA - 3D!
• Added support for users with vision impairment. These users now have the option to make the cinema screen extremely large, which helps them make out the details in a video.

• CINEVEO STEAM users now have free access to the full version of CINEVEO for Android Cardboard. The Android APK's are in the CINEVEO installation directory. Three VR Cinemas are available for Android; The 4D Movie Theater, The 1960s Drive-in Movie Theater and the Ocean Theater.

To start off a series of major updates, preparing CINEVEO for the big Oculus Rift CV1 launch, we are excited to announce today the release of the CINEVEO v1.8.9 update! This update adds The Void v2.0 cinema theme with Windows 10 and Oculus Runtime v0.8 support, as well as CINEVEO's new ULTRA - 3D mode (Info in ReadMe PDF) and support for users with visual impairment.
