Circuit Breakers Launch Promotion Feature
Hello Breakers!
Circuit Breakers is part of a special publisher offer on Steam. This means we’re featured on the front page with 20% off. We are hoping that this brings a lot of new players to the game. Those of you joining us, welcome! We are very excited with initial feedback and if you want to help us, leave us a thumbs up review so we can reach more players.
We’re hoping to share more news on the online multiplayer soon and we might organise some times to play some online games with you all in the future.
As part of our front page feature on Steam a couple of games from the publisher (Excalibur) have gone on sale. They may not be similar to Circuit Breakers, but feel free to check them out.

Circuit Breakers Has Launched
Hello Breakers!
Circuit Breakers is finally now available on Steam. The team are very excited to see what you think of the game!
We're launching with a 20% discount for the first week and are working very hard on the online multiplayer mode, currently it is in beta and allows connections but it is not recommended to play just yet. More news to come for online multiplayer soon.
For now, try and get a high score in score attack, complete special challenges and let us know who is your favorite character! Personally, I'm a fan of Samson's Missile launcher!
Don't forget to enter the competition to win a full size Arcade Cabinet here:
We are all very excited about the launch tomorrow. In the office we have experienced some heated rivalries as the team compete for the best score in Score Attack mode. When Circuit Breakers launches we hope that this rivalry will continue!
The score attack mode records data on your best score as well as the best global score and the top score of your friends.
We recorded a brief run though of the first level on Score Attack mode using Aldo. As you can see it can get quite hectic!

Update Notes | RC 1.2.0
Hello,
This update fixes several things and improves online support. I still wouldn't recommend using online just yet as there are a few more issues to sort out but hopefully we'll have things running for tomorrow's release.
I'd also like to mention that tomorrow's version will be listed as version 1.0.0 and not RC 1.X.X as it will no longer be in testing.
Changes since 1.1.1
Added some new game areas
Added new enemies
Added better online menus
Added an indicator when spawning
Minor bug fixes
Online Multiplayer Beta
Hi everyone,
We would like to share details on the multiplayer features of Circuit Breakers.
When the game launches on 17th of November a fully supported local multi-player mode will be available, we’ve tested this for many, many hours and have had great fun shooting robots with friends! Up to four players can play together using 360 controllers and a keyboard.
We do have online multi-player working, however we understand that it needs just a little bit of attention before it becomes a fully-fledged online mode. Therefore the online portion will be currently named as “online beta”. Over the next few weeks we’d greatly appreciate any input or reporting any issues to us regarding the online beta.
Feel free report any issues to us at support@excalibur-publishing.com and we can begin eliminating them up to the final launch of Online Multi-player.
Update Notes | RC 1.1.1
Hello Circuit Breakers!
Not really sure what to call the Circuit Breakers fanbase yet, maybe just "Breakers". Anyway, this newest update allows access to the online beta but don't get too excited because several things broke while getting it to play nice with Steam. Expect an update this weekend that gets everything ready for release.
Changes since 1.1.0
Some waves of enemies have been adjusted.
Enemies now have individual point values.
Fixed a bug where Samson's splash damage didn't give him points.
Various minor gameplay changes.
Allowed access to the online beta.
Added additional enemy types.
Update Notes | RC 1.1.0
Hello again,
We have a slightly larger update today that fixes some slightly larger bugs as well as several minor bugs.
Changes since 1.0.2
Fixed an issue where enemies would stop spawning and would prevent futher progressing
Added text to certain menus for clarification purposes
Fixed an issue where all Score Attack courses were unlocked from the start
Fixed an issue that would allow players to choose locked characters
Fixed an issue where unlocking cores did not work correctly
Fixed an issue where only BAX would appear in Arcade mode boss rooms
Fixed an issue where stats could be seen for locked characters
Fixed an issue where elite drums would not explode
Fixed a few logbook entries
I happened to get my Steam controller yesterday. It works fine with the game but I haven't really found the perfect preset yet.
If you don't see "RC 1.1.0" on your main menu then you aren't up to date. If you don't see the update available on Steam try restarting.
