- added a safecheck for village name and village elder at the end of the game, for older game saves. In some instance the score submitted for the end of the game had a blank name and blank village name. - introduced some fixes to the save/load system, for certain instances. - added back, disable crash handler to the game, to use less memory. For those in Win 11 that have problems running the game, browse to local files and use civitatem.exe, or nw.exe to run the game (make a new shortcut).
Update 1.03

Here is the 1.03 update with tweaks, bug fixing and improvements. I am planning a bigger update next month, so stay tuned!
Some of the major fixes/improvements are listed below:
- improved performance Part II, will continue - raids only come once per year now on Normal difficulty(no matter the year), but it might have one or two raiders extra, based on how far you are in the game. - bonus villager at start, spawns near your village elder. - improved some instances where the villager tried to go to herbalist when whey were healthy. - made a safecheck to make sure the raiders attack after a certain time. - improved how villagers with no tools act, so players will notice them * in some cases you couldn't assign a certain village to a job, and there wasn't always feedback for that. - the blue workbar now is disabled when is not needed. - farmers check if is autumn when trying to reap the harvest. - fixed a bug where you couldn't place mine on a mine spot. - fixed a bug with some scouts showing TEXT instead of the time they need to explore - fixed a bug with people getting stuck in certain buildings while they were built. - fixed a bug with animals not being slaughter for meat by the farmers - fixed a bug with some buildings like Fishery were able to be built on ground at the start of the game.

Civitatem - First week
Dear Village Elders,
One week has passed away since our endeavor has been officially launched, and i wanted to tell you what's next.
First, i am working on localization, translations to several languages (DE, PT - Brazil, etc), gameplay tweaks, update to libraries to be more compatible with newer OS (win 10, win 11), heavily improve the performance, and of course adding new content for you to enjoy.
As you can see here https://steamcommunity.com/app/670820/allnews/ almost each day i did a game save compatible patch, and from now on i will try to keep them weekly, when needed, or even faster if people report problems we (me and my wife) haven't discovered while testing, playing.

Update 1.02
- fixed a possible performance leak for low end PCs, some reported crashing in the main menu after a while(med to high end pc don't have this problem). Will continue to optimize with each update. - fixed a bug with now stockpile showing too many piles of resources - fixed a bug with survival save being lost even if the game wasn't properly closed from the main menu. - fixed a bug with some scouts while at the village, they were shown as scouting on the map. - improved combat, so villagers wont get and/or move to new targets and try to respect your current orders - made the herbalist to bring the herbs gather more often to the Herbalist house.

- fixed a bug with stockpile resources piles not showing. - fixed a bug with builders taking resources and dropping them back to the ground. - fixed a bug with some combatants getting stuck on getting food routine, during raids. - fixed some achievements. For those that think that they didn't get some achievements, load the last save you got and wait 10 seconds or so. And also finish the game if you are close, up to the credits. - fixed again, the Armory/Blacksmith bug, if you use an old save, use SHIFT+U on stuck villagers(click on them first to select), if they don't recover. (thanks sfnguyentx and Grizzabella for reporting) - added a safecheck to prevent some new villagers to spawn dead or wounded, when they shouldn't. - added a safecheck to help villager wake up from the ground, and not move at sleep angle in certain cases.
Patch 1.01
- fixed in theory a bug with armory in some cases, with those villagers that toke weapons from blacksmith couldn't put them in armory. (couldn't reproduce, so i did some changes in code) - fixed a bug with the Mines not showing the resource amount after they were built. - fixed a bug with herbalist villagers portraits now showing all the patients. - fixed a bug with IGMenu on save, was showing old saves. - fixed a bug with Map Village name, and end game screen not recording the current Villager Name and Village name. - fixed GAME End Score (those that already finished i am gona fix it manually for Top Scores Page.) - improved the performance of the season transition

- fixed a bug with the blacksmith in some cases not being able to take the crafted weapons to Armory - fixed a bug with health sometimes not being displayed when villagers are selected in combat

After staying several years in Early Access, we finally made to transition to Full Launch! Many things have changed and improved, and all these things wouldn't be possible without your help, so i thank you and i hope you hope you will enjoy the full Civitatem experience.
