As mentioned in our previous preview, we are overhauling our damage system for more satisfying crashes and more intense action.
Cars are re-done with a health based system. hood, doors, and trunks can be damaged open while racing.

Update 0.50.0 Preview 4 - Underwater and Smooth Beaches
Hello! I'm here to share behind the scenes development of the terrain, planned to be released with 0.50.0.
I will be posting a series of Terrain Videos to show progress on developing Steelbrook, the city that CloseCall's racetracks will be in.
This is part 3 of the Terrain Time Lapse. I am smoothing the coastlines, increasing the height of the land underneath the water, and adding little islands for the coast highway.

Update 0.49.8: Preview 2 - Update 0.50.0 Preview
Hello! I'm here to share about current development progress of CloseCall and what to expect in our next update.
As mentioned in our previous preview, we are overhauling our damage system for more satisfying crashes and more intense action.
Cars are re-done with a health based system. Hood, doors, and trunks can be damaged open while racing.
Cars can have their entire body sections detached based on the severity of a crash,
We are also experimenting on different city assets to develop city tracks:
An upgrade to the entire environment of Steelbrook will come as 0.50.0

Update 0.49.8: Preview 1
Hello! I'm here to share about current development progress of CloseCall and what to expect in our next update.
We are in the process of adding a British coupe to the vehicle line up:
We are overhauling our damage system for more satisfying crashes and more intense action.
We have improved vehicle models with doors, hoods and trunks that are able to swing out when wrecked.
We also enabled the ability for vehicles to split in large pieces. Cars can be split into front, middle and rear sections as shown below:
We are also experimenting with health based damage system for vehicles. We aim to make each lap a fight for survival until the next lap, with damage effecting vehicle performance. However, we must figure out penalties for pit lane repair and a regular crash out so that gameplay is fair and balanced.

Build v0.49.72a is now released!
This update features Headlight Customization, Updated Photo Mode and a new vehicle: Durant Guerrero.

The new Durant Guerrero, an American muscle coupe! As with all new vehicle additions, visit the exchange to see available vehicles on the current day. If you don't see the car you want, race in an event to advance a day.

Interface/Controls: -Removed: Auto-toggle HUD in Photo Mode. -Modified: Camera Option in event Pause Menu now named Photo Mode. -Added: Manual toggling HUD in Photo Mode. -Added: Extra HUD Display Toggle in Photo Mode, will disable FieldBreaker Crosshairs.
