Hey everybody! I hope you have all been doing well! I graduated earlier this year with a BA in Graphic Design and Media Arts. I also interned at a nonprofit organization called the Franco-American Centre and produced some 3D animated videos for them! Check them out!

As far as Coffee Run goes, I think I am going to move on to other projects (not enough people seemed interested in figuring out the storyline behind the game or interested in updates for the game in general), so yeah. If, all of a sudden, there is a large amount of demand for me updating the game, or if I get some really interesting ideas for a new update, then I will. But that doesn't seem to be the case right now.
I developed a brand for myself called Rodey Designs. You can check out my website at www.geocities.ws/andrewstestingwebsite/rodeydesigns to see all my latest 3D creations. I know, I should invest in a custom domain, and I probably will soon!
Have a happy holiday season, everyone.

Hey guys, I know it's been so long
Hello everyone. This is Andrew Rodenhiser. I know it's been a really long time [about two years] since I made updates to Coffee Run. I apologize for that. I've been investing all my time into my college-work. I am set to graduate later this year, though! I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a concentration in 3D Modeling and Animation.
I am really happy that after all this time, you guys are still supporting the game. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I know some of you are waiting for an update to the game, or perhaps even a mobile-port. These are both possibilities that I will look into, after I graduate or possibly sooner, depending on my schedule. I also am aware that some of you are encountering some display issues on different screen resolutions. I am sorry about that. I just learned about responsive design late last year, but that was with webpage design. I currently don't know how to create responsive games for Steam, but I will learn as soon as I find the opportunity!
I've also been trying to think of ideas for new projects, and those ideas include short animated films in addition to more video games on Steam! I'm currently working on a short animated film right now with the slim amount of free time I have between working on coursework, and I plan to release it onto YouTube under the channel name "Andrew Rodenhiser" in the near future!
Also, I have my own portfolio website now called Rodefolio! Right now, it's being hosted by Geocities.ws. I created it for Web development courses I've been taking! Here's the link if you want to check it out! On there, I will be posting my various creations too!

Once again, everyone, thank you so much everyone for your support.

Update 2.17
Hello my fellow coffee drinkers, I have fixed the audio bugs that were present in version 2.16!
-Andrew Rodenhiser
Update 2.16
Hello everyone!
I made a small update to the color scheme [I changed the menu colors up as an experiment; let me know if the new scheme suits the theme of the game] and also, I modified the Coffee Run logo! Additionally, some of you commented on how the hit-boxes of the coins weren't completely centered, so I fixed those! Furthermore, I made the Zippity Doo Da powerups spawn less often because I felt there were too many of them.
There's currently a little bug affecting some of the sounds [particularly the click noises on the menu and a bit of Joe's dialogue]. I'll get to fixing it as soon as I can. Other than that, the game runs just fine.

Update 2.15!
Hi everyone,
Just a little update on the main menu of the game! You can now switch songs instantly [without having to go to another scene and then come back] by pressing an extra button called "Switch Music"! Special thanks to my friend who helped me fix this bug!
More fixes coming soon! I have received some input on how the game could be improved and I greatly appreciate those suggestions!

Seriously people, how can I improve Coffee Run?
Hello to all those who downloaded and played Coffee Run. I am truly grateful for the amount of attention it has received, being my very first game and all.
I am fully aware that an overwhelmingly high percentage of these positive reviews are ironic. I get it. Coffee Run is the butt of jokes of Steam gaming.
Over the past two years, I have enjoyed reading hilarious comments that yes, I understand, sarcastically, praise the game for "changing the face of gaming", "preventing people from hanging themselves because the game taught them the meaning of life", and even exciting them in ways that are rather inappropriate.
I laughed my butt off watching the "Let's Play" videos on YouTube. If I took a swig of coffee every time I heard someone say, "What the **** is this game", I'd probably be in the ER.
I am also completely aware that some people are complaining about this game even EXISTING on Steam because it is an example of "how games are becoming oversaturated" on here.
If you feel that way, that's perfectly fine. But you know what would REALLY help Steam lose the oversaturation? Instead of sending me messages that merely say, "Your game sucks." and "It's not fun", how about you tell me WHY the game sucks and WHY it isn't fun?
Do you guys really think I am one-hundred percent satisfied with how the game turned out? No! I always see room for improvement in everything that I do! And you know, I REALLY WANT to make the game fun for you guys!
So, if you hate the game and have the audacity to insult me for putting such a game out on the market, do me and Steam a favor: give me some actual constructive feedback that tells me what needs to change or what needs to be fixed in the game. Otherwise, the game will always suck. Plain and simple.
I'm willing to consider ANY serious suggestions people have to make Coffee Run a fun game, and will get back to them as soon as I can.
Version 2.1 is here
Hey guys, here's what I updated to the game.
-Bushes no longer can no longer take away lives but trees can
-Updated Joe life counter icon
More updates are on the way if more people play and notify me of more bugs.
Disregard Announcement about Working on Mac
Hello everyone, I know months ago, I posted Coffee Run works on Mac. Turns out, it does not, judging by the feedback of the post.
I am sorry for not investigating this issue right away [due to loads of college work and other concerns], but I may make the game work for Mac sometime in the future when I have time and IF the game grows more popular. I hope more people will give it a chance and play it. Honestly, I find it pretty addictive, but you guys be the judges! Time will tell, I guess.
It would be great if I could make this run on iOS. I'm gonna try that next when I get the chance, regardless of whether this game grows more popular on Steam.
Maybe it will flourish on the App store, as people have commented it would be fun to play this on iPhone! We'll have to see what happens!

Version 2 of COFFEE RUN is released :)
Hello everyone, thank you so much for your support. Version 2 of Coffee Run has been released. I guarantee that it is MUCH BETTER than Version 1, in terms of graphics, texturing, animation, game performance, bug fixes, as well as some additional features that were not in the first game [dialogue, in-game instructions, option to use the arrow keys, a hidden storyline, straight-line run].
Bear in mind there are some bugs which I will fix ASAP, but please keep in mind that I am simultaneously taking college courses, so it could take a few more months.
I really hope that you guys enjoy this update. I started making these enhancements to Coffee Run less than a month after the game's initial release. I really appreciate the feedback from you guys, regardless if it is positive or negative. Really, I do. Your feedback allows me to grow as a video game designer. My goal is to bring joy and laughter to the gaming community. I created Coffee Run with that goal in mind.
NEW FEATURES
-Brand new splash screen "Made with Unity". It's blueeeeee....ooooooh!
-Joe Cappuccino can speak.
-Music selection [the player can choose between the classic whistling, the new "Technowhim" song, or no music at all]
-Running selection screen [the player can choose between running in a diagonal pattern or in a straight line]
-A loading screen so the player doesn't fret that the game crashed.
-There are now iced coffees and styrafoam coffee cups, in addition to mugs.
-Brand new look to the coins; they ascend to the heavens when collected.
-The player can pause the game by pressing P. This reveals the Options and Instructions buttons.
-The player can quit the game anytime [except on the game over screen] by hitting the Escape key.
-A 3D Coffee Shop [currently has three Powerups from the first game along with donuts that grant the player extra lives from the start of each run from that point on]. More items coming soon!
Known bugs (in Version 2.0.1)
-When choosing music for the gameplay [from the pop-up menu], players can select a song, however, the song selection button they choose will play, even if they select another song. This concept applies until the player returns to the main menu later [can select an alternative song if players hit the Play Button/Shop Button and then hit backspace]
-When hitting the backspace key from the Shop, player returns to the gameplay world [even if they went to the shop from the menu].
-Overlapping text "MORE ITEMS COMING SOON!" overlaps with loading screen [only applies to when in the shop].
-The Options Button can only be clicked when the player mouses over to the top left corner of the button [when it is highlighted].
I know you guys want a Leaderboard feature, and that will come in a later update. I will update the game more often from this point on and will work on adding that feature. There will be a series of small updates coming up within a matter of weeks [how soon depends on my schedule].
Enjoy Version 2.0.1! Please feel free to point out any more bugs that are not listed here! I appreciate constructive criticism.

Coffee Run Update 2.0 Taken Tremendous Strides!!
Hello everyone, this is Andrew Rodenhiser updating you on the next version of Coffee Run! :)
For the past few months, I have been fixating intensely on improving the game's graphics, overall gameplay, performance, and features.
Let me just say that this next update will knock Version 1 right out of the park. Guaranteed. Version 1 was almost like a joke with its utterly simple graphics, lazy texturing, lags, bugs, bizarre audio, and mundane repetition.
My number one goal in life right now is to transform this glitchy and poorly designed game into a polished and dynamic gaming experience that will entertain players for hours on end. I will not rest for an instant until this game matches the positive description of the sarcastic comments left on Version 1.
The game will not be released until it is tested thoroughly on multiple devices (with some devices older than others). I am starting my online college-work a few weeks before my term officially begins so that I can work on the game at the same pace as I was during my summer break.
I would say that version 2.0 will be released (AT THE EARLIEST) late 2018 or (AT THE LATEST) mid-2019.
In the update, there will be a new design for the Cappuccino coins and a wider variety of coffees to collect (i.e. not just limited to mugs). There will also be more types of powerups and items to purchase using coins in a 3D Coffee Shop. One factor that I hope will raise the game's reviews/ratings is that I have incorporated...believe it or not, story elements. Additionally, yours truly will be the voice of Joe Cappuccino. ;) I can't wait to see how this all turns out.
Thus far, my friends and family are blown away by the massive improvements the game has undergone. There's still some room for improvement, which I am more than glad to provide, so please hang in there, guys.
Here are some images of what will be coming up in the update. It is quite possible that by the time the update is released, the graphics will be even better and more detailed than what is shown below. As always, stay tuned!
