v.11 Update News

Hey Everyone,

Earlier this year we decided to try and finish off the story/main missions with this next update. We’re making good progress but it’s taking longer than expected to implement it, along with other additions and the map expansion.

Therefore, we’ve decided to shift gears a bit and wrap up some things we’ve been working on that are standalone (not directly connected to the story) and are close to completion. By doing this it should allow us to get a new release out in February.

One drawback to releasing like this is that our old missions will not be included since they are still undergoing a lot of changes. This means it will be sandbox only this time.

Many of the things we discussed and showed off before will be included. A new very large area of the map will be available (larger than the last expansion) but not the entire final size quite yet. You’ll hear some music, player quips and many other new sounds. New small creatures, TRex redesign, items/gear and herding for all herbivores should all make it in. The update will also include tons of bug fixes, AI improvements, stamina system changes, expanded controller support and more.

Thanks again for your patience on this release.

T-Rex Redesign

Hey Everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving for those in the US! We wanted to give you a peak of some of what we're working on and thought you might like to see the redesign of everyone's favorite turkey. :P

Update News

Hey Everyone,

We wanted to give you an update and let you know where things are headed with the game.

First off, for a number of reasons we’ve decided to hold off on our previously planned spring release.

We know this will be disappointing to some but the game is going through a lot of changes and it just doesn’t make sense from a development or game-play perspective for a release right now.

With that said, the map expansion is coming along well. We’ve also begun to shift our focus to the final story/missions. We’re implementing a custom sound/music system now and moving toward finishing the script, complete with voice acting.

And of course we’re always working on adding new creatures and other content.

Progress is slow but steady, we’ve still got a ways to go but we’ll be able to get a release out later this year that is a lot closer to the final version of the game. We'll keep you posted with more details and screenshots as things progress.
